She made her way carefully through the rainforest. In her jaws a freshly caught bush pig, one who was still young, but not quite a baby. Perhaps reaching near it’s second year of life. Well it would have been if the orange faced lady hadn’t gotten to it. Carrying the meal through the green landscape she shook herself feeling the humidity cling to her in the summer afternoon. Coming to the side of a water source she moved to check on a food store clutch near it. Placing the pig in it she sorted the older meat on top of the fresh meat. Even removed some that were on the edge of going bad.

It was part of a zebra, a leg was all that was left of it but she put it aside nonetheless. It would be a good meal for herself if someone else didn’t come along while she was busy cleaning and snatch it up which she wouldn’t be upset at. No, not at all.

(vague re: her injuries)

Walpurgis limped slowly, but still very loudly, through the Rainforest with her usual regard for keeping to the path (she was not keeping to the path). She smelled a something, a stinky hog, bloody and still moving. Moving after Arjana's pawprints. She liked food and she liked Arjana so doubleplusgood! Her nose led to water and then along the banks until she came a messy scent of dirt, and @Arjana, and new-old food. That zebra haunch hadn't interested her yesterday but now that it had been moved, and therefore was New, it had her drooling. "Oooh! Arjana diggin' food!" she commented as she lurched, injury combined with greed combined with haste, around and possibly through the clay lioness trying to grab that hunk of meat.

Working on reorganization and seeing what the pride had food wise wasn’t something new to her. She used to do it quite often back at the bluffs. Mostly due to the pride being so rowdy that food was always needed to help with the healing. After all, if one was stuffing their face they couldn’t be fighting. Right? Well there was some she wasn’t so sure if that could be seen as true or not. Speaking of the devil. Ears perked as she heard Whopper and the orange faced lady looked at her with a smile. ”Taking stock of what we have in the stores.” She replied as she saw the lioness looking at the zebra hunch. ”Hungry? Have it.” She offered the woman. After all as Sovereign she wanted to make sure the pride knew she’d put them first before herself. “How are you doing? I am surprised you didn’t leave with everyone else.” She said calmly as she turned to face her. Sitting down she watched the woman carefully.

Whopper didn't hear shit about no stock because she was hellbent on that gristly piece of bone. @Arjana smiled and Whopper took that as permission and that was it. She slobbered around the bare end of it that was somehow greasy and dry at the same time. Her eyes half closed as she dragged it backward a stride and then plopped her haunches down with a sharp and regretful oof. She frowned but didn't let the expression get in the way of chewing. She was so distracted that all she heard was the end bit about everyone leaving. "They leave?" she queried, concerned enough to halt her chewing and look at Arjana with suddenly wide and pupil-dark eyes.

Keeping herself busy as Whopper took the hunch she smiled watching the woman. She wasn’t particularly graceful with the meal but who was she to judge? Arjana has been chest deep inside of an elephant before which wasn’t very lady like either. Chuckling silently to herself she just sat there with her head tilted to one side watching and listening around them. The reaction of the maned lioness wasn’t what she had been expecting. ”Have you not noticed?” She questioned with a raised brow. ”A lot of the pride left after Roarke was defeated, though with you being here I do hope that means you are staying.” She finally said with a hopeful voice. ”Please Wigglebutt won’t you stay?” Giving the other woman puppy dog eyes she watched her as she sat there.

Excellent. Not. Not only had she apparently been abandoned, again, by those who had left, she was in danger of annoying @Arjana by being too stupid to notice. Her ears wilted, black tufts withering. "They. They di'n't tell me. How'm I suppose to know... when they no say?" There had been far too much going on at the challenge for her to understand the import of what she had overheard. There had been multiple fights, and the cloying scent of blood, and all sorts of chaos. She was a little disappointed that she hadn't gotten the chance to fight, but mostly she was glad it was over. She didn't like strangers in her jungle.

"I dun even know where they went!" She became more distressed, leaving the haunch to fall from her maw and bounce soggily at her paws. "That mean. They dun want me?" Please say it wasn't so!

