Their words fall on deaf ears, for Aeistrios was hardly a reasonable man and so Violarum knows he owes him no time of day. This is the man who uprooted his home and touched his family after all. Though no simmering wrath bubbles the way that it should, because he knows the plum beast is weak, and his chances thin, and the clay King is quite convinced he was not worth the effort.

Though where the lion pushes against him, sending Violarum's forearm at an uncomfortable angle against his shoulder - causing a wince - a brewing snarl overflows into an attempted bite to the disgusting cavern of his empty eye-socket. For this was no gentle debate, and he had every intention of following through.

He feels his sister's weight lifted, granting a small window for him to gain his feet. He doesn't fault her for her rage. For him to reappear so suddenly, and with the plum-colored bastard in tow? He'd be more than a little upset, too. The man, or demon, as Kian has often thought of him, speaks, occasioning a wild-eyed, unsettled look from the boy. "Put a lid on it, will you?" His joining into the fray nags at him, more than he can afford to show on the exterior. What's his relation to Bordeaux? And does she willingly abide a monster such as him? But his attention is torn away from the male, back to his sister. "She's a Crow. One of the band." Does it even matter? No sooner has his gaze settled on her, than does something cold and wet hit him in the face, darkening his vision. He grunts, giving his head a shake in an effort to dispel the muck. It's mud, he knows, a weapon he himself employed against her when they sparred as children. "Daddy didn't attack her. He can challenge for who he wants; he's a king." "Not this kind of king." The clash between his father and Aeistrios is too familiar, too wince-worthy to watch, but his face is grim with resolve. "Anni... go through with this, and we won't be any better than him." All the same, there is something imploring in his eyes. You know that, right? His vision still half-obscured, he lunges forward, blindly attempting to drive his head into her chest. Viggo braces himself as the two go down, flailing in the sludge. There's no way to soften the impact, and so he lands squarely on his shoulder, viciously entangled with the ebony prince like a pair of quarreling house cats. The impact rattles him and steals his breath a second time as he peels his lips back at his opponent, a breathless hiss escaping him.

He'd be lying if he said his heart is still in the fight after watching their contractor leaving them at the mercy of the mud-dwellers. How he wishes he was tearing into Luther's white hide instead—spineless asshole would probably put up less of a fight, too. The ebony man's grip slackens after his kick lands, but Hubert doesn't let the action go unpunished. Hind legs rake maliciously across his sensitive underbelly, claws lacerating the skin.

Copious amounts of blood begins to flood from the wounds, and the arrant pain that explodes across his stomach has his head swimming. He's unceremoniously shoved away, but not before trying to close his jaws around an extended arm, trying to wrench his head to the side in a bid to impede movement there, or if he's lucky, dislocate the shoulder.

There was so much going on - so many bodies moving and fighting - and he almost hated that he was caught in the crossfire of it all. Why did they want his sister - why did all of this even have to be going on? It made little sense to him, but alas the chaos of the Saxe seemed to have that pattern with the pink child.

He found that he had managed to bite into the forelimb he sought out, something he almost felt bad for, and suddenly a headbutt knocked him backwards and into the ground with a loud hmpf. He feels pain throb along his frame, blinking at the intensity of it before his head shakes out. Reistrios is stunned and as more pain fills his body, he attempts one last time to charge forward and shove the woman (Hekate) away from his siblings.

The call rang out across the Mire, and for once, Adalrik wasn't sure what to do. His ears pin back against his mane as he stands there, frozen, in the middle of his den. The boy had heard tales of his older half-brother and the man he had become, how he had gone against everything his father stood for. How he had disappeared and become a traitor - how he was not welcome in the Mire any more. When Adalrik heard the call echo through his home, his blood ran cold and his tail twitched in mild annoyance. Was it finally time to meet his ever-so special big brother?

Admittedly, the yearling Prince had tried his best to avoid the challenge altogether. Would it not be better, should Bruno fall, that he and his siblings run, rather than face the consequences? Perhaps that was the coward in him speaking, the inability to face the music and instead remain safe from harm. But that wasn't manly, was it? No. Father would not be pleased. With an internal battle of hesitation, Adalrik makes his way to the war cry that echoed throughout his home with a sickening howl.

