She's disappointed with the defeat, but truly the only thing that has changed is who Pyrrha must fight against for her own dream to be realized. The path is not all that different, this is but a detour Pyrrha had not planned for. She would have fought Sunder, Kvare, Yuna, Arkyn, her brothers, any of them for the right. This was just one more name to the list. The wheels begin to spin, the results now known. Pyrrha has work to do- the first of which is to ensure the loss is minimized. To that, she's drawn in by and made an audience of Yuna's next actions and words. The rally of the loyal.

She's not sure she's ever seen such a reaction to defeat. The call to the pride, it's the move of a leader. It's more graceful and elegant than other recent losses she has seen. Despite the crown falling Yuna seemed to try to remain Queen. Pyrrha takes a few jogging steps away from the anxious path she's blazed in the soil to follow the injured Yuna towards the gathering of Caladan members. She looks to @Analía supportive of Yuna, looks to @Eisa and Moradin as familiar faces. Then to @Aria as well. "We can leave together, show her we are still a pride. Show them all." This isn't the end. We don't have to splinter. This woman could have the land for now. Pyrrha would be enough someday, would be ready, when time came to try and fight for it back. She would give the lions she had grown up around their home again. But she did not need such things to continue to be a leader in the meantime. She needed to see if she could tug on the hearts of the members her parents gathered to keep loyal to her, to follow her. They had not failed her. Yuna included. She had fought to the end, she has been fighting every day since taking the crown. Together they could leave and figure out what intermediate steps to take before Pyrrha returned to reclaim this place.

It would feel good to lead the lions of Caladan away from the supposed to be victor. To leave her with as hollow of a prize as possible. Leader of the dust and empty spaces.

Zahra watched, hidden within the foliage, as the fight took over, expression calm but calculative. Taking as much detail as she was able to from her position. She didnt know those around except for a few familiar faces, but none were important enough to make her feel concerned, though whoever won she hopped wasnt going to be an issue for her pride in the future.

The fight concluded with the challenger winning, she nodded to herself, seeing how the previous queen took leave and soon after the new ruler. It was a shame, but it was part of being in Amaryllis, things shifted as often as the sea rose and fell each day. But it didnt mean it was easy to bear, especially for those directly involved, she assumed.

With the event over, so were her reasons to be here, and as quiet as she came, she left happy; she wasn't found while sneaking into the pride lands. exit

It was over - and Kireena frowned, watching the Caladan queen fall. Though she hadn't loved @Yuna - they had their fair share of head butting.. she saw in the fallen queen and her allies the things that she had seen in her own life. Slowly, the red woman would approach - just close enough to stay at a distance as those within the Cove took their leave. "Yuna.. You.. and yours would be welcome within the Basin - until you're ready." It was a soft spoken offer, one she was a little nervous to offer - why? because the Guardian wasn't sure how the other would receive such 'pity'. Or so she thought it might be. Honestly, the female was strong - as were those that followed her and Kireena didn't wish to see them snapped up by those looking only to use them. What good were the Basin Druids if they couldn't do exactly this? Offer succor and safety to those that needed it? Even if it was a temporary solution.. The giant was well aware that in the shifting lands of prides upon the valley in which they lived, there would be a swift movement for something higher from Yuna or those that followed her. Offer given, she turned, stepping away and allowing the female and her friends to take their leave. She doubted they would make a hasty decision so quickly - but wanted it out there regardless. //Exit//

His anxiety bubbles up. Yuna has lost. That is unfortunate but it is but the start of what concerns Moradin most. Win or lose - @Analía was at the forefront of his mind. He's already reaching to the worst of the scenarios, that this newly risen Queen will hold tight to prisoners and keep the pride under her thumb in servitude. From his spot behind the sisters and Aria he begins to tighten up, his muscles coil and he's ready to lash out if need be an earn freedom for them.

But much to his relief there will be no need. Yuna comes closer to them and Ana moved to meet her. This new ruler will let them leave- a small kindness amongst the harsh blow of taking over their home, their lives. He exhales, wordless then as the dog moves to keep with Ana and Yuna, ready as he could be to react and engage anyone that tried to stop the pair. It wasn't the first home he'd be leaving behind but this time it was infinitely less scary. He still had his reasons, he still had something to do and a way to be useful.

Aphrodite Goddess of the Dead She rises on a new throne. Her crown settled delicately on top of her head and Aphrodite revels in its glory. A dark grin, a flash of passion shines in her jewels as she watches Miaran become a victory. The new queen of the cove and she, rising beside her. She does not hesitate, standing up and meeting Miaran half way with a brush of her head against the lionesses shoulder, a nibble to her ribs before she turned and began to follow. This was their time to shine. To rise and show who and what they were. Already Aphrodite was beginning to think of the politics to come. Allies. Enemies. Rules. All of it. But that would take time and right now, her viper needed to heal. Exit"Talk here." && 'Think here.'

