It was time. @Arkyn had accepted her pregnancy, and Csitri honestly felt horrible for ever doubting him. He'd always been warm and steady, a constant. He loved her, and she shouldn't have thought he'd meant it so lightly. The Viking wanted her taken care of, and it meant more to the Savante than anything. So they'd travelled to her family's home together, carrying the worry with one another of what her father's reaction might be.

The healer was certain he'd be overjoyed to welcome new cubs to their ranks, but felt a sense of apprehension to tell him she'd done it in such a non-traditional way. And with a man he doesn't know very well. But that would be remedied soon enough. Csitri would not live here without her warrior being allowed to visit as he pleased. The man wouldn't be tied down to the pride, but she was happy for him to be there regardless.

It was with sweaty paws and a worried look to @Arkyn that she'd step up to the borders of the Hollows. She'd call to @Alexander ♔ only, settling into a sit and letting out a sigh in an effort to calm her racing heart. The woman didn't fear her father's wrath or a bad reaction, but if he were disappointed in her, it would break her heart.

Oh, it had felt like forever since he'd last seen his daughter. Not since her conversion ceremony? He had only been left to speculate the reasoning behind it, assuming she may have regretted it. Perhaps she didn't want to be a Savante after having to endure the ceremony once again? Alexander wouldn't condemn her for it, regardless she would still always be his daughter. As her call rings out across the Hollows, Alexander does not waste any time meeting her. Only, she is not alone. There is a male with her.

The male that had been at her ceremony. Who had not been happy about it at all. The boy's demand all but echoed in Alexander's memory. Immediately the beast is apprehensive, ears sweeping back and disappearing within the mass of his ashen mane. "Csitri? Is everything all right?" She looked anxious, scared. Had something happened, was she hurt? Instinctively his blue eyes moved to examine her form extensively, brows knitting together.

He follows behind her, the ever watchful and protective guard. It wasn't Arkyn's most favored choice, having her join the Hollows, but he knew that @Csitri needed to be safe and near her family. He wouldn't allow for his children to grow up not knowing their kin like him; he was going to make sure this was far more different than his cubhood. And a way for him to do that would be to make a trip to Illyria soon, to try to mend whatever he and Morrigan had.

Yellow eyes peer into pride territory as they come to a halt, the beast stopping on the right side of his healer. His side brushes up against her own as he does so, lips tugging into a thin line once he sees the form of @Alexander ♔ approaching. He could sense the anxiety, confirmed by the King's words and the way his eyes looked over his daughter. "She's fine," Arkyn says with an almost accusating tone; did he really believe he would harm her? From there he would keep his maw shut, glancing down to Csitri and releasing a an exhale through flared nostrils.

Csitri leans into the comforting warmth of Arkyn's plush-furred shoulder with a distracted hum in her throat. He does wonders in calming her nerves, all by being here by her side. So when her father appears, she's almost some semblance of calm. That is...until her mate opens his big, fat mouth.

He was protective, that was something the piebald woman was used to, but this wasn't the place to do so. A stern look is shot his way, her own shoulder poking at him in gentle warning. Arkyn would need to behave here, this was her family. They would be safe here - him included. So long as he didn't go picking fights.

But Csitri had every faith that the peach Viking's hackles would smooth down soon enough. They'd just have to get him acclimated to her family and their culture. It wasn't exactly an easy thing to gather and process, but they were just as much a part of his life now as Csitri herself was.

Tearing her stare to the towering form of @Alexander ♔, her expression would morph into something sheepish. "I'm okay, papa. I've come bearing wonderful news, actually." again she'd glance Arkyn's way. A soft, sweet smile cast his way before she'd clear her throat and get to business.

"@Arkyn and I are in love, we've accepted each other as mates...and we've found out I'm pregnant." Bi-colored gaze would roam the planes of Alex's face as she spoke, trying to pick out what exactly every twitch and tremble meant. Meanwhile, salmon tongue would swipe across her lips nervously.

"I want your support, and to come home. To raise them here, in stability and love."

Alexander has little to no time to ask anything further, @Arkyn lumbers into the scene, but stays just outside of the border. Which was, perhaps - the best idea. Given how he immediately spoke to the Savante Patriarch. Ears sweep back, the hair along his back bristles and it takes everything in him not to snarl in response to such disrespect. This was his home, his daughter - he had every right to ask questions about her well being. Blue eyes would flick toward @Csitri, as if silently asking, this one, truly?

Nose wrinkles briefly before his attention shifts fully to his daughter, deciding not to engage in Arkyn's foul attitude. If he felt so defensive about things, perhaps he had hurt her? Alexander wouldn't dwell on it right now. He would behave for his little one. Ears perk at the mention of good news, wonderful even. It was as he suspected - they were in love. It was the only reason he could think she'd bring a male to his borders. The next bit, however...

Had him wide-eyed and blinking.

He smiles wide and immediately moves to embrace her tightly, his heart thudding in his chest. Large, powerful arms hold her close, nuzzling his cheek against hers affectionately. "Nagyon boldoggá tettél ezen a napon!" You have made me so happy this day! The words were warm, full of love. There was an elation in his soul that couldn't be matched. First Dragos, now Csitri - he was a grandfather twice now!

Leaning back to peer at her adoringly, the beast hums approvingly, "I would love nothing more," He moves to press his forehead to her own, closing his eyes to simply revel in the moment. Alexander would do everything to protect her and her children - and perhaps with time he could come to like Arkyn more.

With time.

He feels the jab of a shoulder by @Csitri, causing for a low grunt to be released. He wasn't one to be accused of hurting another when they didn't deserve it, especially one he cared so much for and was carrying his children. But Arkyn falls silent, instead watching the interaction between the two and feeling his chest tighten slightly whenever she mentioned that they were expecting. Eyes shift back to @Alexander ♔ then, watching his facial expression rather intensely, only to feel a little calmer whenever Csitri's father reacted in joy. He spoke in a language he had heard before from them, and although he couldn't understand (as much as he loathed not being able to understand another) he could tell the words seemed to be of good intention.

The beast lets out a breath as the Hollows King agrees for his daughter to join his pride, a side eye given to the woman before he decided to speak once more. "I will not be joining," he begins, tone of voice level and steady, "but with your permission I would like to be able to come and visit Csitri. And to be able to remain close by within your territory for when she needs me." He continues to watch Alexander, wondering what his answer would be.
