The woman whirls around and Otter snarls, both happy and terrified to have gained her full attention. She'd never fought anyone, not like this. Not with something on the line. How she wished she'd taken the time to coat her claws in poison before coming here.

The sound that leaves her lips is one of pain as claws sink into her back between her shoulders. Burning like cold fire threatening to eat her. When the woman's fangs sink into her forehead reality returns around her and the pained sound turns into a growl.

She snarls again as she feels the red hot blood running down over her face.

Otter retaliates attempting to bite back at the woman's face aiming to sink her teeth into the skin around and below her jawbone. Hoping to tear at the skin if her teeth find grip. At the same time, her right front limb raises to attempt to strike at the woman's neck where it joins to the shoulder hoping to drag red lines down over her chest as well.

As the chaotic scene unfolded before her, Miaran's heart beat with anticipation and excitement. The Desert lands now tainted with the sweet stench of blood and violence, much like when she had first arrived. Her eyes darted around, taking in the brutality around her, feeling the weight of the darkness looming in on her. She listened intently to the conversations, her heart beating in her chest.

And then she saw it - @Aphrodite ♔, her beloved wife, thrown into a fight to protect a cub that Miaran did not know. At first, Miaran tried to remain detached, to let her wife handle her own battles. But when Helah attacked, a fierce protectiveness surged through her veins. Still, she couldn't bring herself to intervene. This was Aphrodite's fight now.

The pulse-pounding pride challenge finally reached its climax as Harou stood his ground, refusing to relinquish his crown to his challenger. His voice boomed with authority as he proclaimed that those who did not belong should leave. Miaran was safely concealed, her heart pounding with adrenaline as she locked her gaze on her wife in the midst of battle.

But when @Harou ♔ then challenged for Aphrodite, when he dared to lay claim to her wife, Miaran's blood boiled. She was about to step in, to defend what was rightfully hers, when @Milano rushed to Aphrodite's aid. The unfair advantage in the battle made her chest tighten with rage. And then, when Otter (@Neeha) joined in to protect Aphrodite, a mix of pride and relief washed over her.

She longed to answer the call, to defend her wife and her pride members. But she was bound by circumstance, forced to watch from the shadows as the unfolding chaos threatened everything she held dear. The thought of Harou stealing Aphrodite away, of breaking their alliance, fueled a fiery rage within her. War now loomed on the horizon, and Miaran knew she couldn't stand idly by.

As she witnessed the brutality of the Desert King against her hunter, a primal fury ignited within her. The Viper within her hissed with determination, refusing to let this injustice stand. The time for action was near, and Miaran could feel the flames of war burning brighter with each passing moment. She knew that she would not rest until her Queen was safe, and her enemies were vanquished.

The Viper emerges from the darkness with a fierce determination burning in her eyes. Her fangs glinting in the dim light, she moves forward with a sense of purpose, ready to confront the chaos ahead. Every muscle in her body taut with anticipation, she prepares to unleash her wrath upon those who have wronged her.

With a menacing hiss, she advanced into the midst of the turmoil, ready to unleash her wrath upon those who had wronged her. Her venomous bite awaited those who dared to stand in her way, her claws poised to strike with lethal precision. The Queen of the shadows, she would not rest until vengeance was hers.

Miaran calls for the theft of @Helah ♔ as it ignites a fire within the Viper's soul. The sight of her beloved wife being harmed by the treacherous Desert Queen drives her to the brink of madness. With claws extended and tail thrashing behind her, she vows to bring down those who dare to threaten her happiness.

This was now not just a battle, this was a war. The Viper would stop at nothing to reclaim what was rightfully hers, to bring down those who dared to oppose her. With a fierce determination, she vowed to burn their world to ash, to leave nothing but destruction in her wake. The time for mercy had passed, now was the time for vengeance.

