The next few moments were a blur – annoyance brewed poignantly within her chest, lurching in @aphrodite’s direction without so much as a second thought, or consideration, or pause. Arduinna was far from maternal, like the shape of @Helah ♔ that mirrored her quick sense of retaliation, but she was protective and, certainly, quite bad at playing nice with others. In her eyes, Harou had been gracious – generous, even – to let Aphrodite go as easily as he had after her attempted abandonment of the pride. But now, Arduinna saw how much the gesture had been appreciated by the caladian queen – which was very little, apparently, considering how brazenly she came to spit upon their sandy doorstep. Tsk tsk.

She noted another figure in her peripheral – a man, @Reti, whom she did not know or recognize – but it was Aphrodite that her focus remained poignantly, and terribly, fixated upon. They came together in a mess of ivory, and ebony, and curled lips within the next breath, lungs heaving as Arduinna’s shoulder made contact with the center of the other woman’s chest, spurring her backwards a step or two. Though her own shoulder throbbed, light bruising forming where bone and flesh had collided, there was little time to think about it – because, of course, Aphrodite’s vengeance was swift.

Seeking to shift her bodyweight to the left as the mass of bodies and violence swirled around their heads, Arduinna snarled as Aphrodite’s teeth found purchase across the right side of her collarbone, opening deep lacerations that were quick to bleed and even quicker to seep anger throughout her veins. At nearly the same time, Aphrodite’s claws swiped forward, catching the flesh of the banshee’s left forelimb and tearing another set of wide and bleeding wounds, there. Arduinna had started off easy, docile even (as much as she could be such a thing) – but the time for temperance was over.

Instincts took over as Arduinna’s body lurched again, teeth flashing and her jaws unhinged as she attempted to reach forward and snap her teeth into Aphrodite’s right ear, hoping to snag or tear at the delicate skin. At the same time, her left forelimb – now fervently bleeding from the wounds that had just been inflicted by her opponent – would raise, jutting out with unsheathed claws as she attempted to hook them into Aphrodite’s right ankle and pull her closer, back in Arduinna’s direction. She wanted to keep this close, and personal – because it was.

And if this was hell, let Arduinna be the reaper who would chain Aphrodite to its depths.

He had also left Amaryllis? A sudden explosion of questions erupted forth in her mind. Greedy for every detail. He beats her to it however and she knows exactly what it is she wants to tell him. A marvel of a thing! Truly!

Once again she is beat to speaking as a woman approaches. Speaking so casually to @Aspen. By his greeting of her, she is his mother and Lúllia grins up in @Olive's direction. She can sense the tease within the adult's tone, this prompting the girl to elbow the boy playfully. You never told me you were a prince! Brows giving a little dance.

Lúllia Savante. It's nice to meet you. A beaming introduction to tack onto what her friend already said. My daddy is King in the Hollows. Thus making her Royalty as well. I also just got back from an adventure. Eyes widen as they turn back to Aspen. Oh yeah! So we saw this suuuuuper bug mountain! And the locals called it a volcano. We couldn't get close at all cuz it was oozing this glowy stuff. Everyone told us it was super hot. Melt you up in a mere second. Bones and all! Apparently a piece of the sun fell there a long long time ago. And it tries going back to the sky sometimes. Even from a distance it smelled terrible. Baby blue's squint skyward for a moment. Thankful the sun was so far away if it smelled that bad. What about you?! Lú chirps as attention comes back to fly between Olive and her son.

They were a tangle of bodies, snarling flesh and clashing masses. But she went overall ignored in the fray, the adults focusing on each other rather than her. Sting scruff was a constant reminder that she would be bruised and hurt in the morning, but for right now the girl was learning the value of pride and friendship. Both of those things being why she did not fight alone, why she had support, why she wasn't permitted to fail the declaration of betterment over her enemy. The cub would shake herself off, her hind paws pushing from the ground as she tried to grab Nyaxia's ear between her jaws.

The Monster

The monster snarls down at her his limb between her teeth bleeding but she is still trapped on the ground. She is still stuck under him at his mercy. His pink gaze lingers on her throat, his jaws parting for a moment as his breath draws in the scent of blood, desert, and ocean. How easily he could end her, how easily he could snuff the life from her eyes. But he doesn't, instead, he snarls again applying more pressure onto her muzzle in one final warning, for her to yield to him.

"Flor de mar" Sea flower he purrs looking down at her and waiting for her to accept her fate.

