He can feel his hind paw seek purchase on flesh, but whether or not it would leave a deep wound or not was unknown to Arkyn. A scoff leaves him at the younger lion's words, fighting the urge to allow for his eyes to roll fully back into their sockets. The tugging of his leg is felt as fangs dig in deeper, blood spilling from the lacerations created and running down the expanse of his hindleg. The pain was deep, one he knew would give him a limp while it healed, and perhaps the lightest of scars.

He is able to push the white woman down to the ground and his teeth bite into an ear, Arkyn attempting to jerk back on it, only to release when he feels the pressure of claws digging deeper into his shoulders before she releases while falling onto her back. He tries to keep himself away from flailing limbs as best as he could, her claws snagging into his thick mane and pulling some of it out with roughness, tiny jolts of electricity causing for him to snarl. "You look pathetic," he sneers while rising a forepaw, attempting to swipe it toward her face - he'd be happy with whatever it caught.

His attacking does nothing to the burly bastard and Nikandr is starting to feel like a child with a playtoy. Frustration gnaws at him and he jerks back from his hold, relinquishing it entirely with a grunt. The other man didn't even try to attack him. And, truly, the boy is impressed; despite his attempts to stop Arkyn, the dude didn't even blink. It did chafe just a bit, however. And a heartbeat later, he coils his haunches and launches himself upwards. His extended forepaws aim to try to dig claws into either hip and his open jaws attempt to drop down to snap at the base of the beast's spine. Maybe this would be enough to at least make him twitch. Dusk set upon the valley and Luther Rike set off to return in his unpleasant new home. The challenging call had not reached him. He'd been too far away to hear it, perhaps entertaining one of his whores or relaxing in a far cooler corner of Amaryllis. During the day he sought reprieve away from Oasis, the furthest the better.

When dry dirt gave way to soft sand and Harou's borders began to come into view, Luther's nose alluded him to something gone awfully wrong. Very wrong. Because among the usual Andal scents that he was accustomed to catching on the dry air, among the sand that flew in his nose and choked him from inside out, Luther different scents of different allegiances. Fuck. His heart skipped faster now, and his walk became more of a brisk jog, face contorting in an unseemly manner. He followed the scents until the familiar sound of battle forced him to sprint in the shifting grains beneath despite the protest of his still-healing leg.

He arrives to bodies crashing into each other, the scent of Caladan and Vermeda among Andal stronger than the rest. Panting, the snaggle-toothed beast looked from face to face, narrowed green eyes trying to make out familiar faces. He could see @Harou ♔ and @Icefang ♔ engaging in their own fights, @Drena just leaping into her own fight. Drena. Wait -

Drena?

His eyes immediately scoured the younger shapes, trying to find his sons in the fray. If Drena was fighting, then they are alone. Alone in the fray and prime for scooping. He grit his teeth after a few seconds of not finding them until he recognizes their shapes seated among the spectators. If there was really any defined line between spectators and fighters.

Luther made a beeline for them, avoiding any claws and teeth that may accidentally land him in comatose. "Bleiben Sie dran – wenn Sie kämpfen, stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie gewinnen." "Stay put - if you fight, make sure to win." he commanded while looming behind @Vice and @Kjartan, intense eyes trying to figure out what was going on in the clusterfuck before him. Was this a challenge? If it was, he'd missed the main show for Harou was fighting in a group. Or perhaps a war? Icefang was here, but the Scillan forces were sparse. In fact, Caladan was far more prevalent. He didn't know much about the Cove if anything. It was shrouded in mystery, and he did not like mysteries. His eyes suddenly fell onto @Valentine, sitting alone. He called out to her, ushering her to come stand by his side.

Her attention was solely on the woman who was attacking her. The boy had been forgotten and therefore so was Zinnia, until that scream. A growl erupted from her throat as her jaws filled with the taste of iron as she gained a grip and the claws that dug into flesh down her leg. But as she heard @Zinnia's scream of pain Aphrodite would attempt to rip the flesh from @Arduinna's throat in order to look over towards the young child. Did that even matter though when she felt the claws digging into her ankle.

The snap to her ear was barely there. She felt the tear, a tear that would be there permanently. The blood trickled down the back side of her ear as she growled and would not fight when she felt the claws dig into it and pull. Aphrodite moved with it and would attempt to snap her jaws at the woman's left cheek. Even placing her paw back on the ground, blood dripping and pooling beneath it. The fire was in burning in her soul. In her bones and she was going to drag this woman to hell with her.

It’s a quick, rapid exchange of claws and teeth, too brutal and too hurried to entirely make sense of. Haakon feels just for an instant delicate skin between his fangs, between the throbbing pain of the impact, and just as suddenly it's gone. Claws shred the boy’s face, but he cannot spare a moment to check no true damage is done - the viking isn’t here to maim, or kill, and taking an eye in the heat of the moment would be a stain against his honour. A few scars from battle is one thing, desirable even, but permanent damage? This is just a boy - albeit, a big one. What sort of warrior is he if he inflicts that?

Arawn yanks backwards and just as quickly, comes for Haakon’s throat.

It’s clear not everyone feels the same.

Haakon’s open jaws are waiting - attempting to collide with the boy’s muzzle once again, while the paw that had just been ripping into his face attempts to slam into Arawn’s cheek to try to push it away entirely. This fight is over, and Haakon does not intent to lose his throat for any lioness.