Miaran would unleash a fiery inferno upon this very ground, reducing it to nothing but ash and rubble. With a fierce and relentless fury, the Viper would spare no mercy as she lays waste to all that stands in her path. The very essence of destruction and devastation, the Viper Queen's wrath knows no bounds as it obliterates everything in its wake. Let the flames of the Viper's fury consume all in its path, leaving behind only a smoldering wasteland of chaos and ruin.

There is pain no matter which route she takes. Between the onslaught of Icefang beating her to a pulp and the chaos of the other battles taking place around her, Nyaxia’s head is swimming with panic and confusion and anger. How could one measly cub cause such a ruckus? And why, she has to wonder, does no one else come to her aid? Why doesn’t Harou come to her aid, the way Arkyn had. She’s only vaguely aware that he has successfully fought off the challenger, but now there is something else happening. He is abandoning her. He is choosing to steal a lioness over helping her, and that burns worse than the wounds littering her body. Perhaps it is something to do with politics, but she came all this way to support him and when she is being pinned to the ground, wailed on, he is a ghost.

Maybe she isn’t as special as she had thought. Maybe she means nothing to him. Maybe he would not claim her as a friend in public, embarrassed by her for whatever reason.

There is a new blossom of pain in her chest that she cannot identify, but similarly now there are teeth piercing her ear from the child that had started all of this. Nyaxia snarls as she attempts to twist her head backwards, still on her back on the ground. She attempts to snatch the child in her teeth however she can, hoping to crush a bit of fear into the pipsqueak. She won’t kill her. Even if she wants to.

Ears pinned upon his skull and eyes narrowed to protect them against flying claws, blood and sand. Though it seemed it wasn’t his face he should’ve been worried about as he felt Harou’s claws lash o out and rake down his neck. Snarling in pain his legs almost buckled under him but he somehow managed to stay upright. Even though he was seeing black spots from not just the wounds on his neck but being headbutted. The oasis king was brutal and perhaps Milano was too soft compared. Attempting to show he was taking this seriously and that he wasn’t a pushover. He attempted to reach forward with jaws open. Attempting to bite the man’s face while trying to left his front paws upwards. Claws out he would try to latch onto his shoulders and rake his claws downward. Though he was a bit dizzy himself from pain and blood loss. This would be his last chance to leave his mark in this fight before his energy left him he could feel it.

He arrived swiftly, while her gaze still lingered on the scene, still taking it all in. Briefly, the warrior queen allowed her side to brush against @Haakon. A silent gesture of a shared, growing bond. But it wouldn't last much longer.

Fights drew to a close as she watched Zabrina and Harou tear into each other, and one was all too close. And just like that, something changed. Barely, she registered the words of @Aphrodite ♔ before the fight changed from between two cubs to a lot more involved. Before she could make a decision on where to get involved, her warrior had already made a choice and sought his own claim.

Oh how she wanted to join in on that. But something else had drawn her attention. He hadn't been the only one to seek a target to claim. Very well. Verdant gaze darted across those present. There were a few she'd consider. The girl had fire, but she was grown and could prove difficult. And the boy was young, could be molded. Part of her despised this, the claiming of those who were unable to currently fight for their own freedom. But this was different, not like the passage. They were spoils of war, nothing else. And so, with all four paws firmly planted, the warrior queen roared out her own demand, roared out her own claim for another, for the theft of @Arduinna.

her claws rake into her opponent's skin and brighid tries to keep her weight and violence targeted there, attempting to puncture deep into the flesh and tissue and try to keep them from wriggling away. blood bursts against her tongue as her teeth find purchase in the smaller lioness' forehead. at the same time, brighid is bitten along her slender jaw and as fangs clip and slice the skin there, she hisses as white hot pain radiates down her neck in combination with the strike of her enemy's claws. blood paints the pristine white fur of her chest scarlet, warm and hot as it drips onto the desert sands.

the call for her own theft feeds her ire and the fighter settles for a risky move. brighid braces her sore and slashed hindquarters into the ground. her right forearm raises, forcefully attempting to sling over the cat's shoulders as well to try and bind her in a vicious hug and throw her towards the ground. she feels the teeth at her jaw continue to tear and brighid grits through the pain, her fangs seeking to grab near her opponent's ear and use the force to hopefully press her to submission.