She hated putting doubt into @Walpurgis ‘s mind. The lioness had her annoying quirks but she didn’t deserve to be strung along like some old used worn out doll. The maned lioness before her wasn’t some toy to disregard when no longer useful and hearing that the others had left her here without even a care made her angry. Though as the woman spoke it sounded like she didn’t really understand what was going on. Arj knew the girl was a bit slow, but honestly that was okay as her passion and heart for fighting made up for it in her mind. “Whether or not they want you isn’t important for I want you. She wouldn’t linger on the harsh reality that the others had probably abandoned Whooper. “So please Wigglebutt won’t you stay in Firnen with me?” She asked as she looked at the lioness and paws at the food that had been dropped pushing it back closer towards the woman. “Also me calling you Wigglebutt doesn’t really install fear in our enemies does it? What is your name friend?” There she finally asked the real questions now. A brow raised curiously as she waited for a response.

The sore spot of her abandonment issues did feel important, and her heart remained downcast, but @Arjana was talking like a smile would cheer her up. Whopper twisted her ears forward and smiled a little. A grimace, stretched and forced, hopeful not for the return of the lost pride members but hoping that Arjana would respond well. Arjana wanted her in Firnen, with her. Which was good because Walpurgis was currently in Firnen with Arjana. "OK. We here. I'm here in Firnen, and you here with me. That's good?"

It seemed like it should be good. Unless Whopper was misunderstanding something which happened a lot. Usually Arjana made sense but this speech about installing and fear was a bit a confusing. Whopper understood that Wigglebutt was what Arjana called her, maybe because Walpurgis was too hard to pronounce. "We have an enemy? That why you call me Wigglebutt? Like a... a lie? A good lie... so they don't know my real name?" She glanced around, not sure she should be speaking her real name if enemies were around. Not sure she should be speaking at all. Maybe it was smashing time instead.

The orange faced lady never really did know how to truly interact with the slow minded woman before her. Still it seemed like keeping things simple was best. @Walpurgis seemed to understand food and fighting though not in the most elegant of ways. Still that was good enough for Arjana. Hearing the reply of the lioness she let out a soft and small giggle. That wasn’t the response she had expected, but it was appreciated. “Hmm, yes. Very good.” Nodding her head as she spoke she sucked in a deep breath to calm herself from her giggling. A lady should be composed and not laugh like that when speaking about serious matters.

After trying to ask the woman what her name was it became clear that perhaps she didn’t ask the question correctly. As a question of enemy was asked in return. “Yes. We have enemy. You ever come across a lion or lioness with last name of Dieuonné feel free to pick a fight.” Even if the whole family wasn’t guilty of the crimes of Vermier she didn’t much care. To her the whole family was the enemy and fair game for Whooper to nom on. “Though I call you Wigglebutt because you never told me your name.” There maybe saying it in more simple terms would get the what is your name question across. Maybe not though.

Walpurgis squinted at the sound of laughter. Sometimes that meant she had done things right, and tension was relieved. Sometimes it meant she was about to get blindsided. She was already lonely from remembering how the other pride mates had left. She couldn't pretend a smile anymore, and broke into a saggy pouting frown. "Dun laugh @Arjana... I dunno what that means. You happy or not?"

Her downcast gaze happened to cross the haunch she had dropped. A tendril of scent billowed into her nostrils. They flared and the corners of her mouth twitched. Was she hungry? Angry? Maybe. The haunch was the residue of a defeated ENEMY, and she stomped it vengefully when she heard that wonderful word. Enemies. They had enemies. If she stomped the enemies then everyone would like her. And she would get war prizes and stuff. Pretty ladies who would have to like her. "I'mma SMASH do-don'ts. Can I get 'em as a prize? Their ladies are pretty?" It was an important quality in a lady to be pretty.

"Oops," she apologized upon realizing her error. She'd forgotten to tell the other female her name. Oops indeed. Enemies had to know your name to be afraid of you, and friends needed to know your name for... reasons? Exchanging names was a friend thing. "You my friend so you can call me Whopper cause only friends get to do that."
