There was one thing about this particular Tollaire that might have been different than the rest, Hestia held so much pent-up anger and frustration for reasons unknown to herself. It wasn't that she didn't enjoy her life she just found it hard to find joy in things around her. She preferred to be alone and when she wasn't well, it wasn't often that she was found without a scowl of displeasure on her face. But if there was anything that truly caught her attention and fascinated her it was blood. She loved fights, she loved feeling the tender flesh of another give way beneath her claws. It was what she lived for and hell it was technically the only thing she was really good at, sort of. There was still much to be done when it came to perfecting her trades. She moved across the hot sand, eyes narrowed before pausing nearby the first smooth stone she could find. The yearling would slowly and methodically begin to rake her claws against the rock's surface, sharpening them with each swipe downward. Her weapons were important to her and keeping them in mint condition was certainly at the top of her list. An ear would flick at the sound of approaching pawsteps and she paused for a moment, turning slightly so her eyes could land on the form of her father. "Can I help you?" She asks him blandly, turning her attention back to her claws all the while.

Drakon Tollaire

He hadn't paid much attention to his last litter and that was rather disappointing to the white beast himself. Surely to his children as well. He hadn't met for it to happen but it did and so here he was, being greeted by @Hestia in a bland manner as she seemed to sharpen her claws. "I've come to help train you." He wouldn't make the same mistake like he had with Ram and his sister's. Fiery jewels would watch his youngest and wait for her reaction. He had no idea what she was going for in her life but he wished to know now.

Truthfully Hestia didn't have any intentions of bonding with her father, any miniscule shred of her that had once wanted that was gone now. So, his arrival earned a meager flicker of her gaze before she would return back to the task of sharpening her claws. She did it with more vigor though now, slicing down precisely as sparks flickered around her paws. I've come to help train you. She huffed at him, a snort really as she paused for a second. "Train me? You've wanted nothing to do with me for the entire year of my life and now you want to train me?" She retorted before continuing, the irritation creeping through her veins. "Fine. Tell me, have you ever caught someone by the jugular before?" She wondered aloud. If there was anything her father could possibly entertain her with it was the idea of physically harming another. The battle, hell any battle, was the only thing Hestia had true interest in.

Her words hit home. But there was nothing on his face other than the curl of his lip. Forgive me, if keep this pride up and running and keeping the borders protected is keeping me from you. He would retort. Or would you rather be homeless? He would question. A small growl forming but he bit it back as she would ask him a question. In truth, Drakon had been in so many fights there was no telling if he really had gotten someone by the jugular or not. But how could she know that, Yes. He would answer, claws digging into the ground. Why were his children so hot headed with him? Don't worry he knew the answer. @Hestia

Would she rather be homeless? "Yes actually, I would. You can't get that time back, it's gone. Those memories we could have had, done. So yes father, I would have rather been homeless if it meant you being a father to me and my siblings." She snapped, pausing only when he mentions that he had in fact grabbed another by the jugular before. "What was it like? Could you feel their pulse?" She said then, her sharp green gaze completely focused on him for the time being. "If you can teach me how to fight and fight good.. well, maybe a part of me will be able to forgive you then."

Perhaps she was right. He had fucked up again. Putting his pride duties before his children - or more like his player is lazy and doesn't take the time to be active sorry guys, but anyways. Her words should've hurt. But he had heard them before, heard them from his oldest children and it was a numbing pain now. It felt like Death and yes I could. He would answer both of her questions, but even still her next words barely made an emotion flicker over his features. There was a time when Drakon would've gladly taken her forgiveness and ran with it but now? Now he just found that he fucked up with all of his children and was learning to live with it. Perhaps. A simple word to @Hestia.

It felt like death and yes I could. His words intrigued her, Hestia had always been fascinated by battle and any and everything that had to do with it. Though her father could not change the past he could change the future; she hoped that maybe their bond could be strengthened in time. Though Hestia didn't often show it, she did care about her family. She knew that family meant everything, especially with the Tollaires, and so she was optimistic that maybe their relationship could be repaired. Even if she didn't show it. "I want to be able to fight. I want to be the best warrior I can be.. nothing else matters to me." She offered to him then, finally moving her claws from the rock she had picked, satisfied with their sharpness for now. "How do you know when to kill someone? If I'm in a situation and it comes down to killing or sparing them .. how do I know what the right answer is?" She asked him then, it was something she had always pondered. If she would ever be in such a situation, would she actually have the balls to go through with killing someone? Would she be able to carry that weight on her shoulders?

Then we better start practicing now. Sparring whenever you get the chance will help you perfect your skill's as well has strengthen your muscles. He would advise towards her. Perhaps he could become her mentor, perhaps that would help their relationship. Mend their bond. Ears twisting as Drakon would watch her as her next question came across the air between them. How did he know when to kill someone? That was perhaps a question that he wouldn't be able to understand. That is hard to answer. When the moment comes, you'll know. He had wanted to kill Sarthak and yet it was him who had died instead. When it comes to sparring, you can ask, but normally in a spar your opponent will remove them self from the fight, but when someone is trying to kill you they won't stop until they succeed. He should know.

She hadn't asked her father for his help but now that he was here and offering it, she listened with ears turned towards him. Apparently, she would just know, but he had a good point when he mentioned her opponent wouldn't stop their efforts in attacking. If anything, Hestia knew that she needed to build up her stamina if only to hopefully outlast an eventual attacker. A real attacker, not someone she was sparring with. "Okay, let's practice then." She says to him evenly, moving to stand and put a good space between them so they could ready their defenses. Except Hestia didn't have intentions of making the first move, she would leave that to her father. This perhaps would be the most educational fight she would partake in, and she was ready for it.

She was ambitious. This one. Good. A smirk formed as Drakon would nod her head as her would move back enough to give her space and them to not be right there in each other so they can make moves. Ears falling flat in his mane to hide in there safely as he would move towards in a charge directly at his daughter. Though there was a big difference in size, Drakon wouldn't go easy on his daughter as he would attempt to ram his left shoulder into the center of her chest while also attempting to grab a hold of her right shoulder; aiming for the top of it.
