December 13, 2024 After winning the challenge for Wolfbron Bluffs and becoming the fourth Dieudonné to hold the crown, Lazare releases all the members and ends the longest standing pride's reign over the island. After seven years of the Bluffs being held by the same family, it now sits empty, waiting for the next chapter of it's leadership.
December 6, 2024 Death came to a witch hunter after she called for the death of Karsa, with Kvare answering it causing Miaran to fall. Lazare Dieudonné challenges Louve Dieudonné for Wolfbron Bluffs. Snow seems to be falling in the middle of the summer as strange animals show up and offer a tempting meal for those brave enough to jump in.
November 8, 2024 Scorpius has gone missing and in his place Zaahir steps up to take the throne of Andal Oasis. How this change of leadership will shake things up in the lands, only time will tell.
October 11, 2024 Something is happening in the Scorched Wilds. There is a battle raging between a familiar force and an unfamiliar one. What will you do? Help or hinder?
October 1, 2024 Spooky things are happening as the afterlife start walking among the living once again.
September 30, 2024 Louve Dieudonné manages to keep Wolfbron Bluffs in the family. What will happen between the Bluffs and the otherwise peaceful pride of Lorien Plains?
September 20, 2024 Ilarion Rurik challenges for Wolfbron, will the Dieudonné lead pride fall?
September 8, 2024War broke out once again in the Lagoon when a wedding had some uninvited guest arrive. The war results in the most death matches the island has seen at once. The Summit was challenged by Brighid with Talisa answering the call. After many years of the Summit have the same two leaders, the Summit changes hands. What will this mean for the balance of Amaryllis? A witch hunt has started by Luther and Miaran which seems to be turning things on an island that is full of magic.
August 25, 2024 War broke out in the challenge for the Lagoon after Cassius tries to take the Lagoon from Isla. The Cove remains with Miaran. The leadership of the Mire switches from Sigrún hold to Rike when Luther comes back to take his birthland back. Elephants push into the Rainforest and push out the lions there. Soon after Lucifer lays claim to his birthland and takes over the Rainforest.
June 27, 2024 Conflict and tensions rise as prides come head-to-head with one another across Amaryllis - just as Pyrrha and Cassius take the leap to try and claim (or reclaim) their own thrones.
May 24, 2024 Rulers continue to shift, family strife ensues, and, per usual, tensions seems taunt and always lingering on the horizon.
April 24, 2024 Things are rocky within Amaryllis as the Dieudonne clash result in three deaths and forces a shift in the rulership of Firnen Rainforest. With Caladan Cove freshly overturned as well, what will the consequenecss of these events be?
March 30, 2024 The lull has ended as a long standing family, the Dieudonné, launch death matches against their own. The Plains sees a challenge from a new comer, Aphrodite, and the quite pride is pushed into the spotlight.
March 19, 2024 A momentary lull has overtaken the lands of Amaryllis as its inhabitants attempt to find their footing and rebuild after a string of challenges. How long it will last, however, nobody can be quite sure.
February 11, 2024 The Mire has fallen from the Stärke family and is now held by Luther Rike. The change has stirred but the fighting nature of those on the island. The Brook finds a new leader with Icefang and Isla takes over the Lagoon after a storm pushes out the old leader. Reti finds himself the leader of the Hollows after Alexander is hurt. The Oasis finds a new leader in Léonie who is soon tested by Harou.
January 8, 2024 The snow has finally begun to melt anew, which means that the world is slowly returning to the much-anticipated summer season. With the various holiday activities and the other jests put on by Nafasi also coming to a close, it is safe to say that winter is finally over.
December 5th, 2023 Nafasi had pulled a cruel trick and has sent Amaryllis back into a renewed winter season! But it's not all bad, because the lands will also see a handful of holiday-themed events popping up as a result. To make things more interesting, a wayward trio of travlers have also arrived and are facilitating a mass competition between the prides, bands, and rogues -- formally dubbed the Amaryllis Winter Games.
December 2nd, 2023 The spring air brings forth a number of pride challenges. A familiar challenger for the Cove and the Oasis arrive to try to earn what they want. The new leader of the Lagoon is tested in battle as well. What changes will come from the challenges? Who will remain standing and who will find their world turned upside down?
November 27th, 2023 In a challenge between mother and daughter, the leadership of Wolfbron Bluff changes for the first time in 5 IC years.
November 22nd, 2023 Two death matches, one resurrection, and an almost-war later, the lands find themselves in a constant state of turmoil and calamity. Families have been torn apart and endless blood has been spilt; but how is it all going to end?
November 3rd, 2023 The lands stir violently as a death match rages on between Aeistrios Saxe and Morrigan Greyflood. Observers spill into the pit in droves to witness what will no doubt be a historic battle -- and it is clear that this familial fued is far from over, no matter who wins and who dies.
October 12th, 2023 With winter comes the surge of more pride challenges; Ludivine challenges Ryker for Firnen Rainforest and is victorious in her endeavors, meanwhile an outcropping of maims breaks out on the sidelines. In a shocking turn of events Luther returns to challenge Bruno for Ecrosia Mire, will the former heir prove victorious or has Bruno got what it takes to keep his brother's ambitions at bay? This has undoubtedly shaken things up as Bruno declares war against Andal Oasis and Allies in the process!

