Loyal, silent hound descends upon the fray like a moth to the flame, tagging along after the scent of his Oracle. The promise of violence in the air was like catnip, and he the feral tomcat that yearned for that sweet hit. Settling a few feet away from @Ofelía, Halvor would grunt in quiet acknowledgement of his superior before turning to watch the battles. One face - Saga - he recognized vaguely from a long while ago, but the others? They bore no relevance. Even upon noticing @Hákon out of the corner of his peripheral - just as the Oracle had - he would not make a bid to move to greet his clanmate. The reunion would no doubt come later. And so he would simply rock back on his haunches, expression impassive as he waited for the climax.

Or, perhaps, lack thereof - he knew better than to get his hopes up with these things.

He has no horses in this race, but would gladly saunter along to watch the challenge all the same. He had nothing better to do, truthfully, and if his senses were correct @Kazimir was also lurking around. Lo and behold, it would not take long for the bear to find his companion, and with a huff Ilarion would draw up to sit alongside the other brunette titan with a grunt of acknowledgement and a friendly jab to the shoulder. "Seems we've missed most of the fun, doesn't it?" Pale green gaze flits from one brawl to the other. "But perhaps not all of it," he trailed off thoughtfully, brow arching.

Trouble was stirring in Amaryllis. Lyric had been taking a stroll around the borders of the cove when they caught a trace of their leader's scent on the breeze, causing the hairs on their spine to stand on edge. They did not waste time in trotting in the direction of the call they had heard, trying to find a set of tracks to follow to where they suspected they would find Morrigan.

While Lyric did not exactly know the lioness yet, they had already pledged their allegiance and worried what this call might mean for her safety. Their peach-pink nose twitched as they drank in the scents around them, finally finding a set of tracks that led all the way to a rocky and treacherous territory quite similar to the one that had led into Amaryllis where Cassandra first recruited them. They studied the rocky mouth of the entrance to what appeared to be a system of caves, though it was difficult to tell from the outside, where a large group of lions had gathered and Lyric could smell even more lingering nearby. It seemed that they were an audience of sorts for a series of brawls within. What are you doing, Morrigan?

he rips his haunch from her grasp and drops it to the ground but not without losing tatters of flesh. she swipes her tongue across her bloodied lips and curls her lips further back at the foul tang of the cursed blood in her mouth. foul. they both batter one another's blind side and neither seem to mind, though they're equally pained by the reminder of since-healed scars. the new gashes opened overtop of the old make them burn all the hotter, sweeter.

he suddenly moves quickly, his leg jerking away from her jaws so only her upper canines glance off his wrist as it drops down. frustration gnaws at her and she swings her head up to her left to abort the downward lunge to follow it. just as she does this, eulalia's open jaws are swinging for her neck. they meet there, his jaws slicing through the left side of her face, starting at her cheekbone and tearing through the base of her ears and pinching the skin and fur just behind her ear where it meets her neck. a snarl of pain escapes her, jaws wide with the sound, and her vision goes red at the onslaught; acting more on adrenaline and instinct than any conscious choice, saga retaliates.

as eulalia pushes forward she tries to duck down and to her right, hoping to forcibly rip the bit of skin he has caught between his teeth free. it will surely leave fur and flesh behind if she does pull away. simultaneously she shoves against her haunches and tries to launch herself forward, alongside her opponent, and aim her open jaws at the soft skin just behind his rib cage where it curves into the delicate skin of his stomach. she will eviscerate this bastard and leave him for the crows.

Alizabeth hadn't come here with the intent to do anything but watch this fight. The call had been familiar, from Alaric. She had no real interest in why he was challenging for a pride, but rather she just wanted to see how he'd fair in a fight against someone other than herself. Body moved with a swift grace, odd when coupled with her rough appearance. But through and through she was a fighter.

The woman was about to reach the area of the fight when something else caught her attention. Brows furrow, the sound odd and alarming, but as she drew closer - the sight of Nero on his side, convulsing caught her attention. Panic swept through her, eyes growing wide as she rushes in to her son and began examining him, a lump in her throat.

Jaws part as she calls out, Help! Someone fucking help! She doesn't care if it draws attention to herself. Nero was...something was wrong. Someone needed to fucking help him. Right. Now.

Eulalia's canines find purchase in the flesh of her left cheek, slicing through fur and skin. The snarl elicited from his opponent is as much of a reward as it is a warning, and Eulalia prepares himself for the onslaught. Ears pinned back tightly against his skull, his brows furrowed to help protect his one good eye, jaw tightening in an attempt to hang on tighter to her flesh.

The jarl does not stop, hoping the force of his strike acts as a battering ram to shove her backwards. Forelegs splayed for balance, he is too clever to lean all his weight into her; this is just as well, as the woman ducks suddenly down and away on his left. Eulalia's clamped jaws rip through her as she tears her own flesh away from his grip, blood spraying his face as she does so. Tufts of fur fall from her neck. His lower jaw parts again quickly, marring any direct line to his throat, and his twists his head and forelegs to follow her to the left.

She dove along his left side, aiming for his soft belly. Eulalia once more pivots his hindquarters away from her quickly, but her jaws make contact anyways with his soft flank, the area of flesh between his last rib and his knee. Snarling in pain, the jarl attempted to ram his left shoulder into her neck or shoulder to jar her, simultaneously diving with outstretched jaws in an attempt to clamp them down on the top of the base of her neck.

