This was a time of change, Nadia could feel it in her bones. There had been discussion of @Magnus' ambitions towards the Lagoon and Nadia could not stop him from where Vellen was leading him. On the other hand they had established roots within the Hollows. Their children had grown up within the dark caverns. Nadia could not so easily release the place they had grown so attached to. With @Desdemona at her side the dark Queen would rise to solidify what was rightfully theirs. This would be the beginning of a new era, that much was certain. Moving with determination, she would go to where the caverns were most open, a deep chuff echoing from her lips. With her wounds healed and determination set on her pristine features she would claim the Hollows as hers. And should someone dare and take what was hers, well .. Allow them to face her wrath then.

Something was happening. The hollows fell. But it was not by the violation from outsiders. No, it was them — her home fell and it was all on them. Úlla's anger rose, but she had nowhere to lash out. Sensibility reigned it in and told her she must claim the land before anyone else can. This territory may not hold Vellen's body, but Vellen allowed them to settle. It was also where a majority of her kinsmen stayed in. This was home, like it or not. And Úlla will be damned if she let anyone else claim it from her. Before she could trek to the hollows center, a familiar cry rang out. Nadia. So it seemed that Magnus's wife had the same urge too. While a part of her was impressed and relieved, Úlla knew nothing about the dark woman beyond her being an in-law. Claiming was easy. Keeping the pride was harder, especially underneath a weak ruler in both mind and body. What would Nadia be? The northern woman snaked past the growing audience, ears pinning to her skull as her gaze settled upon @Nadia. It's not easy to rule as high sovereign. Memories of the usurpers flooded her mind. Úlla's mouth unfurled into a snarl before common sense stopped it. Nadia Sígrún, face me as your challenger. Let's see if you are capable.

Ragna was feeling better and better with the treatment from both Fayvre and Elijah, feeling like she was going to get fully recovered sooner than she expected. With the returning strength, she felt like she could now patrol the borders without much trouble and that was what the young lioness did, with steady pace she went through the borders, checking and marking them not expecting it was soon to disband and only when she heard @Nadia 's challenge call for the pride, her eyes reflected concern and finding her way she saw both Nadia and @Úlla being the two who would fight for the right to rule on the Hollows. Ragna didn't say a word, just limiting herself to lay down and observe everything take place. Taking note of everything.

This was her home, the very place she had lived for a full year. To relinquish it was unfathomable, at least in this very moment. The dark woman stood stoic and unyielding of any emotion that could have been telling of the hurricane that was building within her. She was determined and that determination was what drove her onward. Admittedly it came as somewhat of a relief when @Úlla arrived to stand as her challenger. Ever since Úlla had made her appearance within Amaryllis she had shown ambition and passion, something that Nadia could not fault her for. Should Nadia not be successful in her attempt at keeping the Hollows at least she would know whom would be at the forefront of her beloved home in her place. "It's not easy to rule as high sovereign. Nadia Sígrún, face me as your challenger. Let's see if you are capable." Her words struck a chord within Nadia, as if being Sovereign had ever been easy to begin with. Nadia knew she had the fire and tenacity to keep the Hollows, now it was time to prove it.

Nadia nodded curtly towards her opponent before she surged forwards. There was no use in prolonging the inevitable; it was time to put on the show that everyone else had come for. Her limbs moved like a well-oiled machine as she crossed the familiar terrain, closing the gap between herself and her in-law. Nadia had no intentions of stopping as she moved closer and when she was confident on the distance between herself and Úlla she attempted to shove her right shoulder forwards in order to hopefully ram into the breast of the grey lioness. Her tail straightened behind her ebony frame in hopes of steadying herself, meanwhile ears laced themselves against her skull as her eyes narrowed in order to keep her own defenses in place.

