Alexander's ears press back as he skids back, away from the lioness. The battle had been won, but the beast did not feel good about it. He had not come here to cause trouble, nor did he wish for it. He had come here to support the current leaders, especially @Tinúviel. Nose wrinkles as he shakes his head, trying to ignore the throbbing pain that seemed to radiate all over his body. "I am leaving, but you should know I was here to support their victory, not their downfall." Was being the key word. Blue eyes dance to Tinúviel then, brows furrowing a moment. After today, after what he had seen - he did not know if he was friend or foe. Tail lashes behind him, turning he moves to leave, hoping that @Lyric would not attack him from behind.

The war-torn woman lived for this shit. Fighting was in her blood, in her soul - it was what she'd been born to do. So long had she been sitting stagnant, her muscles and her body growing weaker, but since leaving Wolfbron she'd been trying to strengthen herself back up - and this was her first fight this year.

God if felt fucking amazing.

She felt his jaws enclose around her tail and she let out a muffle snarl, the pain erupting up her spine as the delicate appendage wriggled wildly within his mouth. Back legs would continue to try and kick at the back of his head to get him to let go, she lets go of his shoulders and tries to push herself up, "LET me fuckin' go then, dickwad!" The Valentine woman snapped angrily.

Caelum was satisfied enough when his paw connected with the white lion's face, scratching through the thin skin on its surface. It made his opponent release his bite, which was great. Both lions returned to all four paws, and just as Caelum was about to lunge forth and attempt a bite, he was met with a clawed swipe to the right side of his face. It stopped him in his tracks, and all he could think was: Payback?

As Alabaster tried to do the same to the other side of his face, Caelum turned his face to the right, feeling the male's paw strike into his mane instead. His opponent's claws left shallow wounds there, but thankfully the thick of his mane kept the wounds from going too deep. They still bled and still stung all the same, and with a newly clawed face and neck that both smarted with his movements, Caelum sought to end this.

He lunged forward with his paw raised and attempted to smack it upon the male's face, curling his claws so that if it did land, it did damage that satisfied him. He aimed for the right side of his opponent's face, seeking his eye to get caught in the crossfire.

Though, if Caelum were honest, he was never that lucky.

The first to approach her after she slid down into the sand was not one of her pride, but someone from the neighboring Cove. @Keligan spoke of an alliance, and it was something that Tiamat would be readily amenable towards. "Tinuviel and I will visit the Cove eventually," she rasped, nodding in agreement with the man. "After things are settled here." Exhausted was evident in the tired tones of her voice, and thankfully he did not linger, returning instead to his fallen pridemate before making an exit, back to their home.

A second lion, this one a woman drenched in the scent of the Summit (@Isla ♔), approached her. Tiamat's lips curled into a warning snarl, making it clear she would fight again if she had to, but the woman merely asked that she take care of her challenger's children, too, though she managed to do it in a snippy tone. Was this the reason that her challenger - Fernweh, supposedly - only carried the faded scent of the Summit? Either way, "The children will be safe here," she retorted, and the following glare made it clear that the Summit lioness should take her leave immediately. Not that the glare was necessary, as she was already leaving.

Then @Calypso approached, pregnant herself and wielding caution like a shield. The skilled healer dropped herbs before the tired queen, and after a reassurance that they would do nothing to the young she had hidden away, Tiamat nodded. "Thank you," she sighed before she took the medicine, swallowing it down so it could do its work. Tiamat's eyes strayed to her medic's swollen stomach before offering the woman a raised brow making it clear she did not have to linger if she didn't want to.

A commotion with one of the newer "members" of her pride catches her attention, and she noticed @Drena fighting @Dhaveira. Her brow creased in a frown and she turned her head to try and spot @Alaric. "Alaric?" she called before nodding her head to two women who were fighting. "Is she one of yours?" Because The paler woman was her Noble's prisoner, and she wasn't going to be too happy if the other woman was one of the Mire.

