The Oasis finds a new leader in Léonie who is soon tested by Harou.
January 8, 2024 The snow has finally begun to melt anew, which means that the world is slowly returning to the much-anticipated summer season. With the various holiday activities and the other jests put on by Nafasi also coming to a close, it is safe to say that winter is finally over.
December 5th, 2023 Nafasi had pulled a cruel trick and has sent Amaryllis back into a renewed winter season! But it's not all bad, because the lands will also see a handful of holiday-themed events popping up as a result. To make things more interesting, a wayward trio of travlers have also arrived and are facilitating a mass competition between the prides, bands, and rogues -- formally dubbed the Amaryllis Winter Games.

Summer is in full swing now, with clear skies, warm nights, and ample sunshine! As such, the deserts begin to grow dry, the shores remain a blissful escape, the north is spared with cooling winds, and humidity continues to rise in the jungle. Rain and storms are long forgotten troubles by now, which is both a virtue and a vice during the heat of the season.
All site-based items on Amaryllis are copywritten to the owners. Characters are copywritten and owned by their creators. Amaryllis is currently owned by Ice and Irish.

Earning trade experience is the key to levelling up your characters and giving them thr ability to achieve the various trade perks. Trades tasks are the primary way of earning trade experience, but trade experience can also be earned through site contests, events, and special board-wide plots. Each trade has a set of trade tasks that are tailored and unique to them and their area of expertise.
Joining and Age-Related Experience
Youth can start working on trades once they reach 3 months of age, but they cannot collect their trade exp until they are 1 year old.
Joining with an older character gains you a set amount of experience points to start with. If you do not select a trade initially, the experience will need to be claimed once you decide. Age-related trade experience cannot be split between trades; it must go to either your Master or Sub-Master trade entirely.
2 years: 20 exp
3 years: 30 exp
4 years: 40 exp
5 years: 50 exp
-- and so on, claimable up to a maxium of 10 years old (100 exp)
Posting Requirements for Claiming
In order to claim trade experience for trade tasks, the action must occur over the span of at least 2 posts and must make sense in the context of the thread.
All threads need to have 10+ posts, with exits on or after post #10, in order to claim trade experiejnce from them.
"+5 Participate in a hunt using the rolled hunt system" is exempt from the 10+ post rule, but must have exits.
In most threads, you can claim a maximum of 3 trade tasks per thread. However, there are certain circumstances where you can claim an additional trade task (for a total of 4 trade tasks per thread):
1on1 character threads can claim one additional trade task (total of 4) if the thread is 15+ posts in length; and
Threads with 3-4 characters can claim one additional trade task (total of 4) if the thread is 30+ posts in length.
Threads with 5 or more characters do not qualify for additional trade tasks.
Partial Trade Experience for Dead Threads: Dead threads can be claimed for a flat value of +5 trade exp per thread, irrespective of how many posts there were or if you were working on several trade tasks at once. In order to claim trade experience for dead threads, you need to meet the following requirements:
You still must have performed a relevant trade task over at least 2 posts, as per the normal rules for claiming trade experience; and
If you are the reason the thread died, you are unable to claim any trade experience from it.