He arrives to what he can only describe as a shit show. Fights were erupting all around him, with Mire lions pitted against Mire lions, and others fighting clear allies. For a moment, the yearling Prince feels nothing but an overwhelming sense of confusion, but he desperately seeks to find a familiar face in the crowd. Where were his sisters?

Eyes scan the crowd desperately, and eventually fall not on the figure of his sisters, but the pearly-white figure of @Emory. Adalrik might not have been the brightest of his litter, but it didn't take a genius to work out that this boy was a son of Luther. Adalrik's thoughts were reinforced by the desperate plea for another yearling to leave.

Adalrik does not say a word - why should he? Moving with purpose and outstretched claws across the bloodied clearing, Adalrik makes a beeline for the white boy, who seemed too desperate to leave. With bared fangs and a new-found purpose, Adalrik attempts to come up behind Emory, and with outstretched paws, claws and ambition, he attempts to jump onto Emory's back in a bid to find purchase.

Recluse was tired of this, lacking in motivation when it came to fighting Aeistrios's carelessly chosen battles. He wished to align with a lion that yet had nothing, offering only more animosity should things fail. Better just to fight in defense of himself in this moment, even if he had little opinion of his opponent.

Fangs would seek out the side of his neck, the small plum male immediately withdrawing before she might potentially obtain a strong grip there. Fangs would leave cuts there, aided by how quickly he broke away. He would nearly topple in the mud with the motion, managing to rebalance himself in time. He would charge again, this time lowering his head protectively and attempting to slam into her chest like a battering ram. Hopefully his lower center of gravity would benefit him in this.

She must be sorely regretting not listening to him now. He wished he could see it on her face. But her face was occupied with the greater threat. He growled. This whole situation was frustrating. Little did he know that his king and royals were also entangled in a web of half-willingness and old enemies on wrong sides. "Jus' hold ssstill!" he tried to plead around a mouthful of scruff. He didn't want to bite her, but realized he had to when she tried to snap at the Mire lion's throat. He didn't want any of them dying. So he aimed to use his existing grip to try to yank her downward and also attempted to weigh his right paw over the small of her back. Minus that paw, her shift in weight slammed into his planted left forearm and he stumbled back, the thin flesh bruised and tingling radiating all along the bone.

A hiss of pain left him when her fangs succeeded in piercing the flesh around his wrist. Blood trickling down his arm from the wounds being made, nice little puncture wounds he would have to deal with later. Meanwhile he adjusted to try and push forward to resume chewing at her ear, he had enjoyed the taste of it thus far. As Livyatan mvoed he felt her move too, and had he not moved the inch he did, she would be holding that vital spot. Instead she hit just below it, where the mane did its job of protecting him. He felt his tail lash in anger while her teeth gripped his hairs roughly pulling on them. Even more so if Aurochs pulled her back roughly from him.

Livyatan slapped his paw back to the ground so he could make a quick adjustment of his hips lowering them for aided balance. Then he lifted BOTH front paws over the top of her head with claws out attempting to hook them on either side, and pull down. A demented hug if you would.

Meanwhile his jaws were still attempting to chew on the ear he had obtained, enjoying the taste of it. His eyes narrowed, he hopwd the other man succeeded in reeling her into the earth below. Sides heaved with effort, panting slightly. Hontestly Livyatan wanted to seize a hold of her scruff and drag her ass out. But Bruno wanted her here... for what, he did not know, but a loyal dog did not ask for reasons from their masters.

The little weasel's teeth dug into her paw, as the other female's shoved away and at the same time managed to slash into Odette's shoulder. She aims to jerk free from them to thrust, towards the older one, while batting at the younger. "You don't leave, Prisoner." She hisses, at the older female @Siofera because Ciara and Odette are not bested, they cannot be beaten- the sisters had won this, somehow. "Go sit down before I keep another of your siblings here too." She snarls, as she aims to pull away from them to move away, and to move to shove the younger male away from @Ciara, if she is able.

Odette's attention veers from them, as she surveys what's going on around her- noting that @Bruno ♔ is another fight, and the challenger... where was he? She stares through the night, unsure and unable to truly see- as she scours for another to challenge.
