perfection is thy name, an epitome of the ideal miroslav woman. obedient to father, disdainful of your sisters' behavior - fanatic about upholding and improving the family name. ready and willing to do anything that might be required towards that end. septima cannot think of anything more fulfilling than doing her part for the family, and frequently reminds her sisters to behave.

diantha, in particular, is a source of stress to septima - her sister's lack of decorum or manners, and willful disobedience of their father, makes septima's head spin. the only time she stoops to physical violence ( because in her mind a princess ought to use words when possible, rather than rolling about in the dirt with someone like a commoner ) is when one of her sisters pushes too far.

with regards to her half siblings, she is tolerant and kind; they have been through much, velkan and hillevi, and she has no desire to make an already bad situation worse. she will do her best to befriend them, if possible, but if they wish to be left alone she will respect that. when other half siblings come along, from other seneca wives, septima will be just as kind and welcoming. more miroslavs can only mean good things, after all.

ever the poised and regal lady, septima as an older sister will mostly involve her sharing any knowledge she has that she's found particularly useful. that, and happily babysitting or taking her little siblings on adventures as long as seneca is okay with it. as a step-daughter, she is much more forgiving than her sisters seem to be. not obsessed with their mother being The One True Wife, septima welcomes all of seneca's wives with open arms.

in her mind, the more wives he has, the more mothers she gets to have, and how is that a bad thing? well, aside from maybe getting scolded by fifteen parents at once if she ever misbehaves. aside from that risk, though, she can see no downsides to the multiple wives. in actuality, she finds herself hoping that her future husband will take at least a second wife aside from herself; it seems like fun to have a sister-wife. of course, she would never dream of pushing for that to happen.

it is not her place to tell her husband what to do; she knows that, and accepts it. she is eager, regardless, for her day of matrimony - knowing that in marrying she is contributing to her family. knowing that in marriage, she will get to have cubs of her own, and that is her fondest wish. as a matter of fact, she will pursue the trade of nursemaid so as to better know how to care for both her younger siblings and her own cubs; she has a nurturing streak, does septima.

it is not readily apparent in all her actions, but she would kill and die for her family, and seeks to constantly improve herself and her relationship with each member of it. she sees little reason to be competitive or nasty towards her siblings - shouldn't a family be united? stronger together than apart. that being said, septima will leap to the defense of her family any time it is required... except if a member of her family has done something idiotic.

she does not believe in rewarding stupid, and if a sibling pokes a rhino and then gets themselves chased, she's not going to help them out of their predicament. there is such a thing called consequences, and if that sibling winds up trampled? well, as far as she's concerned, that's natural selection - and a welcome removal of a moron from her family tree. she also tends not to leap in when a member of her family is clearly and objectively in the wrong.

much as she's loyal to her family, she's also not going to reward bad behavior by reinforcing that it's okay. with any sisters, she is happy to tell them off when they act up, but with brothers, she will mostly just give them a disapproving glare or two. when she has her own cubs, however, she will discipline them equally; they cannot learn any better if they are not taught, and her children are not going to be awful rats if she can help it. all in all, septima strives to be as perfect and standard-raising as possible.

after all, it is her duty to be an example of how to behave.

SEPTIMA MIROSLAV

tropes: the ace, deconstructed; fatal flaw: pride and wrath; her own worst enemy

Perfection. Excellence. This is what is asked of her, what her blood demands. She has been told she is exceptional and so she is, a level above those around her. With her arrogance she feels an immense security that she is a supreme being, a deity on earth whose purpose in life is to reign. Strength, after all, is within her blood. Her ego is buffered by natural talent - a prodigy in most things, except for tasks in which she lacks patience. She's clay to be sculpted, molded into whatever is best - be it wife, mother, warrior, queen. Septima Miroslav will be the best. At her core she is wired to please her father and protect her sisters. At times this may turn her into a slight teacher's pet, eager to please the right people. In particular she may be at odds with Diantha from time to time, supportive perhaps of her objectives of supremacy but misaligned with her tactics or her ways of displeasing daddy dearest.