She feels her paws clash into him, but Arkyn turns his face at the last second and disappointingly Icefang only manages to brush past his cheek with her fangs. He speaks, but the fire roaring in her ears muffles him out. From her position, she misses Nikandr's poor attempt to distract the beast and she only assumes that he is giving everything he's got to defend her. A paw wraps around her neck, shoving her down and Icefang does her best to avoid losing the grip that her paws have on his shoulders. She tries to dig her claws in, knowing that as her body swings in an uncomfortable contortion she only has seconds at best before the weight of his limb pushing down forces her onto her back on the sand. When this happens, she dips her chin down to protect her neck, swinging her front limbs at the air defensively in case he attempts to try and harm her while she's exposed.

acerbic blood saturates his mouth, staining his lips in morbid gore. the winter titan's attacks would connect, and harou would hear the sickening smack of flayed flesh rendered by his bite and his headbutt. attempting to tear the other as much as he can, harou would try and sink his fangs deeper and deeper, hoping to wound this male. but already, retaliation comes - the other's claws would come flying outward, jolting like fire along his nerves, sending bleeding gashes down his shoulders. pain erupts, coupled by his other wounds, making the wolf snarl - but harou stands strong, attempting again to reach for the man's neck with salivating fangs in his final assault.

Ooc: Note to remind myself of fight order. - Blaidd -> Aphrodite -> Arduinna -> Reti -> Zinnia -> Helah

IC: 'Heads up' successfully given Reti turned the bulk of his focus to watching out for his own furry butt and attempting to moderate the scuffle between cubs. Claw cuts, bruises - he didn't care if the spawn fought at that level. But no removal of bits on his watch.

The female cub was kicking with her hind limbs and Reti attempted to withdraw his right front leg from between the two children and replace it on the earth. She seemed prepared for the scuffle now, so no reason not to let the kids duke it out.

As he had been on active alert for attackers the incoming grey and white lioness was clocked before impending impact.

Here we go.

A wide smile drew unbidden upon dark lips rows of seasoned ivory unveiled from behind black and bronze lips- defenses retightening while his jaws dropped slightly open.

Reti attempted to pivot towards his new dance partner (@Helah ♔ ) , aiming to use his left foreleg as a pivot and swinging his hind quarters around to bring him hopefully face to face with the attacker.

His hind limbs bent a bit more at the joints sliding into a slightly wider stance shortly before feeling the impact against his left front shoulder. A bruise would blossom beneath his dark fur over the next several minutes - but he hardly felt it over the rush of bubbling adrenaline and budding bloodlust.

Fangs bite into his left shoulder, a hot stabbing flare of fire runs down the matching limb as the punctures are inflicted. In response Reti attempts to turn his head slightly towards his own left and snapped his own jaws at the upper middle right side/back of her neck. He attempts to gain a firm grip on the targeted flesh, his long fangs attempting to snap down with force.

After all...she had gotten a taste ... it was only right he should have one in return.

She is pulled forward the claws in her back sinking deeper, the pain burning brighter as another set of claws sinks in beside them. Her frame is engulfed in the other's brutal hug. In an attempt to save herself, Otter thrashes against her opponent's grasp, claws unsheathed attempting to dig into anything they can reach with no true aim.

With her trashing the pale woman's fangs don't quite reach her ears. Instead, fangs sink into the flesh between her scruff and skull. Pain burns through her and pain blinds her as red seeps into her eye from the wound on her head. Panic starts to rise in her throat and her heart beats against her rib cage like a bird trying to escape. Her jaws part attempting to snap blindly at the other woman as she is thrown to the ground. A panic snarl echoes from her lips.
