The silver Casales stared down at the children that he knew full well were going to get away with being here. The lion huffed, rolling his eyes at @Apollo then glances to @Jude as he also arrived. The silver lion glanced towards the pair as they whispered amongst themselves, choosing to give them their privacy. When he saw @Jafar, the lion would tilt his skull in acknowledgement of his fathers greeting.

He saw another fight breaking out and frowned, watching the two young ones go at it - the family that ruled here were certainly... bitey. He glanced down towards @Valka when she arrived and asked him a question. "The lion there..." He would gesture with a paw towards Scorpius. "Is the one challenging. he's my sisters husband. I don't know if.... hate is a word I'd use.. But certainly dislike of those that live here.."

He chuckled, but now that there were three younglings near him, the lion shifted, adjusting so that he could move freely without knocking them over if it was required.

Claws hit her underbelly and chest, but Heisa felt her own hit body and she used that force to keep on rolling further from Lucia. A growled erupted from her jaws as she shook her head and rubbed out the sand in her eyes once she got back to her feet. Of course she wasn't going to win, the girl was smaller and probably had more experience than Heisa did but that didn't mean she was going to at least try. A growl still formed as she was finally able to open her lavender jewels however irritating they were because of the sand and glared at Lucia. She'd get her rematch, and Heisa would train ruthlessly to get her revenge. But for now, Heisa moved towards her sister, @Langely and hissed, Remove yourself away from here. While also sulky into the shadows and waiting for her father to get here.

out of this cluster of challenges, karsa is glad to see he has arrived to this one before the main fight had started already. he shuffles in quickly, finding some familiar faces and gravitating straight for @Zsolt and @Syanna with a slight limp from his still healing ankle. "hey." karsa's greeting is breathless as he flops onto his haunches next to them. gosh, walking around with this thing was proving to be more annoying than he'd thought it would be. with all these pride challenges, trekking across the valley day after day had become an exhausting affair. as most of those gathered, karsa is well aware of who the current king of the oasis is, but the challenger is someone he's never met before. a new arrival to amaryllis perhaps? "who's he? never seen him before." hopefully his brother or his brother's girlfriend would have a clue. blue gaze swings as two girls launch into battle on the opposite side of the fighting pit, while waiting for the main fight to start, his eyes remained trained on the two for the time being. ouch, looked like there was some real animosity there. with that he gets to work, tongue rasping against his paw to clean the dessert grasses and sand that had gotten stuck between his claws on the way here. such a shitty little territory this was - karsa really didn't get the appeal.

He gives a tut at his brother's words, allowing them to roll off of his back. He didn't need some girl to pine over and follow like a lost cub. It's the question of @Evren wanting a refresher on how Scorpius lost the Oasis in the beginning that reels Saladin in, and the yearling clears his throat like he is about to go on a long-winded tangent before he began. "Some woman beat him. I think her name was Helah or something." Saladin didn't stay long enough after that to learn more about the woman, instead deciding it was time for him to be a big boy and take on the rogue lifestyle.

Ears twist as he hears familiar voices near him, attention now falling upon both @Daneri and @Asbjørn. He gives his friends a welcoming smirk before he moves, placing himself next to Daneri. "Seems like it," he replies to her comment, his eyes roving over the crowd and the lions he were clustered around. "Is that the guy's name? Aeistrios?" His question is directed toward Asbjørn now, two toned eyes landing on him with an expectant gaze. Was this lion not liked? You could say Saladin had been living under a rock, not really savvy with keeping an eye on what the goings on were in Amaryllis. A quick flick of his attention is given to @Sæunn in a friendly manner, giving her a nod to not be so impolite and instead ignore her. He remembered her, as well, from the last challenge, but Saladin didn't speak to her.

She didn't get a chance to hear her sister approaching, which was a pity because she would have greeted her with warmth and tried to squirrel her away into the depths of the Oasis so perhaps the Mire wouldn't be able to find her. But, alas, she was instead met with a vicious voice in her ear and then her face was stinging as claws sank into the thin skin of her nose.