He could feel his claws dragging over his opponent's body as Roan fell to his right side. Everything felt like it was happening in slow motion. Seconds ticking by as his teeth ripped from the flesh of Alaric's withers. Inch by inch the Hodari's body grew closer to the ground. Would this even work, or was he just setting himself up for a kill shot? Finally, his shoulder came to a deafening thud against the hard ground, but the challenger did not come with him. They had disengaged one another as the pale male threw himself in the other direction. A hard kick hit Roan squarely in the jaw, sure to cause some bruising while also leaving behind claw marks across his chin. Knowing that his opponent was on the ground, too, though, made the Hodari feel like he had bought himself a small window of time.

Scrambling back up to his feet, the mauve lion had managed to get up faster than Alaric. The pale lion, in fact, actually looked a little dazed from his fall. Maybe he had gotten distracted by something, or hit his head on the way down. Whatever the case, Roan was seizing the opportunity. As his own body begged him to stop, blood soaking his mauve coat, Roan pushed himself to stand over the challenger. A tense paw aimed to press hard against the side of @Alaric's neck with claws greedily extending through the man's thick mane. That prickling feeling of flesh beneath his talons would be the throat that Roan could so easily rip apart at the moment, but that was not the kind of man he was. "You are done here," the king hissed with his muzzle near the stranger's ear. Then with one last shove, Roan would push himself away from the challenger.

Only then, with his fight over, was the Hodari finally able to take in everything else around him. His body turned towards the masses, the cavernous Hollow behind him. No one had been here yet when Roan ran into battle, but now? Now there was a crowd. Not only a crowd, but another fight as his minty gaze landed on a fight between Saga and a male he didn't recognize. Could these things ever just be one and done? Though the mauve lion found his family on the sidelines, it was @Magnus that drew his attention most. If anyone knew what was going on with the other fight, it would be the former Sigrun male. Aches and pains seeped into every crevice of the Hodari's body as he made his way towards the colossal man, happy to see @Lysander nearby as well. The wound across his belly was felt with every step, but Roan forced himself to ignore it a little longer. Even though he had won his fight, Roan knew he couldn't simply leave the vicinity with the other fight still going on. Chaos could erupt further at any moment. Finally, he reached the small group of Magnus, @Morrigan, @Hrefna, and Lysander, attention directed first and foremost at the colossal black male. "What is that fight about?" questioned as he nodded over his shoulder towards the death match. There was no time to waste in being indirect with his inquiry. He cared little about his own fight now. If a Sigrun was in a fight, then the Hodari were there to help.

the blood that sprays eulalia pumps down her nape, wetting the fur to her muscled neck and the pain that radiates from the wound goes in time with her heartbeat. boom, boom, boomboomboom- on and on, quicker as she realizes it, with the adrenaline singing through her and making her veins work harder. the big beast moves fast, from experience no doubt, and as she lunges, he begins to pivot away once more. he's more keen to dodge than she is and a part of her rallies against him screaming coward! he's not, of course; simply smarter than the rage-fueled sigrun, more willing to dodge around and adjust grips than try to barrel through the pain and damage to get the desired hold.

she's happy to lose more than an eye to bring the bastard to his knees.

her fangs snag into the skin behind his rib, not deep enough to disembowel him, and her displeasure is obvious in the snarl that escapes her. she releases him almost immediately, swinging her own hips to her right and trying to lunge forward again to doggedly chase his delicate area. but before she can lunge, he rams her left shoulder with his own and it shoves her further to her right, forepaws crossing briefly as she stumbles with an oof. his shove, matched with her hind end pivoting, means that his grab is off. he gets nearly the same place he held before, just higher. his grip slams into the upper left side of her neck, just behind her ear, and she looses a roar of pain as the already wounded area screams in pain.

she doesn't bother trying to rip herself free this time. instead she attempts to step closer into his side, still doing her best to hold to the T positioning, and force his neck at an awkward, uncomfortable angle to help encourage him to let go if she's lucky. as she does, slashes out with her right forepaw, trying to slice them along his left side, aiming for the same place she's ripped with her fangs. her tail is lashing back and forth, hind legs spread wide, to help her keep her balance while he grips the skin of her nape.

The jarl moves with practiced ease, his many many years of experience in combat lending their merits in such a dire moment. This is not the first beast who has craved his blood and tried to strip his life from him, but even now Eulalia can feel his age catching up to him. The stomach ulcers that plagued him decided that now would be an excellent time to resurface, though Odhgrimm's many potions had staved them off for a good while. This was also the first true battle he had been in since losing the sight in his left eye, though he had tested his skills over and over in practice combat since, and it took everything in his power to not let his bloodlust take over and cause crucial mistakes.

The big Sigrun snarls frequently, her vocalizations a punctuation on her vicious attacks. Eulalia's shifting caused her to release his tender flank soon after puncturing it. His shoulder rams into her, causing her to lose balance, and his jaws eagerly snap into the upper left part of her neck behind her ear and cheekbone.

The lioness sidesteps again, maintaining the awkward angle that Eulalia fought with such frustration. Taking a heavy step to his right in an attempt to face her full on and maintain his grip on her neck, Eulalia's main thought was to keep his delicate underbelly away from her. Her forearm slashes out, tearing slices through the already wounded flesh of his flank.

Eulalia attempted to clamp his jaws tighter upon her neck and would give a hearty shake in an attempt to render the flesh further. He'd wounded it before, and wanted to make her weep. He released her neck regretfully, unable to maintain a great hold due to their positioning, but kept his jaws parted at the ready to help obscure his throat. His hind legs were still set slightly apart and squared for balance, tail held out behind him for balance. Eulalia aimed a heavy blow with his right claws, for the left side of her face.

A bloodstained, crazed sneer was frozen on the jarl's face, his eye glittering with a savage invitation to meet her doom.
