Galaxia had trailed after those of the Cove, following the scents of @Keligan, @Lagertha and @ Sabran. The dark pelted twin tail was quiet as she followed the group, making her way towards the desert territory of Andal. Though the girl held no earthly clue what this pride was about, she did know that it would be a good way of gathering information for her parents when they inevitably arrived.

Coming close to where the other members of Caladan were, the young feline came to a stop and spoke quietly. ""Who...do we want to win?"" For truthfully she wasn't sure if either side was a set ally or if this was merely a spectator sport. Of course she also made sure that she was well clear of any borders that might get them into trouble if she crossed any.""

Now there was an interesting call. Typically, Arcania didn't give the slightest fuck about pride challenges unless they were for the pride she was currently in at that moment, and even then she had been known to simply not show up, or to show up in secret so no one knew she was there. She likely would have ignored this one as well had it not been for the fact that Helah was the one calling for it.

Now, what the woman wanted with a desert Arcania had no clue, but she would certainly come and watch the chaos unfold. Of course, by the time she got there it seemed it was already unfolding, as one of the Oasis lionesses lunged for the young Bluffs lioness, not even a yearling and yet...

Arcania scoffed, circling the fight, looking for some sort of opening. She was sure the rest of the Bluffs would be along shortly, and it simply wouldn't do to appear to care, even though, truth be told, she didn't particularly. The child wasn't hers, after all.

There was a lot of tension, things still hadn't quite settled in the Cove just yet. Sunder was sure that the others could probably feel it palpable in the air but Sunder was doing her best to simply just coexist with Keligan and @Kvare. Her love for both men made things complicated, but Keligan was no saint either. When a call towards Andal rang about Sunder would move from her family den and slowly make her way towards it. She was curious if she would be here, @Caltáriel. Sunder already made the decision to not make herself known tonight. She'd try her very best to remain hidden and observe; considering it was one of the things she had always been good at it would only come second nature to the muddied lioness. Thankfully there was a small stream on the way to Andal, Sunder took the opportunity to cover herself in mud and sand. Coating it all across her legs and chest, lowering herself to roll in the substance so it covered her back and even going as far as dotting some along her cheekbones. She worked to make sure her scent was as masked as possible so that all that remained was a natural musk that smelled of bog and saltwater. She could smell Keligan on the wind heading towards Andal and knew he'd be present. Sunder moved to avoid him though, instead taking up her own positioning opposite of him and the women flanked near him - @Lagertha, @Sabran, and @Galaxia. It was easier to keep an eye on everyone when she wasn't directly next to them so decidedly Sunder would find a low area of shrubbery outside the borders of Andal, her gaze narrowed to land upon @Helah as she waited for the ruler of the Oasis to arrive. For once Sunder was early to a pride challenge and she looked forward to sitting back and watching it all unfold before her. *Sunder is attempting to remain hidden! This would be Io's first public event in her life, well after the one of her big family. But other than that this would be her first one of this sort. One of war and challenges, of fighting amongst lions. She lacked the strength and knowledge to be a fighter but she was still capable of helping in other ways..but in what? No way of knowing but she still went forward to at least support by watching, of course, she didn't go too far to cross over the borders of the other pride, a pride she had no knowledge about.

Eyes of pink and purple narrow and analyze the situation, which was by no means just any nuisance, this easily could become a big thing that could change the world or at least their tiny one.

Well, she supposed if a lioness of the Bluffs was going to challenge for a pride, she ought to go watch. It was likely expected that they would attend to cheer her on, or something like that. Best to be seen supporting her new home, if that was going to be the case.

So Dysnomia descended from the Bluffs and followed the trail out to the desert. By the time she got there, the main event had not yet started, but to her dull horror she saw the girl who had welcomed her to the Bluffs being attacked by a lioness of the Oasis. Another scarlet lioness was already circling like a shark, so Dysnomia stood back a bit, waiting to see what would happen and if there was some way for her to assist without getting in the way or otherwise causing more problems.

Another challenge, so soon.

Caltáriel felt bad for the Boy King, for however hard he tried, he kept encountering hard stops in his journey through leadership. Perhaps it is what made her content that she would never ascend to such an important role, content to offer her skills for their benefit and to live peacefully within their hallowed halls. Her life were easy here like it were in the Summit, and she'd been so busy with her duties that even Lucanus' increasing absences made her less frantic. Yet—she couldn't shake the feeling that it had been a long time since she had seen him, and wondered if the call for the Oasis would be enough to draw him out of the Hollows.

Such selfish thinking, she chided herself, finding her way to the challenge. Already had lions begun to gather, some lingering beyond the borders and others well within the pridelands. She'd not caught the sight of @Keligan in the near distance, his lumbering form safely flanked by his comrades and melting into the distant sands. Rather, Caltáriel's wide and curious gaze was on the challenger herself, and then onto @Léonie as she threw herself into the fray against a near-adolescent. Her lips curved into a frown, nervous at such brutal actions against a mere child but understanding them nonetheless. The last challenge here had been brutal, and could very likely have killed any Andal, let alone their king. She'd no right to judge the Heiress for her fury.

