October 11, 2024 Something is happening in the Scorched Wilds. There is a battle raging between a familiar force and an unfamiliar one. What will you do? Help or hinder?

October 1, 2024 Spooky things are happening as the afterlife start walking among the living once again.

September 30, 2024 Louve Dieudonné manages to keep Wolfbron Bluffs in the family. What will happen between the Bluffs and the otherwise peaceful pride of Lorien Plains?

September 20, 2024 Ilarion Rurik challenges for Wolfbron, will the Dieudonné lead pride fall?

September 8, 2024War broke out once again in the Lagoon when a wedding had some uninvited guest arrive. The war results in the most death matches the island has seen at once. The Summit was challenged by Brighid with Talisa answering the call. After many years of the Summit have the same two leaders, the Summit changes hands. What will this mean for the balance of Amaryllis? A witch hunt has started by Luther and Miaran which seems to be turning things on an island that is full of magic.

August 25, 2024 War broke out in the challenge for the Lagoon after Cassius tries to take the Lagoon from Isla. The Cove remains with Miaran. The leadership of the Mire switches from Sigrún hold to Rike when Luther comes back to take his birthland back. Elephants push into the Rainforest and push out the lions there. Soon after Lucifer lays claim to his birthland and takes over the Rainforest.

June 27, 2024 Conflict and tensions rise as prides come head-to-head with one another across Amaryllis - just as Pyrrha and Cassius take the leap to try and claim (or reclaim) their own thrones.

May 24, 2024 Rulers continue to shift, family strife ensues, and, per usual, tensions seems taunt and always lingering on the horizon.

April 24, 2024 Things are rocky within Amaryllis as the Dieudonne clash result in three deaths and forces a shift in the rulership of Firnen Rainforest. With Caladan Cove freshly overturned as well, what will the consequenecss of these events be?

March 30, 2024 The lull has ended as a long standing family, the Dieudonné, launch death matches against their own. The Plains sees a challenge from a new comer, Aphrodite, and the quite pride is pushed into the spotlight.

March 19, 2024 A momentary lull has overtaken the lands of Amaryllis as its inhabitants attempt to find their footing and rebuild after a string of challenges. How long it will last, however, nobody can be quite sure.

February 11, 2024 The Mire has fallen from the Stärke family and is now held by Luther Rike. The change has stirred but the fighting nature of those on the island. The Brook finds a new leader with Icefang and Isla takes over the Lagoon after a storm pushes out the old leader. Reti finds himself the leader of the Hollows after Alexander is hurt. The Oasis finds a new leader in Léonie who is soon tested by Harou.

January 8, 2024 The snow has finally begun to melt anew, which means that the world is slowly returning to the much-anticipated summer season. With the various holiday activities and the other jests put on by Nafasi also coming to a close, it is safe to say that winter is finally over.

December 5th, 2023 Nafasi had pulled a cruel trick and has sent Amaryllis back into a renewed winter season! But it's not all bad, because the lands will also see a handful of holiday-themed events popping up as a result. To make things more interesting, a wayward trio of travlers have also arrived and are facilitating a mass competition between the prides, bands, and rogues -- formally dubbed the Amaryllis Winter Games.

December 2nd, 2023 The spring air brings forth a number of pride challenges. A familiar challenger for the Cove and the Oasis arrive to try to earn what they want. The new leader of the Lagoon is tested in battle as well. What changes will come from the challenges? Who will remain standing and who will find their world turned upside down?

November 27th, 2023 In a challenge between mother and daughter, the leadership of Wolfbron Bluff changes for the first time in 5 IC years.

November 22nd, 2023 Two death matches, one resurrection, and an almost-war later, the lands find themselves in a constant state of turmoil and calamity. Families have been torn apart and endless blood has been spilt; but how is it all going to end?

November 3rd, 2023 The lands stir violently as a death match rages on between Aeistrios Saxe and Morrigan Greyflood. Observers spill into the pit in droves to witness what will no doubt be a historic battle -- and it is clear that this familial fued is far from over, no matter who wins and who dies.