In her youth she will feel herself immortal, invincible. At some point, she will find herself revealed to her own imperfections. Panic will seep into her throat, biting down and choking her. Though she is beautiful and strong, she will suddenly develop a competitive edge with those around her. The only way to be safe is to be the best. If you are not the best, it is so easy for someone above you to push you down. She's a combination of superiority and inferiority wrapped into one, believing herself above others and terrified not to be.

Beyond her strength and natural gifts, she is immensely intelligent and strategic. Whether it's hunting or foraging, war or storms, she will grow into a woman with a plan. That is to say she may not respond well to said plans being disregarded. If her strengths are denied, she has little issue stepping back and letting the plans of others blow up in their faces, perhaps with a shrewd I told you so coming their way.

Manners are beyond her, at least until conditioned. Septima has no use for niceties and politeness, and instead opts for brashness and honesty where possible. These are the most efficient ways to speak, but her words so often sound like brutal bombs. She's a smart child, observant, but will grow to have a vicious whip for a tongue. At her surface she care little for others, her actions often seeming harsh and cruel. She is not everyone's cup of tea. However, at the core of her heart she loves deeply and truly, though her ways of showing this are unconventional. It may be that she pushes someone into water to teach them how to swim, or screams at them for being stupid enough to get sick before leaving food outside their den. This will not earn her popularity, but she's never cared for the opinion of the rabble.

Only one thing matters - victory. All else is white noise.

- I really think she will be quite family-centered in a tough-love type of way - at her core she'll live and die for her sisters & father & the Miroslav name. If demanded of her, she'd play whatever role is needed. Her trades will depend on what is most useful for her family, but she will be capable of fighting no matter what.
- At some point she will have some sort of life-threatening even that reveals she's mortal. This will create a dual superiority-inferiority conflict within herself. This will likely also be driven by her sisters & her relationship to them.
- She'll probably see most people as stupid, but have deep close affection for her sisters & perhaps a group of friends/loyalists.
- I want her to have a crush but she doesn't understand how that works. Either she will use violence to attack & assert dominance as a way to gain their respect, or she'll seek to destroy whoever she perceives as "their enemies" as a way to demonstrate her usefulness.

Strangely endearing, as though she'd consumed all wholesomeness from her sisters in the womb. Septima lacks the necessary spine to be physically confrontational and instead leaves the fierceness to the other girls. After all, someone has to redeem the family name from the clutches of her sisters. Septima will lean towards a pacifist lifestyle and adore the simple things in life, choosing to forego the life of violence and chaos for one of nurturing and healing. Her purpose in life is to heal and act as a beacon of light in a terrible world clouded with darkness, to bring forth spring even when Persephone has returned to the underworld for the winter.

Septima is proud to be a Miroslav woman. She will embody every fiber of the namesake and be obedient to her husband (whoever daddy picks, of course, because he knows best) but maintain a strong and opinionated soul. Although she is more meek than her sisters, she is by no means a pushover. Determination and tenacity will push her to succeed in all areas of her life -- from her trades of choice to being the best daughter, wife and mother a Miroslav could be. There is a stubborn streak in her courtesy of Genya, but unlike her mother, Septima does not have a leadership bone in her body. She will be happy to simply coexist in the pride without needing to claw her way to the top, finding more important things to concern herself with in the matters of women. Septima will believe ruling is a man's job and will be happy to keep it that way.

Above all else, she seems to bring honor to her parents. The opinions and feelings of her father alone will alter the course of her future, ever the obedient and gracious princess. Although the role she plays may not be grandiose, Septima understands that every Miroslav woman is to be revered. She will hold her head high above the others even in the most trying of times, never turning her back on the ways of her family.

Prim and proper, Septima is graceful and a bit obsessive over hygiene. Appearances are everything and hers is a top priority. Typically, she will take up to an hour each morning grooming herself to perfection and readjusting her crown. A princess does no one any favors by looking a mess, and is it impossible to deny by the way she carries herself that she is royalty in every meaning of the word.