But Caltáriel was far more peaceful, and made her way toward the familiar @Walpurgis, the only other Oasis lion that had heeded the call just yet. The Lead Fighter had far more energy and spunk than the soft Greyflood, but she giggled at her comments upon her arrival. At least she isn't waking us up from our sleep, she commented, though she were just as frustrated at Helah as she were at Cirilla. How rude.

Oh my, how chaotic these lands were and how dynamic these lions seemed to hold their lives. Kristen, being the newcomer that she was, lacked knowledge of these lions, their pasts, and the reasons behind such carnage. But that didn't mean it didn't entertain her; it intrigued her to watch such fights for the mere wish to rule, to dominate above the rest. For those who didn't know her, she would appear to be a sweet and kind lady with a heart of gold. But no, she was not any of that within the fake expressions of care and serenity. She was a viper hidden in the outfit of a lamb or an angel. Someone lost in the wrong place, and thus she came to watch with a fake yet well-practiced face of confusion and of being unaware of where she had come from. The wheat lioness took a seat on the sand, doing so away from the borders but close enough to watch. She didn't want to cause harm to her if it wasn't needed or wanted; she liked chaos but not so much when she was a participant in it.

Amara knew the day would come that Helah would take a pride. She didn't think it would be now so the call caught her off guard a bit but she smirked as she heard where it was coming from. At least Helah had the mind to go for an enemy pride and make things as simple as possible. If she won, it would make for some grand prisoners and if she lost, it wasn't like it would make things any worse. She knew there would be some side fighting, that would be part of it and she would deal with that as she needed to.

It had been awhile since she had been to the oasis, not since Ryker was there but it didn't look like much had changed really. She caught the sight of Helah, who looked as ready as she could be. She was sure that he was nearby and the fight for the pride would start soon enough. She saw sight of @Faustine and started to call to her, to bring her closer to her but she was spotted first by a full grown lioness. Amara snarled and raced forward. DON'T TOUCH THAT CUB!! She roared as she moved in. FIGHT FAIR OR DON'T FIGHT AT ALL!!! COWARD!!! Wars and enemies didn't give anyone the right to attack those who were as young as it was clear her granddaughter was. Anyone looking would learn that they shouldn't be touching her kin. Ever.

She snarled as she started her attack against @Léonie's on the lioness's left. She was T'd up with the lioness, her golden gaze locked on the lioness as she attempted to bite down on the top of Léonie's shoulder blade while her body attempted to crash into the lioness from the side. Her granddaughter should get the hint to get the fuck out of here and get back home. This wasn't a place even for the older young ones.

Andal Oasis.

Apollinaire had shed plenty of Miroslav blood on the sandy dunes, and it was no wonder that @Helah had chosen the Oasis pride as her target. While he had not been as involved within the politics as of late ( being a father was truly a wonderful thing, was it not? ) he'd now taken it upon himself to follow his most inquisitive daughter @Faustine the moment she departed from her Bluffs homeland.

There was a sort of excitement buzzing in the back of his mind, visible on the forefront of his facial features. His expression was always smug, but today it was laced with a hint of bloodthirst. His hunger had not dulled these past few months, but with his children came a new sort of duty. Protecting them - the future of his kin - was of utmost priority.

And so he follows, slender limbs taking the well-groomed warmonger toward their neighbor, wondering what he will witness upon arrival. Amaryllis had been too quiet as of late, and Apollinaire found silence simply drab. He slid next to Faustine's growing shape, seeking to press into her flank as they stood in front of the border. Weren't they just courteous?

But it seemed like regardless of their place outside the border, they would not go without a fight. @Léonie's charging form kicked sand behind her and Apollinaire spotted her. "Ah, il semble que la courtoisie soit morte." "Ah, it seems courtesy is dead." Good. His deep voice mused as he sought to shield his little princess' body. "Recule, ma douce colombe noire.""Stand back, my sweet black dove." His muscles tensed beneath taut mocha fur, claws flexing in the sand below.

But before he could meet the striped female head-on, @Amara's voice and shape boomed from his peripheral vision. A smirk pulled on the edge of his lips. "Vive la violence." "Long live violence." Apolliaire could care less about the politics at this very moment - he was simply enjoying the idea of being given the chance to tear and shred flesh to ribbons. If there was anyone else interested in digging into his kin, he was going to be right here.

Let them come.

So it would seem her paws would not be idle for long, as Amara had promised. True to her word, the lions of Wolfbron seemed to be hungry for violence. And where violence went, so did a medic. So it was why she had been following behind the star-flecked queen when she headed in the direction of a desert. Her satchel was packed full of healing herbs, and she made certain to keep herself outside the marked borders of whatever pride the lioness was going for.

However, no sooner had she arrived on the scene when a lioness smelling of the Oasis came charging towards a young cub. Hackles raised, and the medic tensed before Amara jumped in to interfere with it. Regardless of a cubs manners, a grown lion should not be attacking a child. Children were sacred, and to be protected at all costs. Another male would come up alongside the child, and it would seem he had familiarity with the cub. At least she would be protected from anyone else who wished to harm her.

Looking between the cub and adult, and focused her attention on the youth. "Did she harm you?" Adelita asked, her accent heavy on her tongue as she spoke. Her emerald eyes would move towards the lioness who had attacked and narrow before she spat out words in anger. "Perra cobarde.*"