October 12th, 2023 With winter comes the surge of more pride challenges; Ludivine challenges Ryker for Firnen Rainforest and is victorious in her endeavors, meanwhile an outcropping of maims breaks out on the sidelines. In a shocking turn of events Luther returns to challenge Bruno for Ecrosia Mire, will the former heir prove victorious or has Bruno got what it takes to keep his brother's ambitions at bay? This has undoubtedly shaken things up as Bruno declares war against Andal Oasis and Allies in the process!

Outlaw Bands
Basic Information
The Outlaw trade is set up so that once your character reaches Outlaw Level 3, they can set up a non-traditional pride, called an outlaw band. Members in the band are classed similar to rogues, but will be given a title that shows their rank and membership within the band.

There is a maximum of 5 bands allowed on-site at any given time.

  • If your character meets the below requirements and there is an open slot available, you can go to Pride Updates and submit the necessary form to establish your band.
  • If your character meets the below requirements and there is not an open slot available, keep reading to see how you can challenge for one.
Requirements to Establish

In order to create a band, the intended leader must have the support of 4 other characters (5 total including the leader) prior to submitting their official band creation request.

  • They must ICly gain support and play out setting up the band location together, with exits.
  • This can be done through a group thread or individual threads.

Being an outlaw band leader is considered to be a primary leader. This means that you cannot rule a pride and an outlaw band at the same time. This also means that you need to meet the leadership requirements that pride leaders do.

Primary Band Leaders: 6 posts biweekly. Can be any age and species.

All band-related checks and requirements (posting, news, and history) happen on a biweekly cycle. Checks are done on every second Friday EST, when the IC month rollover happens.

This means that if you are a band leader and you have not completed band requirements before the IC month rollover happens, you may disband. All IC month rollovers are listed in the site's calendar and band leaders are expected to be aware of them and know when their requirements are due.

The maximum amount of members per level 3 Outlaw is 10 (including cubs and the leader). Having more Outlaws in the band raises these numbers, and a level 5 Outlaw contributes an additional 10 member slots.

  • Example: If you have two level 3 Outlaws in the same band, you can have up to 20 members.

If the Band goes over their maximum number of permitted members, a member must either be run out or the band will be forced to disband.

Territory & Ranks

When creating an outlaw band, the band leader can pick one forum as their chosen territory.

  • If you choose a main forum, it does not include its sub-forums.
  • Every main forum can support one outlaw band at a time. This means thay you cannot have two outlaw bands inhabiting Aniadar Jungle at the same time. You can either pick another free territory or challenge the resident band for their territory.
  • The band's page will be viewable on the site's index and will be added to the territory's description upon official establishment.

Ranks within the band are decided by the leading Outlaw and do not have to follow the set-up of typical pride ranks. The number of ranks allowed is dependent on the number of Outlaws that have banded together and their total member capacity.

  • The number of ranks permitted is capped at 70% of the band’s total member capacity. The highest number of ranks that any band can have is 14, irrespective of size.
  • Example: A band with a maximum of 10 members can have up to 7 ranks. A band with a maximum of 20 members can have up to 14 ranks.

Ranks are still classified loosely into the categories of "Leader, High, Medium, Low, and Unranked".

Being a Band Leader

Like prides, it is important that outlaw bands remain active. This is why they are subject to requirements that they must maintain in order to keep control of their bands. Failing these requirements will result in the possible disbandment of the outlaw band.

All pride-related checks and requirements (posting, news, and history) happen on a biweekly cycle.

Primary Leaders: 6 posts biweekly. Can be any age and species.

  • The Pride News must be updated at least once every IC month (2 OOC weeks).
  • The Pride History must be updated at least once every IC month (2 OOC weeks).
Secondary Leaders: For outlaw bands, there are no official secondary leaders. Outlaw leaders may choose to have characters with them in the leadership tier but they are solely responsible for their leadership requirements.
Band Life

Being in a band is unique from prides in a few different ways and come with a unique set of perks. Band perks operate on a tiered-system that is similar to prides but offer different advantages. Basic Perks and Abilties: These are perks applicable to all bands, outside of the tiered system.

