Body comes to a halt once his hit was successful, watching the woman be thrown onto her side. Lips peel back into a snarl, about to charge once more, before he feels a presence behind him. Arkyn has no time to react, the feeling of teeth and claw digging into his thigh painful. He releases a roar as a hind leg attempts to lift and kick in the direction of the other, trying to dig his claws into any part of the lion that he was able to reach.

Movement catches his attention in front of him then, and he braces himself for the white lioness's attacks. Claws gouge into his shoulders but he is quick to throw his head to the side, het teeth only grazing his right cheek. The Viking cannot help but release a bellowing laugh at their attempts to subdue him, instead spurring him on. "How cute, you two thinking you can take me on," deep voice drawls as he acts quickly, right forelimb rising and attempting to wrap around the woman's neck, attempting to use his weight to push her down toward the ground. "Does Vermeda have no honor in fighting their battles alone?" Jaws snap toward the woman's head, attempting to collect in ear between bloodstained teeth.

His attack lands true and Nikandr attempts to dig deep - but then the man's other hind leg lifts, kicking back at him. He winces, slamming his eyes shut and taking the brunt of the attack long the side of his maneless neck and shoulder. The impact will no doubt bruise him as well as unzipping the flesh in a deep laceration that blood slowly wells from. He groans, though has no intention of releasing the hold he has. He knows he has no chance of winning against this fucking giant of a beast - but he knows he needs to assist for a number of reasons.

Plus, it's just a little bit fun.

Arkyn's comment has his lips twisting into a wicked smirk. You think I'm cute? He purrs around the grasp, leaning his weight onto his haunches. How nice. His twinkling eyes betray the fact that this is very unserious for him - even as he attempts to jerk back against the behemoth's leg like a dog playing tug-of-war. The Law boy is doing his best to distract or at least slightly unstable the Viking. Or maybe just take a little chunk of flesh, if he's lucky.

He sat there watching and listening to the chatter around him and just shrugged his shoulders when asked what he knew of the two toned lioness. "I don’t know her really just crossed paths with her at the falls when I was out exploring." He confessed. It wasn’t that deep he just remembered seeing her before because of her pretty and interesting looking coat. Looking away from the fighting he saw the cub and smiled at her but before he could really do much a fight started. One that wasn’t fair as Aphrodite jumped into. Sighing he shook his head. "Are these things actually crazy like this all the time?" He questioned to anyone who was close enough to hear him.

Though as he tried to watch the fight with his queen and the kids the main event finished. It was after the defender had finished his fight and issued a challenge of his own that Milano sprung to his paws. Eyes narrowed and ears back. He lashed out behind him with his tail as he lowered his head to align it with his spine. Chin tucking protectively over his throat as he attempted to surge forward. "You shall NOT have my Queen." He snarled as he attempted to reach forward slightly from the left side but head on and tried to swing his claws at the lion’s face.

when harou reigns victorious over the would-be chimeric usurper, brighid snarls her praises out to the heavens. the twilight embraces the dunes, the blood, the fray, and the clash of teeth and claws all around her. this has erupted into something chaotic and brighid's attention lashes over to the familiar form of aphrodite and others fighting with helah and harou's spawn between them. even dear @Arduinna has been stirred into action drawing blood and brighid has never felt prouder.

however, its too late to barter peace now and brighid's lip peels back, threatening to snap. hadn't she warned harou to punish the wench? she was not obedient. it bred undesirable behavior and this was unacceptable. when the king unleashes a call for the cove sovereign, brighid's chin tilts high and she spares a laugh. petite and haughty, a sound to charm the masses - or one to send a shiver down the spine of those that knew her wrath.

quickly, someone reacts. you will not have our queen! and brighid knows her target. he charges for harou and the wintry empress soars to their direction. she approaches from milano's right side closest to their flank and attempts an attack, raising her left paw and trying to slash over their hip with razor sharp claws, almost as if she were attempting to take down a game animal.

blood smears his fur, and the wounds begin to flow freely down his flesh. still, he stands upon all fours, bristling with wrath and fury, hearing as his challenge is met with the cry of a would-be protector. already, as the man @Milano raises his voice, harou can see the charging form of @Brighid, also drawn to the commotion like a shark to blood. harou would attempt to move to face the charging man, just as his opponent's weapons catches the winter titan's cheekbones. more blood gathers to the floor, and harou would attempt to surge forth still, and try and grab milano anywhere he can - attempting to aim specifically for the other's neck.