Though the air is still warm and the sun is bright, the summer is beginning to wane and, with it, the humidity has started to die down. It is a welcomed relief for the inhabitants of the jungle, as more moderate weather will mean that the rainforest will not feel quite as stifling, as well as those from the desert, who's early autumn will see calm winds and mild nights. For the rest of the peninsula, the change in seasons will be gradual, hinting towards the colder months that are soon to come.

Amaryllis' hunt system is an optional function that can benefit both a pride and its members, be used for trades, or just for fun. It is completely member-run.
Each member can have a maximum of 2 of their own characters participate in any given hunt.
There is no posting order, but characters cannot double post.
In order to participate and roll in a hunt participating characters must be at least 1 year old.
Other characters and cubs (3 months and up) can post to the thread to observe the hunt and learn, but should not roll dice and cannot claim trade exp or petals for participating in the hunt.
There are two types of hunts your characters can participate in: Neutral Hunts and Pride Hunts.
Neutral Hunts take place in any of the neutral territories and you have the option of choosing your prey tier.
Pride hunts must take place in their pride territory, can help contribute to a Pride's Tier, and must use the prey tier associated with their pride's size.
Only marked pride members can post to and participate in pride hunts.
Joint hunts or hunts that include characters from other usergroups will not be valid for contribution to a pride’s tier.
Step 1: Starting the Hunt
One character starts a hunt by creating a thread preparing or calling others together.
This first post can include looking for prey, coming up with a plan, tracking scents or trails, etc.
The character initiating the hunt will roll to determine which prey is received and roll for their first round of hits against the prey with the following inserted at the bottom of their post:
{ age | pride perks (if applicable)* | trade hunt perks (if applicable) }
Prey Information: [roll=enter based on whether the hunt is a Neutral or Pride hunt]
Hunter Hit Roll: [roll=#d20]
Hunter Luck Roll: [roll=#d20]
*Only eligible in Pride Hunts.
Step 2: Joining a Hunt and Rolling for Hits
After the initial post has been created, other characters can then join the hunt. The following information and roll must be inserted and filled out at the bottom of each character’s post.
{ age | pride perks (if applicable)* | trade hunt perks (if applicable) }
Hunting Party Total Hits: (add up successful hits rolled thus far)
Hunter Hit Roll: [roll=#d20]
Hunter Luck Roll: [roll=#d20]
*Only eligible in Pride Hunts.
Please see the Determining Hunter Rolls tab for how to calculate the hit and luck values.
Every Hit roll that is 11 or higher counts as a hit against the prey.
Every Luck roll that is 18 or higher counts as an extra hit.
Each prey tier has a set number of dodges. For the hunt to be successful, the hunting party needs to roll more hits than the prey has dodges.
Step 3: Taking Down the Prey and Finishing the Hunt
A hunt will continue until one of three things happen:
The hunting party gives up;
The thread dies; or
The hunting party rolls more hits than the prey has dodges.
Bob and Sally are participating in an Easy Prey Neutral Hunt.
Bob is a Yearling (+1 hit) and a Level 2 Ranger (+1 hit).
His Luck (found on his profile) is 5d20.
Sally is over 2 years old (+2 hits) and a Master Ranger:
She'll get +1 hit from the Level 2 Ranger perk;
The prey will have 1 less dodge from the Level 3 Ranger perk; and
She has chosen the Master trade perk: Experience gives you an additional +2 hits in hunts; and
Her Luck (found on her profile) is 6d20.
Starting the Hunt
1. Bob starts the hunt by rolling for the prey and posting his hunt stats:
Because Bob rolled for easy prey, it will have 6 dodges.
Bob's Rolls
Hits: 7 13 Luck: 19 6 16 5 9
Bob had 2 successful hits against the prey:
1 from his Hit dice, because it was 11 or over; and
1 from his Luck dice, because it was 18 or over.
Sally Joins the Hunt
2. Sally joins the hunt by posting her hunt stats:
{ 2 year | na | Master Ranger (+3 hit, -1 prey dodge) }
Hunting Party Total Hits: 2/5
Hunter Hit Roll: [roll=5d20]
Hunter Luck Roll: [roll=6d20]
Note that, instead of rolling for prey again, Sally included the current total number of hits (from Bob) which was 2; and
Because of her Level 3 Ranger perk, the prey now has 1 less dodge (5 instead of 6).
Sally's Rolls
Hits: 8 16 4 10 2
Luck: 3 14 19 18 7 17
Taking Down the Prey and Finishing the Hunt
3. If you've been counting, you'll see that Bob and Sally have made a total of 5 successful hits. They are NOT done.
Remember, the total number of hits must exceed the prey's dodges. They're 1 hit short.
It's Bob's turn to post his stats again:
{ 1 year | na | Lvl 2 Ranger (+1 hit) }
Hunting Party Total Hits: 5/5
Hunter Hit Roll: [roll=2d20]
Hunter Luck Roll: [roll=5d20]
Bob's Rolls
Hits: 9 3
Luck: 12 20 11 6 4
Now that their hits are more than 5, this hunt is considered successful.
Once the hunt has concluded, the remainder of the thread can be played out in any way and characters can begin to exit.
Remember: Most trade experience tasks require a minimum of 10 posts in a thread, with two actions completing the tasks, in order to be claimable for trade experience.
Helpful Items: If you need help figuring out what your dice are or adding the dice amount for the hunts please use one of the following helpful items: Hunting Dice Amounts or Adding up Hit Count
Neutral Hunts
In Neutral Hunts, you have the option of picking your prey tier or letting the dice pick for you (All). Please use the following roll codes for your prey animal for a neutral hunt:
In Pride Hunts, the prey tier is determined by the total number of adults and yearlings in the pride. Please use the following roll codes for your prey animal for a pride hunt:
Pride Size
Prey Type/Dodges
Inserted Roll
1-10 members
Easy/Medium 6/12
[roll=smallprideprey]
11-19 members
Medium/Hard 12/20
[roll=mediumprideprey]
20+ members
Medium/Hard/Extra-Hard 12/20/30
[roll=largeprideprey]
Cub Hunts
Cub hunts are hunts that are restricted to characters between 3 and 11 months of age. The prey is considerably smaller and perfect for them to learn all about hunting, but these hunts have a few different rules compared to normal hunts.
Yearlings and above may NOT participate.
They can post in the thread and observe, but any rolls will void the hunt.
You may only have 1 of your characters participate.
They can happen on either Neutral or Pride territory.
They will NOT count as a hunt towards a Pride's tier.
Participants will only roll their Luck dice.
To roll the prey for a cub hunt, please insert: [roll=cubprey]
Normal cub prey have 4 dodges. Hard cub prey have 6 dodges.
You will then play out the hunt just like normal hunts, using ONLY Luck dice.