  • Band leaders, master outlaws in a band (regardless of rank), and the top two ranks in a band are able to post in the passage.
  • Bands can make official alliances with prides and take in members from other prides during war or other circumstances.
  • All tagged band members are able to claim or defend claims made against rogues.
Band Tiers and Perks

Outlaw bands work on a 4-tiered system that operate on the same way pride tiers do. Band tiers give bonuses to the band as a whole - the more OOC months in a row a band engages in successful band events, the band tier will grow.

  • If a band takes part in 2 successful events in an OOC month, they will move up a tier.
  • If the band takes part in 1 successful event in an OOC month, they will stay at their current tier.
  • If the band has no successful events in an OOC month, they will move down a tier.

A variety of different events can count towards pride tiers, including:

  • Band hunts;
  • Band meetings; and
  • Training events (of any kind/trade)

In order to be considered “successful” and contribute to increasing the band's tier, events need to include at least 3 band members and 50% of the participants must have posted exits to the thread prior to the end of the month. The only exception to this is band hunts, which count so long as there are 2 members present in the hunt and it is finished (the band has rolled more hits than the prey has dodges) by the end of the month.

Band leaders are responsible for tracking successful events and their tiers on their pride page. If the events are not properly tracked, this can result in the loss of perks for members.

Current Band Tier Perks:

  • Tier 1: +1 to hunt rolls for members
  • Tier 2: Chance at +1 cub to outlaw band litters
  • Tier 3: Can move the location of their band once per 6 OOC months
  • Tier 4: Achieved only after having reached Tier 3 and remaining there for an additional 3 OOC months. Includes:
    • The creation of their own band forum within their chosen territory.
    • Doubles the cost to challenge for their band slot or territory.
    • Can initiate prisoner challenges for pride lions at any time.
Challenging & Disbanding

Bands can be challenged for their slots by other Outlaw characters, with a few conditions.

  • Outlaw bands have a 3 OOC month cooldown after establishment in which they can not be challenged for. This goes for both establishing a band in an empty slot, and winning a band challenge.
  • The challenging character needs to be level 3 Outlaw and have a minimum of 4 ICly established supporters. They must also meet leadership requirements.
    • The challenger does not inherit the members of the previous band if they win.
  • Outlaw band challenges are 5 rounds in length and the band leader needs to be the one to reply to the challenge.
  • The challenger much purchased a Band Challenge Pass from the shop prior to initiating the challenge. This pass costs 200 petals, or 400 if the band is Tier 4

Band challenges can be either for their territory or for their band slot (if slots are full).

  • If there is an open band slot and the challenge is just for territory:
    • The losing band does not disband, but must move to another territory.
    • The leader must make a thread for their band in the new territory within 1 OOC week of the challenge results to make their settlement official. Failure to do so will result in disbandment of the outlaw band.
    • If applicable, the losing band will also lose 2 band tiers to account for forced relocation.

  • If there is not an open band slot:
    • The losing band is forced to disband.
    • They can re-group and challenge for another band slot when the leaders’ cooldown is over.

Post-Fight Cooldowns

After successfully winning a band challenge, your character has a cooldown period of 2 OOC months during which the band cannot be challenged for by any outsiders.

  • If won by default, the cooldown is reduced to 1 OOC month.

After losing a band challenge through a fight, you (the player) will be placed on a cooldown period of 2 OOC weeks during which you cannot claim or challenge for another pride with any of your characters.

    • If lost by default, the cooldown is increased to 1 OOC month.

    Outlaw Band Failure/Disbanding

A band can fail for any of the following reasons:

    • The Outlaw leader not making 6 posts biweekly;
    • The band page not being updated biweekly;
    • The number of members exceeding what is allowed; or
    • The member count of the band falls below 5 (have 2 weeks to get it back up to 5 before forced disband)
  • This page was updated on: 6/10/2024
