Miaran was in the heat of battle, surrounded by her opponents on all sides. The adrenaline coursed through her veins as she unleashed her fury, feeling the sharp pain of claws digging into her flesh. With a fierce determination in her eyes, she lashed out with every ounce of strength she had. Blood flowed from her wounds, but she ignored the pain. With narrowed eyes and ears pinned back, she unleashed her fury on her attackers, showing no mercy.

As she lashed out with her back leg, aiming to strike Noemi with all the force she could muster, she ignored the pain of claws ripping into her other leg. The sheer intensity of her attack was unmatched, fueled by a deep desire to win at any cost. Every strike she made was filled with pure rage, her only focus on defeating her enemies.

When she felt the sharp claws of her male opponent digging into her shoulder flesh, she knew she had to retaliate with equal force. With a hiss of defiance, she lunged her head forward, aiming to inflict as much damage as possible to the arm she could reach. George may have managed to wound her, but she refused to back down, her eyes ablaze with rage.

Even as the lion opponent tried to overpower her, she fought back with a ferocity that was unmatched. The taste of blood in the air only served to fuel her anger further, pushing her to push through the pain and keep on fighting. Ignoring the increase of blood dripping from her wounds, Miaran continued to fight with all the strength she still possessed, despite exhaustion creeping in. She showed no mercy, no hesitation, only a relentless drive to conquer her foes. In that moment, she was a force to be reckoned with, a warrior who would stop at nothing to emerge victorious. Even if she would lose.

karsa was late. he had been clear across the valley when the call for andal oasis had rung out, nothing more than the last few notes of the faint song of battle reaching his ears up in the mountains he was roaming. shit. it was highly unlikely that he was going to make it down to the oasis in time to watch the majority of the fight, but maybe if karsa turned around right now, he'd be able to catch the tail end of it.

it's tantalizing enough of a thought, for his paws seem to turn on their own accord though he doesn't accurately anticipate how much time it would take to pick his way down the mountainside safely. nor how many pebbles would end up lodged between his toes by the time karsa finally makes it to the edge of andal (on the neutral side), he can clearly see there had been a blood bath here - and the main fight, unfortunately - is seemingly long over. the young savante has no idea who's fought - much less who has won - and frowns deeply about it. though his attention is quickly caught by the currently occurring fights, one a clusterfuck of six lions, and the other a more orderly three.

at least he could see how these opponents fared. on the way several more calls had run out claiming various members that karsa was none too familiar with. for the time being, karsa brings his front paw to his lips, sharp canines working to rid the man of the rocks and twigs lodged in his fur and, perhaps most irritatingly, between his toes.

brighid's fury is unrivaled, white hot as the wounds that carve through her pale skin and weep angry rivers down onto the sand. she detaches from her opponent, immediately abandoning her intent to throw @Neeha to the ground and rip into her. her attention sweeps away to @Arawn who had been battling in defense and suddenly the world turns on its axis. its nature's silent rage - the way of lionkind and instinct that sinks her heart into the pits of her stomach. her jaws part, a vicious snarl erupting across the dunes as she bares her teeth at her captor, blood and saliva tainting her fangs. "you will have to drag me from here," she hisses at @Haakon, though man's law has labeled her now as nothing more than a ward of caladan - the feral once queen, the oasis' forces commander now in the hands of the enemy.

there's still bloodshed surrounding her - a challenge for both arduinna and helah who each are still caught in a tangle of claws and fangs. brighid looks to @Harou ♔, glacial gaze narrowed to slits, ears pressed back so far against her head that they are near invisible. tell me what to do.

she had never felt so hopeless and its in this moment that brighid acknowledges how powerless she is. how the mighty have fallen.

The sounds of battle lure the little beast from his sleep, not that he knows what the sound is yet. Orren arrives curious and unafraid, and when the scent of blood and sweat meets him as he crests a dune, it ignites something - some feeling he cannot yet place. He waddles down the sand, slipping and sliding, until he comes to his father's heavy paw and stands beside it.

"What's this? Why are they fighting?" What had caused all this commotion and excitement? Orren's ears flick forward as he watches the battles, the heavy swing of claws. The snarls and snapping of teeth are music for the boy, and he delights in it.

