The very blood in Sahir's veins felt as if it had turned to ice. The lion had sat atop a perch of the labyrinth when he spotted it: a new star, clear as day. He had blinked rapidly as if to clear his eyes, though the speck in the night sky remained fixed and bright. Without another moment of delay, he leaped from his perch and pressed forward in diligent pursuit of where this new star would lead him, his heart hammering in his chest all the while until he thought his eardrums might burst.

It did not occur to him until the labyrinth was far from his sight in his rearview that perhaps he should have called his wives over to help investigate. Sahir let out a growl of frustration as he pressed onward, lashing his tail as if to shoo away the thought. It was too late now. Whatever he found at the end of this trail was a message directly from the universe, cosmic dust pulled together to create... whatever it was, just waiting to be found.

Time passed quickly as he traversed Amaryllis with his guiding star ahead. Sahir eventually had to squint his eyes shut and blink away the tears that followed, his head beginning to ache from the strain of staring at one point continuously. Stubborn and unwavering, Sahir pressed on until the rocks and plains tapered off into grainy sand beneath his toes. He could smell the ocean before he could see it, that sour salt lingering in the air along with the aroma of fish carcasses. What's more, he could smell lions, and more than a few of them.

Descending down a small crater of rock, he finally got a view of it. Before him lay a sprawling cove of crystalline beach. Reverence overtook him as he stood, his jaws parting in a momentary gasp as he took in the sight. This was the moment he understood all. The vision that had him banished, the constellation leading to Amaryllis, the new moon warning of his new beginning, and now this new star above this cove: all of it illustrated the plan perfectly, leaving no question as to what he must do.

"ذلك لي", Mine, Sahir roared as if thunder clapped within his chest as he made his hasty descent down the rocks, taking his first steps within the land he had been destined to lead. He snarled and sputtered and whipped his tail behind him, taking up the warrior's stance as he waited for those who would try to deny him what the universe gave. There were always those.

She slipped forward from the shadows, curious to see who rose forth a challenge. Evangeline had no real ties to the Cove. Morally she was loyal to Ulla but the small grey lioness was intrigued to see her Sovereign in action. Real action.
The challenger was an unfamiliar face. But then again just about everyone here in Amaryllis was.

Got alotta nerve there, Hotshot. The corners of her lips pulling up as she took a calm seat. She had zero idea what he had roared out earlier so who knew if he even understood what she was saying now.

The call made her nervous, if only because her new home, which she had grown to love, was in jeopardy. She'd been patrolling, but the moment the roar echoed through the Cove she abruptly changes direction and beelined for the source, her paws kicking up sand and dust as she moves.

As she moved she chuffed for @Elías and @Dhaveira, their safety at the front of her mind since she had no idea who this challenger was. She burst into the scene, adrenaline crackling through her veins, and her eyes immediately trained on @Sahir. Though she could not answer the challenge, she would have willingly fought him then and there.

"Þú munt falla hér," (You will fall here,) she hissed at him in her mother tongue, her spine ridged with anger at the audacity of this foreigner. @Úlla had better win this.

The Hollow Sovereign arrives on the premise of being vigilant and in-the-know. Catching the call of a challenge in the air from an unknown voice to what he presumes to be another of the Sigrun's prides. Only making the assumption based on the fact that it was a coastal pride, as that seemed to be where they reigned and kept together. He arrived carefully, and cautiously, roaming the pride's borders as though questioning whether or not he would be permitted to attend. Jafar did not wish to intrude and come uninvited, but it was important to know the ins and outs of Amaryllis and this happened to be one of them. So he stood just outside the border and wandered until he could catch sight of something, or rather, someone. (jafar is at the borders, barely catching a glance of the event)

The roar would bellow, catching his attention on his way back to the mire. A detour wouldn’t hurt…would it? A grin would pull at his lips as he made his way through the terrain, nearing the cove that housed an enemy. The gladiator would take time in his arrival, pausing to roll in the dirt, to brush through the foliage to get rid of the stink of the Mire. Satisfied that his scent was sufficiently cloaked (to him anyway) he would continue. Quietly, he would approach, his dark form melting into shadows as he found a little nook to rest against. The challenge already held enemies, from the Cove as well as the man that Alaric had beaten for the Mire.

Ronin would tread carefully, keeping to shadows and to foliage that could help conceal him as he neared the battle ground. Once close enough to see, but far enough away he would hopefully go unnoticed, Ronin would settle, waiting for the leader to arrive and accept the challenge. Would this be another enemy knocked from their home? If so…whose doorstep would they land themselves at next? If not, perhaps he could offer the male a place to rest and recoup, to heal his wounds and gain an ally in the same moment. Time would tell what Ronin’s next move would be- for now, he watched and waited.

Another day, another pride challenge. He wasn't surprised by them anymore. He was willing to use them as a way to gather more information, though.

He was going to slip into the pride unnoticed, or at least attempt to, when the familiar scent of the Hollows caught him first. Might as well go sit with his pride, he thought. The male he spotted wasn't familiar, but Tobin approached anyway. "At least they are not our allies, but I cannot say I am pleased with the possibility of them losing their home so soon after the Lagoon fell," he commented. Perhaps it would bring another flood of members to their gates, which wasn't a bad thing for them but was sad for those who had been displaced.

"I am Tobin Kramer, lead advisor," he said to the man, glancing away from the impending fight to study him.

Well then. Seemed like she had just gotten here and someone was calling for the place. Maybe she was cursed? Wouldn't that be interesting? At least she didn't have as strong of an attachment to this place (or an attachment at all really) in case it did fall. If it didn't, then she'd have a great deal of respect for the woman she'd seen who had announced herself as sovereign. She was actually eager to watch her fight, come to think of it.

Ransom wasn't there at the fight, and she saw some lions sitting at the border in the distance. She was tempted to call out to them and ask if they were coming in anytime soon, but she didn't care enough. Instead she took a seat to watch what might happen.

She always enjoyed such thing. Calmly she would take a seat by the borders, just in by a few inches inside the pride. Not to bring problems she just wanted to watch closer, as her small size made it hard. Eyes of joy rested on the challenger, wondering who the ruler of this pride could be,who lived here and what else she had to think. But she havent come empty pawed, stones like those Bernard taught her about, one of black color. She created a crooked circle around her right eye and then another in the left one, feeling great doing such thing. Since she was introduced to it for the first time, she did it whenever she was able, this is just fund and she couldnt deny the wish to use herself as canvas for her newly discovered artistic skills.

We’re hell raising

The warrior woman had trailed behind the youngster @Kinki, having seen the child veer in the direction of a challenge. Though she thought it was educational for the young to bear witness to certain aspects of life as an adult she did not wish to leave the bairn unaccompanied and unprotected.
The slate lioness knew that she walked a very precarious line approaching the border of the cove, ears slid back across her crown as she arrived next to Ronin's young ward settling her rump to the sand so close that her side might brush up against Kinki's. A brief glance given to those gathered, particularly the challenging male.
The bairn appeared to be painting on herself, curious, the lioness leaned her skull down. "Ye can paint me too if ye want."
