Alva had thought of bear and the desire they had to one day have young, and she knew that before she could do any of that that it would be mandatory to secure a rank for herself with in the pride. With bear and her lover and Úlla as a future mother in law, she very easily could probably just have asked for the rank of noble, very easily indeed. But her father didn’t raise no weak link, a delicate looking daughter maybe, but not weak. Never! Her father had only ever been truly right about one thing- people would fear her wrath- if not just because of her Feirce tounge and rumour spreading nature.

She let out a challenge roar. “I wish to challenge for noble.” She called out- let’s see if anyone takes her on.

The call for battle is about the most interesting thing he's heard so far since following Ulla back to her rocky home. The cavernous tunnels of the hollow had some unexpected benefits, such as easy privacy and lots of potential hiding places to stash his minimal belongings. After all, the den was an all-too-common place to ransack when looking for trinkets to steal.

He trots towards @Alva, pink eyes landing upon the colorful woman. "Ye want yer ass kicked, do ya lass?" Honestly, he has no idea how rank challenges worked in prides, but he had some idea that it involved fighting and that was something he could get behind. "Or do ye jus' crave responsibility?"

Frankly, he was uninterested in being called noble at anything. So he does not rise to her challenge. But maybe the Queen will come and let him lose his itching claws upon her should no one else rise to her challenge. @Úlla had promised him battles, after all.

you should fight, @Leviathan úlla's deep voice slithers out of the dark recesses of her cavern kingdom as she makes her way through. water droplets fall from the northern woman's coat while she moves, with her thick tail swaying in the still air. there's an easiness to her movement and tone of delivery. for wherein this is a battle for a spot she'd like to give to someone worthy, úlla is still in need to see action unfurl here in the hollows. vellen requires his sacrifice of blood and it doesn't have to always start with a war. what do you say, @Alva? she regards the new lioness with a glint of amusement in her eyes.

The commotion draws her attention. Anything for a distraction. She is reminded too often about how quiet their den seems without Wolfgang there, and even knowing where he's gone, and that he has good reason -- it weighs on them. With their doubtless leader absent, the rest of the Bezras flounder, and she throws herself into her work and her pride. It's the best she can manage for now.

Narcissa approaches the gathering Hollows lions quietly, her eyes flashing over unfamiliar figures in the spumoni lioness who'd made a challenge, and the burly male who seems keen on engaging her. The spotted lioness seats herself beside @Úlla without fanfare, curious to watch these new pridemates prove their mettle.

Aside from company that was easy on the eyes, Baphome did enjoy a good brawl. Particularly, he enjoyed watching. The voyeur shadowed Narcissa’s steps, the summons made by Alva filled him with an age-old feeling of anticipation for a show. Mild adrenaline coursed his veins, and happily, he joined those gathered—eager for blood sport.

How exciting, he chirped, offering all gathered a nod of polite greetings, before he plopped himself to @Narcissa ’s free side. He took in the two potential opponents, pondering the possible outcomes. Gleefully, he pressed against Narcissa's shoulder, giving a nip at her cheek. How about a wager, mon cher?

“Whatever it is you desire, @Úlla “ Alva smirked softly. “I’m not new to a good fight, many a times have I had to. Though violence- isn’t always nessisary. Not for those, who learn to fight by another means.” Her thoughts had drifted to the poisons she’d used in the past, as well as her seductive nature, to get into someone’s pants and then to slit their throats.

“But of course, only if you agree, @Leviathan After all, a fight is all well and good but responsibly can be another thing depending on who has it.”

She was fighting to sucure a future for herself and bear’s future children, their cubs. If bear was to one day become heir like he hopes, then it would likely be exspected of Alva to sucure a rank in the pride. To be able to do so- it would either have to be given to her, or she would have to fight for it.

His presence here is a welcome distraction, a soothe to the ache she feels. The idle twitch of an ear takes note of his presence, and then @Baphomé is beside her, warm and welcome. She presses into him with a supple purr, her teeth flashing for half a moment with the delightful kiss from his fangs. "I'm listening," she goads him with an idle smirk, curious what wry (and lewd) suggestion he might have for her today. Her gaze shifts towards the strawberry mint lioness, who seems interested in a lot of idle chatter for proving her capabilities. Between getting to watch an impending battle, and Baphomé's charming presence beside her, Narcissa finds herself thoroughly distracted from her own problems.

@Úlla does not disappoint, urging him to violence as she arrives on the scene with that smug little smile of hers. Two others come as well, both brown in pelt with one having cute splotches all over her face. They both obviously itch for a show and it spurs Levi on even more - ever willing to provide them with one.

He winks at the budding crowd as he adjusts his stance to focus entirely on Alva, making it clear her challenge would not go unanswered this day. His tail lashes excitedly behind him as his ears disappear into the onyx fluff of his mane. "Ye sure talk 'lot, lass. Jus' like e'rey noble I've met!" She would make a good noble for that reason alone, in his mind. What he pictures at the word noble had less to do with competence and more to do with "high-society" and fancy words. Levi had neither, but Ulla told him he should fight - and the brawler didn't even need quite so many words to be urged into violent action.

Responsibility be damned, he couldn't care less about holding rank in this place. It's the sport of the matter.

With a push of his back legs, he is launching his mighty frame towards her with a roar. He aims to collide with her head on, attempting to ram his breastplate into hers and close the distance between him and the multicolored female. His jaw unhinges as it seeks out her nape, attempting to grab hold of the skin there and give himself a good position early off. Behind him, his toes splay into the rocky landscape, claws unsheathed as he grips the rock with a scittering sound of his claws.

A many new and unfamiliar scents hung in the obsidian halls, and Hiccup had taken notice. He had not yet connected them with their bearers though, so when a challenge echoed through the tunnels (one issued by a voice he did not recognize), he thought that he’d have the chance then. The growing boy was not surprised to find Úlla already there, and he made his way over to her open side to seat himself there, ears leaned in the direction of the ongoing challenge. “Who are they?” he asked the Sovereign. He’d not yet met the pair, yet they obviously belonged here. Hiccup had neither of their names — for now — but there was one thing he knew: one of them was going to be the new Noble for the Hollow.

Alva smiled at his talk. “Yes, I do talk a lot, makes a good skill, you see.” She chuckled softly, she feels a nip at her nape but she tries to move to avoid any further damage. “What do they call you?” She asked him, attempting to launch her claws at his shoulder. “I’m Alva, Alva Darkstone-Skye. If you don’t fear the dark stones, you probably should. I know I certainly do.” She said in a freindly manner- playing distraction! She then attempted to launch her teeth at his neck, preparing to nip at it to try and trap her challenger.

After all, Daddy dearest didn’t raise a weakling- for all she looks delicate.
