The healer had everything settled, ready to help hee cousin after the braveness he showed against the lioness who aimed to take their home. She wanted to give him her thanks in the best way she had in mind, to heal him. To amend his wounds. She felt useless in her stage, but she wasn't going to let him be in pain any longer. Her den already had coconut sides with water, dried out cape aloe leaves and FRANKINCENSE. All what she knew would help Aquilas wounds. She called for him with ears up, calm eyes and taking a deep breath. She needed a clean mind, and a loving heart. Fear was still here and she feared more challengers came to them, but she was going to be there for him and everyone of her home. She was a valour even if she wasn't as amazing as Nymeria or Talisa. She felt nervous but happy to be able to give him the care he deserved and everyone did really.

The battle came and went, a blink of an eye and the moment had passed. He suffered nearly as much for the quick racing of emotions as for the physical harm. He was left with moments of nothing while feeling vacated and his body, against his own will, began to succumb to exhaustion. He let himself be led to Tullia's den and was barely in the sanctuary when he began to lower himself to the ground, his belly flat on the ground and limbs out in all directions. His chin was laid down on the ground between his forelimbs and his silver eyes did not even try to open. "I'm-" His voice came out with a tired huff of breath. "-I'm ok." He assured.

She waited for him, ready to get him the medical care he needed. She smiled as she saw him come but barely into her den, he seemed tired, done. She didn't judge him at all, after a long fight everyone could be in such pain, tiredness. "Just rest, i take care of everything else." And like that she began by checking his wounds, which would need to be cleaned out first. There she used the sap of the frankincense which was perfect for killing any germs and infections. It was an antiseptic for wounds. She tried her best to be as gentle as possible. "This will itch as it will kill the bacteria and clean the wounds. I'll wait some minutes so it clean it enough to be dressed." She waited for any questions and to make it settle and clean the wound before progressing. @Aquila

Except for the movement of his sides up and down the bronze lion was still on the ground. For a brief moment one might think Aquila had fallen asleep. The scent of her herbs in the air lulling him deeper into a calmness and relaxation. Finally some sign that he hadn't drifted off- his voice rose from his parting lips. "It feels fine." Too tired to care about the itching, slight feeling of irritation, over his open wounds. "Are you okay Tullia?" One of his silver eyes cracked open and peered in her direction. He looked for signs she was stressed, that the fight had brought back bad feelings for her.

"I'm glad." She said as she kept waiting some more. It meant she would be able to work without bothering him too much. He had already suffered too much for her to add more into it. She then felt like it would be okay to proceed. And like that she took the cape aloe which were perfect for wound dressing. "This is cape aloe, it can be used to dress wounds. I'll put these on the wounds. It wi keep them clean, but they need to be changed every three days of of they fell off." She would place the leaves into his wounds, careful not to make it too hard, soft and gentle was her winner recipe. Ears switched at his questions.

He was family so she didn't feel to uncomfortable but she didn't want to worry him more. "I'll be fine. I did have an episode of fear but today is Aquila's day. Not Tullia's" She said laughing a bit, just to help with the mood though she doubted it was wise. @Aquila

A bit of the medicinal knowledge went in one ear and out the other. He retained as much that he have to have it changed every couple of days. As was usual in healing, it wasn't a one and done type situation. Aquila's bronze head barely nodded his understanding and gave indication he had heard her. Something in him still seemed utterly exhausted, enough that he would have complied with anything without really comprehending it.

His wounds were not his primary concern anyways. "You're sure?" He responded with hopefulness. "I've been worried about you Tullia." Seeing her like this, working and back partly to herself, was some relief if only it would stick around. Having her a bit back to herself would be an unforeseen reward to this event.

She finished with her work for now, not wanting to stress the wound any further. She could give him medicine but the ultimate power of recovery belonged to his body and how well he would allow it to rest and heal properly. She was just helping the process of healing but she wanted tk give him the space to heal on his own. "Let me know if you need anything else. I'll be here whenever you need anything or feel sick. All i can tell you is to rest, drink water constantly, and keep it easy. Your body needs time to heal." She wanted to give the best of tips she could. Age wanted him to be alright but it was also up to him.

Returning to the conversation she smiled warmly at her cousin. "I appreciate your interest in my wellbeing @Aquila. But I'm fine I promise. I'll be okay because I'm here with you all. My family. I'm sure I'll be back to the track of things with time." She sat down to contemplate how well the wounds ended up dressed. Checking for any missed places or if any adjustments was needed. "What about you? How have you been? Apart from your last confrontation?" She stretched her forelimbs a bit to let go of the remaining tension from the challenge. That did bring in her a big amount of anxiety..

For now - rest. Don't worry I'll get plenty of that. He mumbled softly, feeling the greater pull of his body when he mentioned and thought about getting rest than before. He couldn't think of anything more he wanted or neede right now, surely a meal after he woke up from a good chunk of sleep. He was just simply too wiped to want anything more of her, or of anyone. Thank you Tullia. He said appreciately, hazarding a glance down towards his limb and elbow to peer through half shut eyes at her handy work there.

She was skilled, and he felt proud and happy to see himself patchd up. Ideally he wouldn't need it but there was a certain peace in his tired state that he felt. He had succeeded, and so too had she in her own way. You haven't fallen out of practice. He said with a sile, noticing she also was looking at the wounds there freshly dressed, numb with her touch and from the lingering bits of adrenaline and endorphines in his body. I was unsettled, angry... this helped. It had given a direction to his anger and emotions that he, and most of his family probably, had lost out on when trying to process what had fate had succumbed them to in the winter. I hate that this is what we ust do but I am proud we can. Together. Sleepily, and with light grunt of pain, he lifted his head and reached forwards to brush on hers.

She nodded satisfied for her work, she felt like it was enough for now. She couldn't recall when it was the last time she treated someone way before her traumatic experience. After that the one who needed her care was herself,feeling like the world wanted to eat her whole. But right now she feel better, calmer towards her mental and physical wellbeing. She smiled at her cousin brightly, being this one of the first times in weeks she smiled as she used to. "And i got plenty of rest these weeks. It wouldn't be fair to the pride for me to keep being hidden. I'll try to get back to my duties as a medic for you all if you'll let me of course." Even if he didn't she would still do it. "The thanks are to be yours. Thank you for protecting all of us all of this time." Not only on the inkeodatw times but back then she always felt like he always looked over to their safety.

"Thankfully I haven't. And i hope i never do so I can keep keeping you all healthy and happy." Even knowing there were even more capable medics than her out here. @Aquila

I'd rather see you as a Noble of the pride than just our medic. Aquila suggested in a bit of clarity. His silver eyes watching her eyes, curious and hopeful she'd consider his offer. Like all of us, you're overcoming what happened. Figuring out just how they were meant to function in this strange newness, how to hold onto who they were and celebrate that. How to change enough to survive. Aquila wondering all the while, and dancing back and forth, between if surviving was worth the change or if they'd all be better off dead Things can't go back to how they were before. But they could become better... Tullia could become more.

Don't think that means you wouldn't need to keep helping patch me up though. The afterthought was added quickly, jokingly. He laughed a little but a pain struck through his chest and snuffed it out. Ow- He said in a small, and pathetic, voice.