There was no denying the hold the hollows had on the child. The notion of leaving them weighed heavily on her heart as she approached the sound of her mother's claim, more than a little interested in Nadia showing the gumption to take the place for herself. Magnus had always been the one to lead things, and with Aunt Ulla appearing to them as the jarl, it made Hrefna wonder exactly what lionesses were capable of in power. She supposed that Nadia would show her on that day.
Nestling into a silent seat on the edge of the small crowd, the Sigrún child watched as her mother and aunt flew at each other in a violent frenzy to prove who was capable of leading the hollows home. She did not know who to dare cheering for.

The Hollows had been his home since the very moment he was born, to think that that could possibly be uprooted was a daunting thought, one that had never truly crossed the young Prince's mind until now. He moved through the dark caverns with ease, finding the open space his mother had chosen with swiftness. Immediately his lilac gaze was quick to take in the shape of Úlla as his mother's opponent, and both @Ragna and @Hrefna had already gathered to watch as well. He supposed at the end of the day no matter who won it would be in their favor as they wouldn't necessarily need to leave the home they had all become so accustomed to. Rasmus moved to take a seat next to his sister, offering @Hrefna a comforting bump of his shoulder before shifting his gaze back to the fight at hand. "I bet ya mom wins this one.." He whispers to @Hrefna with a cheeky grin before falling quiet once more.

Úlla still struggled with keeping her defenses checked after the wound on her leg and ear. However, she was able to maintain an even position in front of @Nadia, enough for both of them to stand a chance. Claws out, ears pinned, legs spread, and eyes lingering on her opponent, Úlla allowed the former High Sovereign to attack first. As it was only polite. Nadia struck her with the right of her shoulder, causing a bruise to form upon Úlla's left breast side. Her back foot skidded back whilst her front legs dug into the hardened cavern ground. This was only the beginning. Úlla lifted her left paw and attempted to hold it against the upper portion of Nadia's right side, where head met neck. With her mouth, she angled her head to the right in an attempt to bite the dark woman upon her right cheek. With her right, she would keep it on the ground for balance whilst her back legs remained spread.

Nadia charged Úlla with every intention of using the brute force of her right shoulder to ram into the lioness' chest and thankfully she was successful in her endeavor. The momentum of her body caused Úlla to slide backwards upon the cavern flooring, though not before her left forepaw reached up and outward to grapple onto Nadia's neck. The ebony lioness swung her head to her left then if only to avoid Úlla's incoming teeth, though they didn't miss their mark entirely. Instead of latching onto her face she would grab the lower portion of her neck on the right side. A low snarl was exhaled before Nadia attempted to reach outward, teeth bared in hopes of grabbing Úlla on the upper portion of her front right leg so she could grab and hold.

Ulla was successful in her attempt at grabbing Nadia's upper neck. Her claws dug against the woman's plush four, holding on - but not to hurt. She knew better than to seriously injure her family. Even so, this was a fight and some blood and skin must be cleaved open. The force of Vellen's rage swelled within the northern woman's breast as much as before. She must win. She must win. Nadia struck this time, reaching out for Ulla's upper front leg. Her fangs were able to sink in, enough to draw blood, but not enough to hold as Ulla moved to her left. Then, her left chest would jut out in an attempt to push Nadia forward. Meanwhile, Ulla attempted to keep a hold on Nadia's neck with her left paw.

Nadia reached outward with teeth bared in an attempt to grab hold of Úlla's front right leg and hold but she wouldn't be as successful as she had hoped. Unfortunately her teeth would only clip the skin superficially as Úlla moved to push her backward with her chest. Nadia's hind paws slid backwards a few paces upon the cavern flooring and a bruise began to form along the skin of her chest. But once Nadia was stable yet again her left forepaw would reach up and outward in an attempt to swat at the right side of Úlla's face and upper neck. She didn't have any true intentions of harming the woman considering she was family but Nadia also didn't have any intentions of backing down from this fight. In the meantime she was hyper aware of Úlla's hold on the right side of her own neck and for now she didn't make any moves to detach the woman, instead she allowed her to remain anchored as she prepared for her next attack.
