August Y12
Summer
The summer season has finally reached its peak. The sunshine is plentiful, the days are long and the air is hot and humid - but the evenings do not seem to provide the same relief that they once had, and remain somewhat stuffy. Thunderstorms have also began appearing more frequently, particularly in the rainforest and eastern region, though the rain is welcomed after a relatively dry season thus far.

She searched and found another Yule log not too far off from the one that she had found prior with the green gemstone. She would approach, knowing that there was no need to get her hopes up. A lot of these logs seemed to have essentially nothing in them. She would break the log, and there was nothing within. She moved away from the empty log and began her search for the next one. It didn't take her very long, and she would find one beside another old pile of bones. She would break it, hoping to find something inside.

That one was filled only with disappointment, and it was soon discarded as it became clear there was nothing worthwhile hidden within. Not even an insect. Sébastien would take a moment to check on his pile of small trinkets and, finding it still in place, would then turn his attention back to the hunt and the hope of more favorable luck. Soon, another log was found and by now he had the process of freeing whatever may (or may not) be concealed inside down to a simple matter of rolling the thing in the right way so as to quickly dislodge any waiting prize.

This time as the desert witch broke the yule log, a beautiful sapphire gem revealed itself. She couldn’t help but smile a little and feel rather pleased about the outcome. Carefully she would place the beautiful blue gemstone within her new satchel, her tail twitching slightly with joy and glee. Then she would move on her way to search to find the next possible treasure. Carefully she would scavenge through the sim boneyard, finding one beside another dead tree. She would move closer and break the log open once more, hoping that she would get lucky and find another colorful gem to add to her new collection.

The large dappled lioness would break the log open with her pale paws. She would look at the broken pieces curiously, her tail twitching as she did so. Then she would search through the broken bark and wood. This time, the prize was a little different. It was a stone but it was not as glossy and shimmery as the others. Instead it was more matte and had a deep black color. She didn’t mind though, she was rather pleased with her discovery. Azula would place the dark stone into her satchel with care, and then she would step away and search for the next yule log.

With all said and done, Ana felt as though she had gotten everything that she needed from the logs that were present. Casting the logs that she had opened to the side so that no one would think there was something in them and try to open it to find nothing. She did not wish to be unintentionally cruel and made them appear as uninteresting as possible. Bowing her head and dipping out as casually as she could, weaving her way through the sandy ground and around a littering of bone piles in an effort to get back to the Cove with the trinkets that she had discovered here. exit analia.

This time around there wasn't anyone explicitly here from the Hollows or at least any that paid him any mind. So he was happy to jump around trying to find all the logs that he could and bring them into the light for anyone else to partake in. Maybe it might make the trip a little easier for those that didn't want to go on a dramatic hunt. Once he had pulled a few out he made it his mission to find and locate a way to get all of his new gifts homeward and when he did, you bet he trucked them out of there like he was an extra in a fast and furious movie. exit cosmin

Just as before the young boy began to move all that he had earned into one of the empty log that he had cracked open. Leaving a few of his goodies to be had if anyone even noticed that he set some aside. Guelle was not greedy and knew that he did not need everything single item that he had found within the logs. Someone would appreciate them far more than he. So he shuffled his things into the log and began to wander away from the boneyard. Giddy to get back homeward and begin really going through his precious items and finding their perfect place. exit guelle.

With all said and done, Chaeton figured it was time to leave. Most everyone had already scattered and he had watched each of them take on the logs. If anything, he was curious as to if these were similar to the pumpkins and might explode on folks but so far, it just seemed that it was either empty or filled with goods. So he was happy to leave on the prospect of knowing that everyone had been met with something nice rather than forced to take a really long bath in an effort to get things out of their fur. exit chaeton
