Khadija Al-Najma

Khadija fangs at least got something this time. Khadija aimed to hold herself in the the same position she was able to obtain. It was time for her to start using her size to her advantage too. She often times forgets about her size, about the potential in it. But for now, as a novice fighter, there were many things yet to learn.

Etain's fangs were also on their own spot within the fresh of Khadija's shoulder. The pain was a foreign sensation but she was too focused on defending her home that her own adrenaline kept her nerves dormant for now. As Khadija tried to keep her front paws on her enemy's shoulders, she senses motion from Etain who quickly moved in a way to tear at her shoulder, and before she knew it she had dirt and snow going her way, she turns her head to the left trying to miss it but not fast enough as her right eye caught debris and dirt. She snarls in response to the low blow to her eye that now ached and she was unable to open it. Angry she tries to retract from her old position, letting go of her bite and front legs before attempting to throw her left front paw in a vertical way with claws unsheltered towards the girl's face. Aiming for the forehead or south. She was done trying to not go too hard on the intruder. But the dirty play wasn't acceptable for her anymore.

They whisper what no tongue can tell

Someone with more training might have been able to show Khadija various moves in such a fight. But Etain wasn't concerned with any of that in the moment of their fight. She had a lot to learn as well, but there were other times for that.

A growl came from her when the other yearling's paw met her face. In her own movement of turning to find another spot to attack, Khadija's claws met the scar on the left side of her face, cutting deep enough to draw blood. Her entire body froze in what felt like a replay of how she'd gotten the scar in the first place. The bronze yearling was shaking, panting, yet her gaze that locked onto the other showed no fear. Something definitely wasn't right with that look. But before her opponent could even wonder what it could be, Etain charged towards her, seeking to fake a slip to the left, only to dash right and attempt to throw herself on top of Khadija, seeking to pin her down by digging her claws into her with a vicious snarl.

Luckily for her, @Faline wasn't offended by her playful gestures of swatting, and didn't seem too off-put by her choice of words to the older cub.

In fact, the other girl had lowered her chest down, angling to Seifrienriosa , and the young girl found a wide smile blossoming on her face. "If you can keep up!" She throws back, her smaller body attempting to mirror Faline's form, chest lowering to the ground while her tailess rump swayed in the air. Another one of her paws attempts to swat out at her, followed by the leaping form of her body as she attempts to tackle into Faline with a playful squeal of cub war.

It was safe to say, the fighting and chaos of the trespasser were all but forgotten within her mind as she played with the other cub.

Reah wasn’t sure what exactly to expect from the yearling, but she couldn’t help but growl in displeasure when she growled at the Queen. @Wolfgang spoke up then and Reah glanced over at him and then nodded. “That’s a good point,” she finally spoke. Her ear twitched, hearing the little ones begin to speak to each other. Thankfully, they seem rather preoccupied with each other instead of the yearling that had waltzed in like an idiot. @Khadija spoke up then and quickly a fight escalated. Reah couldn’t help but tense her muscles and watch, “Make sure the children are safe, please,” she spoke to Wolfgang, giving him a nod. She unsheathed her claws and noticed how the Lorien lioness had ended up defeated by the trespasser. She wasn’t upset though, but she knew that now was her time to properly deal with this. “I don’t know who you are, I don’t care for whatever excuse or explanation you have as to why you trespassed,” she said and finally without warning, she walked right up to @Etain, her eyes dark with malice. “The borders are marked daily, if you’re too idiotic to smell them then maybe you need to be taught a proper lesson. Amaryllis is an unforgiving place, and today you will learn that.” she snarled. Rage washed over Reah’s form and without another thought or care in the world, she raised her paw and attempted to slash her claws across Etain’s face. Perhaps the girl was innocently exploring, but Reah had gone through enough already. With the prior trespassers and the impending war, this was just enough of an excuse for her to release her pent-up anger and stress from it all. Especially when the girl had thought to growl at the Queen. I'm gonna wait out past the shadows, and breathe the bitter taste, I'm gonna drink the lonely down, I can feel it all around

It was easy to ignore the fray all about them when her mind was focused on @Seifrienriosa and her playful bantering. Fae's eyes alit with delight at the prospect, her worries suddenly whisked away by the invitation to play from the princesses themselves. And though she'd once been one, too, she was keen to play the part of another life. Long had her hopes of Janni returning for her begun to dwindle, and what fleeting memories of her mother had turned from a desperate longing to a heavy life lesson, and mannerisms that would carry into adulthood. But she was not shy of play, and she was not shy of the danger that unfurled all about them.

If you can keep up! the speckled cub shouted, accompanying the swat of her paw and the sudden surge forward. A girlish screech echoed from her lips as she was suddenly bowled over, the smaller cub successful in launching straight into her wolfish counterpart. Paws flailed outward, attempting to wrap around Seifrienriosa's neck as she tried to cling on desperately and keep herself from falling limp in the fields. However, what few cries erupted from her lips were those of glee, soft giggles accompanying the muffled sounds of battle in the background.

The pines, they often whisper

Another might have gloated at a victory or even taunted others present, but the pale bronze yearling did not. Still panting, blood dripping from where the other yearling's attack had reopened the wounds over her left eye, she simply glared at the adults. A faint growl of frustration, not really directed at anyone, sounded from her as she dug her claws into the ground. "Same as any other place," she hissed in response to the snarled words. While she had no intention of attacking and would have gone with them as captive or whatever they would have chosen, the situation was a quite different one. Being so new to the lands she wasn't aware of how bad things were for some prides, but she had no intentions of making anything worse.

Though before she had any chance to even surrender herself in any way, Reah had already made her own move to strike. Not having expected another fight, she didn't move quickly enough and so the Queen's sharp claws ripped more at the already open wounds on her face and adding more. But the yearling didn't fight it this time. Exhausted from the previous fight with little chance to catch her breath, she simply took the hit and thrown to the side. And for just a moment the scene blurred for her, replaced by the memory of a so familiar situation. It didn't last long, but when she lifted her gaze, blurred by blood on one eye, she looked right at @Reah with flattened ears, though she didn't say a word at all. Just gave her a look so void of anything, not a look anyone should have, especially not at a young age.

Her claws rake against the yearling's face. The trespasser simply takes the attack and falls to the ground. She then looks up at Reah with a blank expression, and Reah lets out a low growl. “You are a prisoner to Lorien, you are not allowed to leave the kingdom now until you are granted freedom,” she explained. Her eyes were narrowed with irritation and hatred. Though, it would surely be a long time before the girl would end up earning such a right, to be free. She finally looked around at the group, thankfully the children were occupying themselves. Reah spoke once again. “Do not help her in any way, she can figure out how to help herself eventually,” she said. That’s what Reah had done when she was a yearling. She too had been alone with no help. She had healed herself and fed herself. Now this girl would learn to do the same. The dark queen turned then, looking over at the group that had formed. She couldn’t help but smirk a bit before she would stalk off. Leaving the girl to fend for herself. /exit Reah

She failed and even though she did all she could she failed to keep doing anything important. But with her current skill level, she didn't have many expectations in the first place, but at least she wanted to prove to them she was more than willing to fight for her home despite all the odds against her. She was done here, she was done and she wanted to leave now, to go tend to her own wounds. She was a novice medic but that was enough to keep herself healthy and how to tend to simple wounds like the ones she got from the other girl. She shakes her fur off, as she watched Reah that her turn to fight the intruder, but her going for imprisonment. She watched until the end and leaves when Reah did. It was a bit sad they weren't allowed to at least tend the girl..but who was she to defy her queen's command?