Ah! The fuck!? she yelped as she scrambled backwards, aiming to get away from the pain and also Elio before he got sucked into things as well. How is that my fault!? I didn't fucking ASK to be the one to get out first! she said, prowling to the side to put more distance between herself and her pale brother. I'd have told them to get you first, little shit, she added as she lunged for her younger sister, because much as she strove to protect her family she wasn't about to take a brazen, unwarranted attack like that lying down. Even though, you know, she kind of literally had.

She reached out with her right front paw, attempting to smack her sister in the left cheek. But her claws weren't out, as perhaps Leiah would notice. She refused to hurt her, though she wouldn't expect Leiah to do the same. That wasn't the Saxe way, she supposed.

The fact that he didn't know about her death was why he still lingered back to the Oasis. It had been some time since he had laid eyes on Renfri. He longed to hold her close and to just be within her presence once again. Unaware that it would be a broken dream. The brute arrived dutiful and oblivious. The challenge is what had caught his attention and pulled him back from his personal business.

He noted the lack of Renfri's specific scent. Brows furrowed in wonder but he remained silent as he came upon the mass of lions. Nothing ever remained small, or simple in the pride of the Saxe. It is to the boy ( @Elio) , a child of the king he assumed if he remembered correctly, that he went near. "Where is Renfri?" He'd ask. It was unusual for her to not show up for a challenge in her home.

Someone called for the Oasis, Abdul instantly went looking for Aeistrios and telling the King that he was going to go ahead and get a good look at what was going on. Of course when he showed up, Abdul didn't realize just how big of a crowd had already arrived, and it startled him. How many lions actually lived in Amaryllis? He had only met a handful but this was more than a handful and he found his anxiety trying to show through but the fox would shaking his head and push through it.

He should've gotten here sooner, but there was this thing called fear of lions he had and it had nearly consumed him had he not thought about @Aeistrios for a brief moment and went looking for him before now. So, when he arrived yellow jewels caught sight of Heisa walking away injured and trying to get another cub to move away from whoever she had been fighting. Well, Abdul did know that the Saxe were born to fight and had that impulsive nature so that was not surprising. There were other fights too but his jewels landed on the challenger.

The male stood in the center of it all and Abdul studied him from the crowd that he tried to hide and blend into. It was a bit hard to do but he tried really hard to not be noticed.

Reina did not like having to stay within the Mire. It was always damp and muddy, which was considerably different compared to the Brook and the Oasis. Her fur and her paws were constantly dirty, which proved to be uncomfortable. She was used to the soft sand, the palm trees, and the calm water within the Oasis. So, to stay out of the dirty mud, the Saxe girl had tried to stay on the coastal side of the Mire. Staying where the land met the sea was a little better, but it simply wasn’t the same.

Nothing was the same as home.

She knew the rules. She wasn’t allowed to leave. But she was tired of listening and obeying those who had taken her away from her family. She wished to see her kin, her home, and her father. Even if he was considered a killer. Even if he was the most hated in all of Amaryllis.

She still loved him. She loved all of them. Her siblings and her blood. They were all that she knew.

So when she noticed that the Mire Sovereign himself had disappeared from the swamp, the girl would carefully follow his trail. It led her straight to home, and her soft gaze narrowed slightly.

She made sure to try her best to hide, not wanting to get caught and possibly beaten for leaving the Mire. She needed to see this, to witness it, and to see if everyone was okay.

Her father was nowhere to be seen, but she could see a few of her siblings. Her eyes landed on Leiah and Siofera fighting, and she bit her lip. She wanted to burst out and yell at them to stop, but she knew that would only lead to an even worse situation.

She had half the mind to keep @Heisa pinned in the sand but once the girl pushed off of her again she would let her flee, taking her sister with her. "Weak." She would hiss, a grin on her face as her bobbed tail twitched with excitement. Previous wounds were already forgotten as she sauntered over to both @Apollo and @Jude, her confidence already through the roof thanks to her victory. "I hope you boys got a good look at what a real fighter can do." She muses with no shame before she would plop her haunches down on the ground to Apollo's left. Her ruby gaze would still follow Heisa as she moved away, but then another scuffle would start between cubs on the sideline and Lucia couldn't help but comment on it, "Seems like someone is upset about something."