Meerkat: A small mongoose with a long brindle-coated body. They range anywhere from 9 to 14 inches long and weigh 1.5 to 2 lbs. They’re proficient diggers, highly social (forming packs of 2 to 30 individuals), and active during the day.

Spotted Grass Snake: A mildly venomous snake that ranges in color from greys to different shades of brown with rhombuses that pattern its back. They’re typically 18 to 33 inches long and are mostly active during the day.

Determining Hit and Luck Rolls
Hunter Hit Rolls
A hunter’s hit roll is dependent on several factors, including the character’s age, the pride's tier (if applicable), and any earned trade perks. To calculate this, you will start with 0d20 and add up based on the following:
Age:
+1 (Yearlings)
+2 (2 years and over)
Pride Tier Perk:
+1; only added if it is a Pride Hunt and the pride is at least Tier 1.
Ranger Perks: Rangers are hunt specialists and can earn additional perks.
Level 2 Ranger: +1
Level 3 Ranger: -1 dodge for prey
Master/Sub-Master Ranger Perk Option: +2
Bobby is joining a hunt. He is a:
Rogue yearling
Level 2 Ranger
Bobby would roll [roll=2d20] for his hits
+1 for being a Yearling and +1 for being a Level 2 Ranger.
Hunter Luck Rolls
A hunter’s luck roll is dependent on the character’s official Luck Dice, which is found and listed in their profile (this is the same dice used in the Fight System). This roll gives each participant a chance at landing extra hits, which means better odds at taking down the prey.
In the hunt roll coding, simply replace [roll=#d20] with the luck value found in your character’s profile.
Master/Sub-Master Pathfinder Perk Option: +2 to own luck rolls when participating in a hunt.
Helpful Items: If you need help figuring out what your dice are or adding the dice amount for the hunts please use one of the following helpful items: Hunting Dice Amounts or Adding up Hit Count
Hunting Injuries
Becoming injured while hunting is an optional dice-roll mechanic that members can use to add to their roleplaying experience. This is not required, and is not equivalent to being wounded (from on-site fights). If you decide to roll for a hunting injury, please note that it does not impact your fight dice, does not result in a wounded roll, and that you are free to roleplay it out as you would like.
If you are hunting easy prey, rolling a 1-2 means that you are injured.
If you are hunting medium prey, rolling a 1-5 means that you are injured.
If you are hunting hard prey, rolling a 1-10 means that you are injured.
If you are hunting extra-hard prey, rolling a 1-15 means that you are injured.
To see if your character is injured or not, insert the following code into their response post to the hunt:
Hunting Injury Roll: [roll=1d20]
