She would not allow herself to give any indication of the pain that she felt when his fangs pierced the side of her neck. As her own teeth find purchase around his own neck, pulling out bits of mane in her attempt to bite down on his own neck in retaliation of his attempts to grab her by the neck. With a renewed effort, Zabrina would attempt to thrust her jaws forward even further in an attempt to bury her fangs even deeper into his neck if she could do her.

Her claws would slam down upon his paws, digging into the softer flesh on top of his toes. Apparently, she'd pissed him off even more - considering the way his right leg came up and slammed into her cheek just below her eye. The pain from the claws would cause her to tighten her jaws even harder around whatever she currently was able to keep her fangs sunk into. In her pain, she would also attempt to slam and then drag (if she was successful in hitting his leg) the claws of her right leg into the softer underside of his currently lifted front leg.

his talons were dripping in her blood.  his own nerves feel frayed, adrenaline coursing through, highlighting every blood-splattered wound as vermillion fluid coats the plush, ivory fur there.  her teeth continue to further deepen their mark, though he's grateful for his thicker mane, even as more rivulets of blood continue to spill downward, staining the half-blue fur.  her claws then find their purchase upon his arm, sending more jolts of lightning euphoria through his nerves, the pain mixing with the intensity, although his appearance remains feral and rigid.  retaliation would come within a viper's surge, as harou attempts to lower his jaws and open wide across her face; chew on it, if he can.

she's equally as excited to see him again and it warms aspen's heart to know that. though the guilt had only flickered for a second, it's chased off entirely when @Lúllia mentions her own adventure out in the wider world. orange eyes blaze with curiosity, wondering what his friend might have seen - would there be something aspen had maybe missed in his own travels? "you went exploring too? me too!" the boy exclaims, the eagerness dripping off of each syllable as he shrugs off her apology. it wasn't needed, the guilt had been fully chased off now. aspen barely waits for a reply before speaking again. "see anything cool?" he adds, letting himself sit down again.

"i thought about you too..." of course he had! aspen had come across a huge meadow of flowers and had thought immediately of lúllia and her running nose. the memory of the memory brings a smile to his boyish features. though it drops away into a frown just as quickly as another fight breaks out closer to them. as if on instinct, aspen's body angles to make sure lúllia is safely on the other side of him. an ear flicks at her comment, orange eyes tear away from the brawl to meet her blue gaze, a soft smile spreading over his own lips. "you got a lot taller too!" she'd been such a tiny little thing the last time they'd run into each other - though she was bigger, lúllia was still much smaller than aspen was. "you still look the same though, i recognized you as soon as i saw you." in fact, if lúllia hadn't approached him first, aspen surely would've as soon as he saw her.

Although there are other fights beginning to fetch her attention, Pyrrha also noted Noemi's glance to another. Someone Pyrrha is not familiar with but Noemi has reason to be interested in. She issues a command and in reaction her company does little. Someone you know? She asks of Helah.

She leans in her muzzle to rest against Noemi, just below the other's nearest ear. And ever quiet she whispers back. You know what I'd do. what I plan to do... Whoever won would be smart to keep the other here in the pride, or find manner of leverage to keep for themselves. Lest they suffer a nuisance like Pyrrha intended in her own tale and life. For a second she stays in close to Noemi, eyes flickering around to catch who had since also arrived to watch. Regrettable that there is no sign of her mother, not even Kvare either. There is an assortment from Caladan, she recognized Milano there. Hmm, will be curious to try and discern the groups feelings on the outcome.

Would you like to know more about the woman who fights? She asks Noemi then, and ever slowly pulls herself back into a more normal but still close sitting arrangement.

The question comes as no surprise; the shouting woman was clearly from the Oasis so it would be an astute assumption that Noemi would have at least some knowledge. But she didn’t. She hadn’t been in the pride long enough to have met all—let alone more than a handful—of its members, so the woman’s identity was a mystery. It would have been safe to say she was of higher rank though with the way she barked around.

"Not quite," she answered truthfully, and left it at that as hot breath began to tickle against her ear, @Pyrrha ♔ having leaned in close to further keep their comments between them alone. Noemi held fast as her remark came matter-of-factly. "Keep your enemies close," she murmured. Though she found it unlikely those retained would ever truly be loyal, at least as long as they were within your grasp, you could use them as needed.

It was now her turn to ask, "Is she someone you know? Please, do tell," she urged with a glint in her eye. Unlike Noemi’s lack of given information, Pyrrha might actually have some to pass along in regards to the challenger. Knowing more of the woman who might take the throne could be beneficial. She eyes the fight again, noting how matched the blows seemed to be coming, wondering if the king was having an off-day, the challenger was getting lucky, or a mixture of both.