She watches as the challenges evolve into something more chaotic. Different fights bloom like wildflowers over the desert sand and Otter watches both amazed and focused. She'd never been a warrior but fights intrigued her. Part of her knew she should be training more combat but another wanted to laze in the sun.

Her gaze sweeps the crowd causing her to lose track of the main event. Only @Harou ♔'s sudden call snaps back her attention to the man who is now calling for a new fight. A fight for someone's freedom, a fight for the cove queen.

Neeha is thrilled by the sound. If he can take her it will weaken the cove, If he can take her the future becomes just a bit clearer. But Otter is mortified and confused. The Oasis are their allies, they are supposed to be friends so why? Why would he call for Aphrodite?

The assassin lays there hidden observing until a voice breaks her focus and her gaze snaps to the clay-colored man. His words alone are enough for her to know he is of the cove but his scent only proves her thoughts. Sand and seawater, the ocean's breath clings to him. He'd defend their queen and Otter watches satisfied with the idea though he looks young and the Oasis king is far from.

However when a pale woman launches herself into the fight Otter's frame tense, two against one. Both older and more experienced a doomed fight. Otter watches and then she moves.

Why? Why would she interfere? She shouldn't yet she does.

She carefully moves forward from her hiding spot ears pressed to her skull and chin dropped to protect her neck. In the beginning, keeping low and movements controlled in an attempt of remaining undetected until that last fated moment. Then she launched herself forward through those last paces of sand hoping that Milano had fully distracted Brighid to her approach. Otter would attempt to dig all of her front claws into the pale woman's rump. Not to hold but in an attempt to drag them downwards, either over her butt or thighs.

Phew, so far so good.

Everyone else seemed too busy - either squabbling or watching - to notice him in his little hidey-hole. For now, his attempts to keep himself concealed were working. Battles were erupting in every corner, and while something in Ilarion itched to join in.... well, it would cause more hassle than it was worth. He had no stakes in this. Besides, just as quickly as things had begun to hot up, it was all over. The man stood victorious; the chimera lioness had put up a valiant attempt, in the Rurik's opinion, but it just hadn't been enough. Such was life, and the way of things here. Harou made it clear that he would not entertain the visitors any further, and the Rurik smiled to himself. He didn't have to be told twice. From his hiding spot, Ilarion would turn on his heel and head back - swiftly - towards the border. He didn't need to stick around to see how the challenger would be punished by the existing tenants....

He wasn’t worried about getting hurt for he knew it was going to happen. He had been impulsive but that was just his nature. Milano had also been a bit naive to think that maybe the desert folk were honorable enough to keep things as a fair fight but soon learned otherwise as he felt the pale lady’s presence as her claws rake over his right hip drawing blood and making him flinch. He had been focused with narrowed eyes expecting an attack from just the male that he was distracted for a second. He soon refocused as he felt fangs sink into the scruff of his neck. Snarling from the pain he attempted to reach forward and tried to bite Harou’s chest while attempting to kick out behind him attempting to kick Brighid anywhere possibly in his reach with his hind claws. Mostly trying to kick up sand and put space between him and the lioness as Neeha made herself in the fight known.

It was only by some tiny (and we mean tiny) shred of luck that she happened to be passing through when she noticed the commotion. Wandering a bit closer to the outside edge of the Oasis' borders when she noticed the chaos. Lions that were fighting one another for various reasons and while Juliette was not usually one to stick her nose where it doesn't belong, she did linger on the outside to at least try and pencil in what might have caused this. There was no obvious answer given that there were multiple pride scents at play here but given time she was certain that it would become obvious.

Relief exists as a breathless partition in time. The removal of fangs from her neck elicited such a rush of joy that she could not grasp her emotions. Pink eyes in merriment flashed and rolled for one ecstatic vision before succumbing again to mostly lidded darkness. Her fangs sunk into chest fur. The anonymous scent of blood obscured the arrogant status of rogue. Without a pride, what was a lioness except fresh meat?

She attempted to twist her jaws to worsen the pain and squeeze further pain from this fortunate soul. Fangs intended for her left ear cut instead across the thin fur at its base, a thick and abrasive slash already tingling with saliva and sand. Her claws curdled as pain in her right shoulder worsened and more blood spilled out, nearly ticklish. With a muffled snarl she tried to reach awkwardly up with her left paw to try to wrench the other's head away, forced to suffer the continued claws in her right shoulder for the present.