Personality;
Septima is the only one of her sister not hellbent on sending daddy dearest to his early grave. No, she’s far to busy being the one trying to keep her beloved brazen sisters in line. The amount of times in a day she has to chase after them- well if she got a shiny rock each time she’d drown in the darn things. Constantly yelling after her sisters about- “Don’t attack that cub Dia- daddy will be after your tail” or “Vicky! Don’t leave! We’re meant to stay here! Do you WANT mama to get cross”. Honestly it’s difficult being the well behaved angel child- especially with such uncontrollable siblings like hers. Real pains in her arse- she meant bum- causing all this chaos. Still, she wouldn’t let anyone mess with them. If Diantha and Victoria attack someone, she’ll attack them as well. Even if she does have a “I can’t believe you two have dragged me into this shit” face while she does it. The only one allowed to mess with her siblings is her. Anyone else is crazy, in the wrong and must be punished.
So what if her sisters started it.
Septima is finishing it- and she doesn’t care how many jaws she has to break! Mess with HER sisters- you mess with HER.

She is the fierce protector- the compassionate one. Even if you are the one who’s caused the issue she won’t hear of anything being your fault. Her job in the family is to be the presentable one, seemingly meek (sike- bitch!) and well behaved. She’ll do anything to bring pride and a good opinion about them to her family. She can easily go from Satan’s spawn- messy fur, yelling profanities and the like, to being well kept, soft but sternly spoken and the heart of a nation. It’s her job to keep this shit show in line after all. Someone has to keep up appearances. In fact, she is mostly an angel inside and out. A true angelic beauty. So if she’s caught doing something bad, please I beg you, look to see witch of her siblings has made her act wayward. “It’s her fault Daddy.” or perhaps she’ll try and get them all out of trouble. “Ever so sorry mama, Vicky, Dia and I didn’t KNOW that we were doing something naughty.” They did.

She truely is, the only thing keeping poor sen from going bald. Dragging her sisters in line…. even if it is sometimes just because she saw her parents coming towards them.

But then again we can’t always be angels all the time- the stress of being perfect isn’t always good for ones health.

The one thing I will say about this charming princess is that is she does get a little cross, don’t blame her for the odd swear or rudeness. She never meant to be rude. At least, not if it would get her in trouble. In reality she can be just as bad as her siblings, using a finders keepers moral and overall being a little bratty. She must have been ill at the time . The heat, it got to her brain pops!

Her role within her pride;

Septima considers being a princess a high privlage. A chance for only the most deserving of cubs, no matter how long it lasts. The loyalty to her pride is undying. Strong and loyal. Once she becomes a yearling she will really begin to delve herself into contributing towards the pride, and making up for her sisters shortcomings when it comes to the behaviour department, often trying to talk to her father about alliances and the like. Even if she proves to lack talent in hunting, she would try and pull together hunts often to help provide food to them. In many ways she will be the perfect little ruler, keeping ties with their allies strong, and making sure their enemies- go to sleep for a really long time if they even dare to pay a little visit.

Her goals for herself in this aspect are just as high as her family loyalty. When she is grown she will no doubt marry a man of her father’s choosing and take it in stride to raise a new generation of prince and princesses for them.

Relationships;

Daddy; She’s eager to please him, wanting to prove she’s even better than any lame son. (Not that she’d be upset by another brother, even from another mother) She prides herself on being less likely to cause a scene. She is forever on her very best tippy top behaviour around those she must impress after all! She’s a total daddy’s girl, often sneaking out from her sisters grasp to shuffle away to sleep besides him at night.

Mommy; Genya can try, but septima is arguably less close to her other parent. She loves her however she does like to hang around her father more often. Still, she will often sit quietly besides mama whispering gently about her day and the shit her sisters got up to, tales of laughter and joy.

Diantha and Victoria; Her dear Dia and victorious Vicky, she loves her siblings even if they are a massive handful! They’re her handful. And if anything happened to them she quite literally would kill half of the world to avenge them. She tries her best to keep her sisters safe and well behaved-

She deserves a medal for even trying.

Solvi, Hillevi and Velkan; She tries very hard with her half siblings. Even if they don’t react well. She tries to get along with them and make them feel like they belong- a little out of pity. She only met solvi once but is a little disappointed she lost her half sister. She wouldn’t ever want to lose any of her siblings half or full. Even if they aren’t as close as she is with Vicky and Dia. Now they are in the Andal she will try very hard to befriend them and make them feel a bit better. Hey, maybe she’ll even teach them some of her best insults or naughty words. No promises!