The ghostly Viper, lost in the chaos around her, felt a surge of adrenaline as someone charged towards her with reckless abandon. In a split second, Miaran twisted and tried to dodged, but she couldn't escape the sharp claws that tore into her skin. With ears flat against her head and eyes filled with rage, she felt the searing pain of fangs sinking into her shoulder as she felt skin tear, igniting a fire within her.

Fueled by anger, Miaran lashed out, her muscles coiled with tension as she aimed to defend herself against the smaller lioness. With a fierce determination, she attempted to kicked out with a back leg at Noemi and snapped her jaws, ready to strike back at her assailant. But before she could fully retaliate, another attacker lunged at her, his powerful blow landing hard against her head.

Caught off guard and outnumbered, Miaran fought with all her might, her claws attempted at slashing out towards George's vulnerable neck as she retaliated. In that moment, Miaran was consumed by a primal fury, a wild and untamable force that drove her to fight with every ounce of her being. The odds may have been stacked against her, but she refused to back down, her heart pounding with the fire of a warrior in the heat of battle.

The screams, the sounds, and the chaos all faded into the background as the two women continued in their bloody dance, teeth flashing despite the waning sense of adrenaline that began to seep across Arduinna’s bones. She knew that the others could fend for themselves, that they would all be victorious (if not today, then the next when they sought retribution for these sins) – there was no sliver of hesitation nor doubt in her mind. Not now. Not ever.

The beast snarled, then, the sound bubbling from her chest as @Aphrodite ♔ was quick to yank her jaws backwards and away, tearing the flesh from Arduinna’s collarbone in a messy, damaged array of ivory fur and crimson paint. The pain, though excruciating, was simply fuel to their little spat, however – though the darkness pooling in the edges of her gaze was enough to denote the fact that this was far more than harmless ego. This was personal, in one way or another – and she would be damned to let herself falter now.

Much to her satisfaction, Arduinna was successful in her own set of endeavors, teeth slicing through the tender width of her opponent’s ear, while her claws curled dangerously around that ebony ankle, tugging, drawing, forcing Aphrodite forward and into the awaiting mouth of teeth and fury. Those tiny victories were not without sacrifice, however, because it was within the next breath that she saw another spur of Aphrodite’s fangs, eyes flashing just as they landed into the plush of her left cheek, sinking deeply into her flesh and tainting the once-pristine complexion is splatters of red. Knowing that this would be coming to an end soon enough, Arduinna leaned into the other’s attack, untempered as she sought to make a final move – and from there, the chips would fall as they may. And so, it was without pause that she attempted to snap her jaws towards the lower portion of Aphrodite’s left cheek, closer to her jawline, in the hopes of securing a hold and mirroring the violent, bloody kiss that had been bestowed upon herself.

It was a mistake easily corrected, and then moved past, and the little signs of irritation still lingering in his body language smoothed back out and disappeared in the wake of the apology. He'd choose to ignore the way the guy looked him over beforehand.

Mostly, his gaze remained on the various fights, darting more and more as new ones kept cropping up. Such a violent bunch. Or maybe emotions were just high? Zaahir shrugged one shoulder, "Yeah, but I'm used to it. I came from a place pretty similar, and I head to greener places if I need a change of scenery." Or water. Or more substantial food. He was learning hunting for just himself, all by himself, was a little more challenging than hunting in a group, but he'd been managing.

Brows raised at the results of the main event became more clear, "Ah, looks like you won't have to worry about finding a new home after all." The dark male would keep his throne, though it seemed he wasn't finished, turning and calling for another fight which was quickly answered.

The other scuffles he'd been tracking more closely seemed to be reaching their ends, as well. It was getting more difficult to keep track of the chaos with all the new fights, though, and he could feel himself teetering on the edge of 'too much stuff happening' which inevitably led to sudden disinterest in everything.

Noemi was soon not alone in her assault of the woman; joined by another of the Oasis in defense of one of their own… yada yada all the feel good things. She didn’t care why the large male was there, but she was at least a little grateful for the help. Unless, of course, he was participating for the same reasons as she, in which case… fuck him. This was her time for recognition.

He mimicked her advances on the woman’s other side, a nice little two pronged approach to keep her guessing which to focus her efforts on. Fangs found purchase on her shoulder and Noemi hung on tight until a hind paw began to hack at her stomach. Jaws snapped just short of her snout as the distraction finally kicked in. While the woman’s head was turned, Noemi attempted to take advantage of those spare seconds and hop up fully onto the woman’s back.

Good, she didn't have to wait too long. How irritating that would have been. What came barreling towards her was a boy. A really big one, sure, but still a boy. No matter. Blazing verdant gaze closed briefly when the massive dark form crashed into her, but she refused to be moved. Paws firmly planted against the ground as she pushed against his force, regardless of the claws digging into her shoulder. The faint trickle of crimson on pale fur was all she needed.

She was smaller than he was, but she wouldn't let him underestimate her. With a snarl, she shifted, twisting her body to crash into his front, fangs snapping viciously as she aimed her attack at his throat. No matter who would win this day, she would ensure he would leave with marks as well. Claws aimed vicious strikes at his side, seeking to rip into anything she could reach.

Rip and tear. Kill kill kill. The sweet song of blood and battle slowly drowned out everything except instinct. Even a nearing familiar scent only reached her through a haze. But it was enough to stoke the flame. The Valkyrie had waited for this, for a chance to make that bitch bleed again. Fangs snapped at her tail, but she moved. A hindleg kicked out, unsheathed claws seeking to rip into anything she could reach of the larger woman. Though she did hope for hitting her face, even with kicking out blindly.