"Yield" his tone shifts turning harsh and cold.

fights break out all around him, a carnage painted in blood. father has managed to secure the desert, but more chaos ensues. arawn is waiting eagerly by the sidelines, pacing restlessly; when the call for his mother goes up and this sets off arawn. vehemence quickly ignites, his blood boiling as he sets forth to launch at the one who dared claim for his mother. attempting to rush head long, the young male would attempt to tackle Haakon by rushing forward and slamming his right shoulder squarely into haakon's chest. simultaneously, arawn would open his jaws wide, attempting to sink his fangs into the pale man's neck.

the man bites at his chest, drawing thick rivulets of blood upon their brawny surface; more wounds to collect. a guttural sound leaves harou's mouth, vibrant carmine eyes flashing murderously; skin them all alive. then he hears a call for brighid go up and this only amplifies the beast's vehement mood, his bloodied jaws twisting with manic hunger while another assailant launches for brighid. lunging forward once more, harou would attempt to bash in milano by trying to headbutt his forehead into the man's pathetic face. simultaneously, harou would lift a muscled forelimb, attempting to rake his nails down milano's neck, trying to shred the meat there.

Elsewhere fights rose out of the dusk like fireworks burning, violence to obscure the stars. Her right ear pinned but the left felt like fire, the delicate skin around the base still burning and a literal blood rush swamping her ear canal; despite her ability to wrench her attacker's head away, the pain remained. A new pain sallied in: a dangerous and breathy clamp around the wrist of her left paw, and she reflexively curled her claws and tried to reach them toward lips and gums as her paw was dragged down and away from her. Her shoulders scrunched as though to prematurely turtle against the further damage she expected to her wrist, more than the pinpoints of punctures oozing at present. She was always calm and cool until she wasn't and she felt the wasn't pressing in. Her right shoulder ached deeper than the rest of her, a pain nearly necrotic, threatening her entire right limb with weakness. Just the pressure from her opponent stabilizing herself with that grip point felt like another whole ass misery. If oozing blood were tears, her eyes would still have more, though from their corners they were clear and her shoulder dripped with renewed red. Sarsaparilla snarled as she attempted to move herself backward, slackening her jaw grip on the chest with the aim to slash and release. Hindquarters spread and plopped to the sand. Inelegant, and a terrible position, but a temporary stopgap against the threat of being toppled.

Would anyone notice, in the folly of war, if she begged for mercy?

It doesn't take long for his bait to be taken, and a young - but big - male launches himself across the sand toward Haakon. Why are they always so big?

The white lion braces himself, preparing for the impact rather than running to avoid it. He throws his right shoulder forward, angling his body behind it. His jaws hang open as Arawn smashes into his shoulder, and pain blooms hot at the place they collide and he gets shoved back a few inches in the sand. Haakon ducks his head and attempts to bite into Arawn's neck while the brute's teeth bite into the upper side of his neck, digging into meat and fat. Haakon's left paw lifts and attempts to hook his claws into the back of Arawn's right foreleg, roughly around the armpit.

The Andal king keeps his throne and Levana eyes he many battles around her, she stands up as she sees a few unfamiliar faces but the markings and coats look too similar to not be her family, she nudges @Karsa gently, barely moving her chin towards @Lúllia,"I apologize fir not knowing any of my younger family, but she is Savante?" Her emerald gaze stays on the yearling, as a mother, there is so much fighting, so many claims for others that it worries her.

"Let's move closer to her, just in case." She whispers to Karsa before she makes her move, jogging to get close to the yearling, she bows her head gently and smiles, "Hello there." She moves to sit a few feet away, now sitting back on her haunches, looking relaxed but if one were to pay attention, her muscles were bunched, ready to jump up if needed.

tension unfurls, the bruising evident as contact is made by the two males. they collide in a blur of fangs and weapons, blood slipping from arawn's new wounds, as crimson rivulets bead his flesh. a grisly snarl erupts from arawn's mouth, his jaws salivating as he attempts to bury his teeth deeper into the other man's neck. his own neck is wounded, sharp pinpricks that entice the nerves, goading the beast to a further frenzy. he also feels his opponent's claws shredding along his armpit, causing more blood to trickle down, but arawn would pull free. surging forward in retaliation, arawn would attempt to smash his forehead into haakon's face. simultaneously, his free paw comes up, attempting to rake down the pale man's eyes. piece by piece, arawn attempts to tear his opponent apart.
