Haakon’s claws aren’t long in the flesh of the boy - as quickly as he feels them dig in, Arawn pulls himself free. Skin rips in the back of Haakon’s neck as he shifts, leaving deep holes that bleed into the sand at their paws. The viking senses the movement, feels it coming - or maybe that’s experience talking. He lifts his head, jaws opening a split second before Arawn’s skull smashes into Haakon’s muzzle. A bright, hot spark of pain blooms from his teeth and chin, very nearly dislodged in the oncoming blow. He tries to clamp his jaws down, trying to bite at whatever bit of skin he can get to tear and destroy, but the pain is blinding. So blinding that he doesn’t see the claws coming, crashing into the side of his face, ripping downwards and barely avoiding his eye. Blood wells and streams down, and Haakon attempts to return the attack with his own claws - trying to dig them into the boy’s face.

his opponent's blood fills his mouth and coats his paw, staining his winter skin in rubelite liquid. their brawl intensifies, neither one yielding. blood flows freely down the phantom's wounded arm, hitting the sand, beads of crimson that stain the earth, and oozed with unbidden fury. pain ebbs along the leviathan's nerves, but he is fueled by bloodlust and adrenaline - the highs of their heightened violence. the golden man haakon would be swift in his charge, those flashing teeth temporarily hooking into the bridge of arawn's nose as they suddenly connect once more; and a numbing pain is swift to set in. but arawn would fight through the pain, his wrath intensifying, as he feels his own face getting shredded by his opponent's flaying claws. more blood blossoms to one side of arawn's face, staining his fur, but he will not remain idle. retaliation would be fierce, as arawn attempts to rush forward, suddenly aiming to grab haakon by the jugular in his final assault.

Drena had been perfectly complacent since arriving in Andal Oasis. She hated the fucking desert, hated being a mother even more. But there was that minimal instinct within her, the drive to protect. And when a skirmish was on their doorstep, the warhound was even more eager to get her claws dirty. She patrolled across the hot sand, her fiery gaze scanning the crowd and throng of bodies being thrown against one another. But it was the familiar voice of @Lagertha that caught her attention. She had a score to settle with that bitch, and though @Draugr had already intercepted her, Drena's mouth was salivating at the opportunity of sinking her teeth into her again. Drena makes a beeline towards the Cove woman, running directly towards her hind end, claws hungrily outstretched as she attempted to latch onto her haunches and pull. Her teeth would snap at the woman's tail, hoping to crunch down on the appendage.

She didn't want to go towards all the sounds and commotions that had her home lit up like an angry beehive. The humming was overwhelming, but what was even more overwhelming was the absence of her siblings and parents. She felt abandoned, scared, lonely. And oddly enough, intrigued. She made her way quietly across the sand, her little paws barely shuffling loud enough to be thoroughly detected on the outskirts of the gathering of strangers. Her ears were planted firmly atop her skull, purple eyes darting too and fro nervously. So many bodies, most so large in comparison to her tiny little form. Griša would leap towards the nearest little formation of pathetic shrubs and greenery dotting the landscape, but her purple gaze was frantically searching the throng of bodies for familiarity. There! In the crowd sat both @Kjartan and @Orren, and though part of her wanted to immediately join their sides, she stayed hidden. Her gaze flickers, managing to find her mother in the crowd, already throwing herself into a fight of her own. She gulps nervously, the saliva in her mouth practically choking her with dread as she continued to watch, wide-eyed, tail tucked.

The fight was quick to the rest of the world surely but to him it seemed to drag on. Claws ripping up his neck sending blood rolling down made him tired but somehow it seemed that he and @Neeha had won this? "Enough you are a good warrior for sure, but paws off our queen!" He hissed as he pulled away from the fight. He was exhausted but didn’t turn his back to @Harou to do so would be disrespectful. His head was hurting and he knew he didn’t want to be in this desert longer than he had to so he dipped his head slightly to the desert king before stepping backwards. "We’ll be going now." He proclaimed as he attempted to leave and leave while giving the lioness who fought with him in defense of Aphrodite an opportunity to join him in leaving.

There was a precious moment of opportunity. Precious was perhaps the wrong word. She didn't linger to cherish it. Precarious. There was a moment where her weight had settled across her squat, indignant ass and the enemy's @Tormenta's weight had yet to settle and in that precarious moment she worked her advantage like a physical law. Immediate, instinctual, inevitable and empty. "Mongrel trash!" she screeched like dry chalk in a dusty throat. Her mouth blazed the harpy cry while iron claws did the rending. At the ends of her brown limbs, flashing pale and dark in the shifting shadows of moonlight, they sprouted their rage. Dug, dragged, heedless of the thickness of flesh and stopped only by facial bone, along the cheek ridge and through the whisker pad to the upper lip. Dead flesh forever flayed. Scars that would heal, separate and mummified. In the unplundered tomb lie the bodies.

Such quantity of blood assured her that she could escape this encounter. She backed up, her tail skirting back under her abdomen. Skull tucked low again, ears down, submissive to fear and the delicate ordering of things that might fall apart if touched. Their king, unlocked from one challenge, fought another. She had heard no orders. The simple fact of life suggested carnage as the onward path, but her breath jolted into her heart and she needed to fix it. Needed to rest. The pain in her shoulder. Did the claws still rest there, a ring of porcupine needles in their shed ends? She limped three-legged toward their inner confines. The thinning of the crowd. Needed to... clear space from the last battle, turn around, keep watch, but furtive with bloody nose now lick at her wounds with little motions. Pink eyes seemed bloodshot like future scabs.

Her forces drop after expending the last bits of energy trying to stop him from forcing her down. And finally, her legs falter making her collapse into her under belly, her legs unable to move further. Sif would never voice surrender, it was not in her nature so instead of saying anything she lowered her head as her way to non verbaly say she was done with this and that at least for now he had won, that he had gotten her away from her home. But she was certain this wont last long... she was going to fight her way out or atleast after she fully recovered. She looked away from him not wanting to look at him, and anger was threatening with comming out but she suppressed it, she knew it would only make her look like a weakling. So she lied down there quietly.