"I want to fight." He declares loudly, eyes bright and alert as he looks for someone of reasonable size to attack and join the fray.

Her surrender is met with a pleased purr from the monster as he watches her lay down seasing her foolish retaliation. The victory was truly his and he ran his tongue along his lips savoring the taste for a moment. Then he stepped off her, his wounded limb hurting as pressure was applied to it. However, he refuses to limp or show it, as he stands beside her.

"Get up Flor de mar, we are heading home" he speaks, his tone surprisingly soft. However, his words hurt as the movement pulls on the tender wounds on his muzzle. But he'd follow her home before seeking a medic, ensuring that his newfound price made it all the way to the brook.

Lucky 'little' bastard he was. But even the thick fur wouldn't save him forever from the Valkyrie's wrath, for she would rip and tear until pieces of him lay all across the sand and he was reduced to nothing. Everything had faded around them. Everything beyond his flesh between her fangs, his life essence's scent in the air, claws in her skin and rending her own flesh. But not just his claws. No, she hadn't forgotten that.

As he attempted to push her down, she went down, lowering herself while seeking to bring him down with her as her fangs dug deeper into his skin. But it only lasted a second before she'd push herself up with force while at the same time throwing her head back in an attempt to tear deep wounds into his face and potentially ripping out fur. Her left paw lashed out this time, aiming to slam onto his spine and dragging downwards to leave deep cuts.

And oh, she hadn't forgotten that bitch behind her, not at all. She could feel the teeth in her tail, though it only reached her through a haze. With no moment to turn, she had no other open but to buck, aiming to throw the larger lioness off of her somehow while her hindlegs kicked out again, once more aiming at the other's chest and face after having felt the first kick connect.

It doesn't matter who won or lost in this battle, all that mattered to Arkyn was dealing the most damage he could with the time that he had. Narrowed eyes watch the white lioness before skull snaps to stare down the one that had attacked him from behind. "Learn how to fight not like a coward," he growls; in his eyes, those who attack from behind were nothing more than useless, unable to take a fight head on.

He seeks out @Nyaxia next, rushing toward her to see just how hurt she was. "Can you walk?" He is looking her body up and down, noticing the way one of her legs was, brows furrowing in concern. "I can carry you back to Firnen." He doesn't wait to see if she protests or accepts, lowering himself to the ground so that the woman could maneuver and get on his back so that he could make their way back to their pride, wanting to get out before anything else transpired.

Some movements seemed to work in his favor, while others did not. As he tried to push her down beneath his weight, she did sink down, but she ensured that she dragged him down as well - by his face. When she had gotten him right where she wanted him, she sprang up, leaning her head back and ripping into his face deeper. Okay, he needed to stop this. As the wound seared with unimaginable pain and it throbbed beneath her jaws, he brought his right paw up, disconnecting it from her shoulder, and attempted to smack it down heavily onto the woman’s head, allowing his claws to curl around her face, attempting to puncture anything to get her to let go, let him go from this vulnerable position he was in.

He was bigger than her. He had the strength. Why not use it?

He dropped his other paw from her shoulder as well, returning it to the ground for stability. He saw his opponent momentarily distracted by Drena and hoped that’d give him the opportunity he needed to make her let go of his face.

Haakon manages to end that last attack - valiant as the princeling is, he still has some training to do and years to grow before he can take on a blooded warrior. "Easy, boy," Haakon mutters, knowing better than to turn his back on the furious youth even in the face of victory. "You’ll have your chance another day."

His prize is soon out of battle, and as Haakon stands in the sand, breathing hard, she utters another challenge. "Don’t make this anymore difficult," he laughs between two sharp inhales, black lips stained red and eyes alight. "I doubt the queens want more than a bargaining chip or two." And he has secured at least one - Lagertha is unlikely to win her battle alone. That would be a feat worthy of the gods’ attention.

"Come," Haakon’s chin jerks in the direction of the Cove, away from this mess. "I’ll see to it myself you’re not accosted during your stay." If that was what feared her, though Haakon doubts it, his word is his bond.