There was no doubt as he sat there, silently fidgeting with his front paws, that he was a bit anxious being here at the Andal borders. Not feeling very good about the situation and most certainly getting a sense that he just was not welcome here even if he hadn't ever been told such. So when @Rhea appears beside him, he feels a jolt of surprise before a small flood of relief. The male is the one who fought my mother for Andal. If the male had ever said his name, Guelle had not been in the right mindset to remember it but he did know that he was the one to defeat Leonie in battle. I don't know the lioness, though.

He had followed @Nyaxia's scent to Andal, wondering what was going through her head about the challenge. Arkyn knew that he had narrowly lost her to that man, but some how she had come back to him - to Firnen. Yellow eyes watch her intently, a brow rising as she is attacked by none other than a cub. It was something he wasn't going to meddle in, feeling that the woman could handle herself against the kid, but his attention is fully focused as a grown lioness slams her way toward Nyaxia. This brings out a low growl from the Viking, colossal form moving swiftly through the crowd and barreling right for the white woman. He leads with his right shoulder as he clears the distance, attempting to crash into the center of the woman's free side, attempting to knock her off balance and to have her leave Nyaxia the fuck alone.

The irritation at the little gremlin is clear in her tone and Nikandr can't help but snort. He was nearly the same as the girl, there; a thorn in his father's side. But that's how he ended up here - a million miles from home and, likely, forgotten. The amusement slips from his face and he falls quiet. @Faolán slides to the side of their sovereign that he doesn't occupy and the Law boy lets his gaze trail over the she-wolf. She seems control incarnate and the quiet strength she portrays reminds him, painfully, of the Law women.

When did he gets so gods damn nostalgic? Gross.

Icefang rises before he has more than a moment to comprehend what she's doing. And she's suddenly charging headlong in to defend her child. A paw lifts and he rubs it across his face with a groaned fuck's sake, under his breath, ears laying back to his skull. Nikan plops his foot back to the earth and shoots an uncertain gaze between the two Vermeda women. She was fine - right? Right.

Until he sees a stranger charging in to try to slam into her. He swallows the urge to roar out a warning, knowing that the Firnen man will be warned too, and instead scrambles to his paws to charge in. He's not likely fast enough to interrupt the attack completely, but he does his best to close in with claws unsheathed and fangs bared. He lowers his head and attempts to leap the final bit of distance between them, open jaws attempting to wrap around the man's outer rear thigh while simultaneously his right forepaw aims to sweep up and sink claws into the inside of his thigh, near where it meets the stomach.

Soon, his attention was diverted from the main battle to a sideline scuffle. A young, brown, stripy girl launched herself at a grown adult, which earned an amused huff from Zaahir. He didn't really need to know the history there to find it funny.

This gathering was getting more interesting by the minute, with another fight breaking out between some older brown woman and a younger grey one. Attention shifted back to the cub-on-adult scuffle when another adult joined in support of the cub. With the main event seemingly coming to a close, this was now the most interesting thing - and it kept getting more interesting as others joined in on either side.

Zaahir's attention would flit back and forth between the various battles, lingering a few seconds on each and noting a fourth had begun as well.

Our ally currently, is Andal, and are free to cross.

Aphrodite's voice rings clear in her head as the young lioness makes her way across heated desert sand. But it is not her sovereign that draws her to the borders of the oasis, rather it's the familiar battle cry of someone from before Otter.

She keeps low as she carefully makes her way closer trying to avoid the crowds that have gathered to watch the spectacle. There is a feeling of annoyance in her chest, not at anyone around her but herself. She's too late. At this point getting a good sense of those who have gathered will take too long. She won't be making this mistake again, next time she won't miss her chance...

Even so, she creeps closer finding a shaded spot under some foliage where she can hopefully remain undetected as she watches the fight. Zabrina draws her eyes to her mismatched pelt hard to miss and part of the former princess hopes she'll find victory. Of course, no one will ever know for she is Otter now and Otter will stand by their ally if needed. But for now, it's not, she can be nothing but a shadow. Hidden, observing.

Of course, the familiar frame of strawberry is noted present with a soft smile. Pyrrha was here watching, alongside an unknown white lioness. She had to talk to her soon, but not now. Now would draw too much attention. So she'd move her lavender gaze back to the fight, and as she does so the presence of the dark cove sovereign is noted. And Otters gaze for a moment lingers on Aphrodite before focusing on the main fight again.