Andraesa watches from her vantage point, a sandy speck among the gathered. His Highness chides the elephant, and for a moment, the woman smiles. Reti, as he had claimed his name was, was certainly a reputable man... at least with the herdfolk that she had attached herself to.

She made a mental note to visit the Hollow sometime with a gift for his kindness.

The stranger wins and the unhidden begin to disperse, with the lions (and... cheetah?) of Caladan falling in and out of ranks in the aftermath of the Usurper Queen. She knew that sting... the loss of home... the confusion of where to go afterwards. She could feel the former Queen's frustration, her anger, in her bones - the same sort of gut-hatred she held for the Dieudonné that had taken the Rainforest from her family.

Though her mother offers up their band as shelter, Andraesa chooses not to appear as a guide. If the dregs of the Cove wanted the spoils of their home, they would have to come on their knees for it. She would not let the Basin be overrun if that was what the Usurper led to.

As quietly as she came, she slips away, back to the jungle, back to home, where she would no doubt have much to discuss with her own people.

Marja had not arrived in time to see the challenge, and to pray to Grom for the victory of the holder of the Cove. When she arrived to see that the land held a new ruler- she felt a pit yawn open in her belly. Marja huffed softly, before turning away from the Cove with a curl of her lip and a snarl. She had no reason to stay, and that was every reason to go. She moved away from the place- taking the chance to exit the cove and to let her Barony title go, because without that peaceful transfer... that handing of the pride to those who lived her and belonged here... she had no interest in remaining.

When Yuna falls, her heart hammers in her chest in a rapid fire beat. There are no enemies that she can fight. There is nothing that she can do. Eisa stands alongside her sister and those she knows- with no answer to give. No solution. Nothing. The shaky exhale from her lungs is her only reaction to the loss. To the realization that, yes, she could remain here.... but it wouldn't be the same. Ana moves to make her leave- her choice obvious, and she thinks of their discussion by the shore. That they were sisters first- loyal to the crown second, and if she were staying loyal to Ana... She knew the answer to the question.

Eisa does not look on the Queen for a moment longer, turning to follow the group as they made their exit from the Cove. Leaving her home, and moving on. To whatever end.

More often than not she met those who bore narcissistic values, thinking they knew best for the community, even if it meant tearing things asunder for their own purposes. @Miaran held no difference between those lions, holding a darkness shadowing her heart which laid Yuna's light to a dull flicker. Little respect ignites, even as the woman allows those who'd lived here for much longer than she'd existed upon the sands, to leave.

As @Pyrrha ♔ comes, near the other faces of Caladan, those who make up their home, their family, she feels anxious, suddenly invigorated once more as the younger woman speaks of them leaving together. Nutmeg lips curled in the softest, saddest of smiles, but she hopes part of her has rubbed off on Pyrrha. The part that hopes, and sees some good in the world, despite all the shadows writhing around them. "Yes, we should stay together." It's simple as that. Those loyal to Caladan, who cared for each other even in times of distress, should band together, recuperate their strength, and come back another day to take back their home.

Red reflects against peripherals, causing her glacial gaze to turn against @Kireena ♞. Surprise reflects in the short breath that puffs from tired lips, now leaning against @Analía as her wounds begin to pulse wicked tunes against her over-tired body. "Thank you, Kireena." Although she'd not expected such kindness from the giant red woman, there came respect for the other's willingness to offer the now ex-Caladan members a place to find their footing once more. "If the others are in agreeance, we would accept such an offer." For now they were leaving, trickling out from the pride's borders, to collect their fragments; @Moradin and @Eisa followed the rest, with Yuna nodding a grateful acceptance of Kireena's favor, before more or less hobbling out with Analía's support. /exit from the pride & thread

The excitable youth only took glancing gazes at the fight even as he crept slowly up on @Reti ♔. He was almost there, so close, he could almost taste the victory that called to him. Ears would flip forward but then the lion moved, springing ahead and twisting around towards him. The calf was shocked, mouth agape and then filled with sand. If one looked carefully they could see the calf mentally rebooting, only for his jaws to start working in a circle as he chewed the sand. Was it edible? More chewing until he finally spat it out, spraying it all over.

not food! the calf would trumpet in disagreement. How could Reti do this to Ardghal? The disappointment was palpable in the air as the calf gave one more slow chew as if the stray sand could be turned into juicy leaves from the wanting action. Gross! The youngster would complain before glancing towards all the lions and lionesses leaving. But with the previous queen being dethroned by the usurper and the fight drawing to its conclusion, he could understand why they began to trail out.

Already though? The fun was just beginning but he didn't want to be the last one to leave so he turned and began walking off, only to call over his shoulder I'll get you next time Mister Reti! Tiny trumpeter would promise him this, the next time he prowled he would try to be more stealthy. Little did the calf know, it was almost an impossible ask for the calf.