Then a child yelled and she turned her head to @Mithril. "Tinuviel will take good care of her," she promised the child, and before she knew it @Ghyslaine ♔ was there to try and calm him, followed closely by @Nero. "Are your siblings here?" she asked the dark-colored boy. "We will keep you safe, until your mother wakes up." She gestured to the fallen form of Fernweh in the sand and did her best to keep her voice even and gentle. She felt a little stronger from Calypse's herbs, and so her voice had a little more strength to it for the moment.

Lions continued to filter out, the main show over, and the fights were starting to wind down. She was relieved to see @Tinúviel approaching and smiled at the woman's concern. "I'm sure someone will help me," she chuckled, knowing that both Calypso and Carina would be available. "But the girl has no one if we don't help her." She shook her head. There were no hard feelings over the challenge. "I will stay to get a few more answers," she glanced at Alaric, "And then I will rest and heal."

This fight wasn't even a fight, pitiful even as things careen to a halt. Drena's fury is hardly sated and she glares down at the woman, angry that she hadn't even attempted to hold off her attacks. "You don't belong here." She hisses beneath her breath at @Dhaveira, "And I will take you where you need to be. I will return for you, that is a promise dove." The words came out in a harsh whisper for only the woman to hear; perhaps this had been a mistake but Drena was quick to sheath her claws, her stare boreing into her before turning. Just managing to catch the Queen's inquiries as she passes, "Don't worry Lady, she is just fine." Drena mentions to @Tiamat in passing before pausing once, "Congrats on your win." She adds, giving the woman a once-over before stalking forwards once more. If there was an issue with a friendly 'spar' then so be it, she would take it to the chin and move on. If @Alaric wanted to chastise her so be it but that would be a problem for another day, in the very least she needed to get the hell out of here before she did something really stupid. And the sooner she could get far away from the Lagoon and that temptress that had completely confused her the better.

He got quite a bit more than he'd aimed for in grabbing her scruff, but this was a more advantageous position for grappling (and didn't risk scarring her pretty cheek). Now that his wounds were aching, and the embarrassment of nobody coming to help him (and possibly being beaten by a tiny girl) was stinging even more, he was through being nice. Not that he'd ever been nice. But he'd tried and pretended. Now it was time to be firm. Successfully he peeled her away and discarded her with a whump like a banana skin. As she regained her footing, Aurochs growled with ears still back and head slightly lowered.

He assumed that should be the end of it - his size and weight proven - but she came at him again, wedging her tiny frame in such a way that she managed to dig her sharp little needles into the underside of his neck. It was away from anything vital for now... and that for now was getting a more ominous tone the more she laughed. Aurochs snarled and straightened his front legs to try to gain a bit more height while sharply trying to angle his head down with fangs seeking the peak of her scruff. It had worked before so why not try to throw her away again?

He was exhausted. Every muscle in his body screamed for this torture to end. Time seemed to drag by even though the fight itself was probably not even that lengthy.
This experience only served to prove just how out of shape Alabaster was. At least he wasn't yet out of breath. Not completely anyway; despite his flared nostrils and the heavy rise and fall within his chest.

The first blow struck but the second was apparently well anticipated. Dark strands of mane clung to his claws rather than flesh. His opponent seemed to share The Warden's wish in letting this ordeal come to a finale. He appeared to get a second wind, advancing once more and striking Alabaster in the face.
Alabaster roared in both pain and an attempt to muster up the last of his reserved energy. His left paw swung up once more in his own final attempt at landing a powerful blow to Caelum's face.

This fight was over he felt it. Letting go of @Alizabeth he felt his strength leaving him and as her claws dug into his skin his shoulders were a mess. He was a mess, but the deep claw marks in his shoulders were sure to scar over. Collapsing from the fight he snarled as he laid there looking at everything around him. Damn he failed to pick up the small white thing and toss her over the borderline. Failed to kick her to the curb and instead got humiliated by her in this battle. Eyes heavy he looked around him for a moment seeing that most had left but some still lingered. Finally he couldn’t take it and blacked out.
