double exp; vb pride hunt!

there was a buzzing in the air — a promise of full bellies and the release of winter. nymeria knew that with the changing seasons, prey would once again be abundant and prosperous. though that was not to say that that the lions of the brook had not been well-fed as of late, as they had just taken down a elephant, after all! with the loss of aquila and valhalla, however, nymeria wanted to make sure that everyone remained strong during the adjustment, which had led her out towards the borders of the pride today.

the scent was tantalizing, drawing the druid in pursuit of the prey who was leaving it behind. ears pulled back against her crown as she followed the trail, pausing only to send a series of beckoning chuffs for her family to join her. let them feast, once again.

1 year || no bonus **I told you i'd do it** Since she was constantly inside the border's of the brook and getting familiar with every spot of it, it was not hard for the blind woman - yes woman - to catch drift of her mother's lavender scent and move towards it with delicate paws. Of course, the series of beckoning call's that came from her mother's direction helped as well and then there it was. Ygritte caught both @Nymeria's scent and prey. It all made sense now and slowly, gently, delicately the blind woman would make her way towards her mother brush against her side gently. If she could help she would. If she couldn't well she was still here.

Four years, no perks

It was time for another hunt, and Heloise was, as ever, please to attend to help. She wasn't certain they needed more food for their caches, but she knew that it was always important to make sure you had more than you needed. You never knew what might happen.

So she followed Nymeria and (worryingly) Ygritte until she caught up with them.

"You be careful," she cautioned the blind woman. "I'll make sure nothing hurts you, so just you worry about not tripping, okay?" She wanted the girl's first hunt to be a success, and not something that might scar her and her clearly blossoming confidence.

3 years, no bonus
The call from her sister had her hesitating a moment but it seemed that Morrigan had showed up at just the right time. Seeing the face of her beloved and knowing that Talisa wanted to get out and stretch her legs, even if she didn't always want to leave the kids behind. Talisa wanted to help and in doing so, it helped them out. So she made a quick but quiet sprint towards her sister's side and crept, pushing her shoulder against her wheat sovereign's side and waited. Happy to be of service but even more happy to know her purpose in the pride. Though, she just hoped that Ygritte was prepared for how a hunt went. Talisa wasn't sure if her niece had ever hunted with a larger group before. Just as Talisa was about go over to be able to double trouble with her, Heloise was already there and seemed to have her back. A great show of appreciation on her face and a show of relaxed shoulders as she felt quite thankful to be in a pride that was able to step in when it wasn't asked of them.

4 years, no bonus Tullia was eager to help in this new hunt, one that was being organized by her sister. After their previous hunt , the pride has been well fed, with supply of meat but they shouldn't be too trusting. And thus, it was a good idea to hunt again, and minus Aquila and Valhalla, they were yet to adjust. But not being a woman of defeat, she wanted to give her own strength into use for the pride. Arriving in silence, she aimed to stop and hide, ready to follow info any Indications from Nymeria. Eyes wide and ready, muscles tense as her body remained motionless. Removing any external distraction. If they wanted to eat, everyone needed to be completely focused here and now. @Nymeria @Talisa @Heloise @Ygritte

Their quarry was simple enough, and Heloise felt more at ease with the blind woman taking part. She did still keep a watchful eye on her, as she was sure the rest of the pride did as well, but they at least managed to bring the creature down successfully. She sent a silent thanks to Maua and whatever spirits might be listening as she looked down at their fallen prey, but she was quickly ready to bring it back to the nearest cache unless they were going to eat it all there. She wouldn't begrudge the other hunters their choice of met just because she wasn't necessarily hungry.

It was always nice to have a good, solid win when it came to taking down a beast that had wandered into the Brook. This time it was just an impala but there was no telling what else might come wandering into their little home. The kids were growing at an unexpected rate as no one had ever warned her that children grew up so quickly. Talisa was just happy to be of help to her pride and thus she bowed her head, and prayed.

A normal occurrence and one that she knew that everyone was familiar with but sending a prayer to Maua was something of a comfort to her. Especially now when she had children to take care of and this would be a healthy addition to the cache. So for now she simply looked up and to her sister, wondering how much was going to the cache and what she wanted to take back to the kids.

She tried very hard to keep up and be silent. But even though she tried, Ygritte failed and found herself not catching the prey. However, it didn't matter as she could smell the stench of blood and death and knew that it was done. This was just a flaw in her character and knew that Ygritte would have to get better if she wanted to help them with a hunt again. Maybe there was someone to teach her. The thought crossed her mind and it brought on a new determination in her mind as she would turn to walk away. exit !! +10 Participate in a hunt using the rolled hunt system

she continued forward in hot pursuit of the scent trail -- the last thing that nymeria wanted to happen was to let a potential meal get away, lest she be unable to find anything else to replace it. thankfully, and by maua's grace, she came across the source of the scent soon enough, however -- and though it was not more than a lone impala, any successful hunt was an important one.

eyes twist to the shapes of her kin as they swell within her proximity, looking to @Ygritte, @Heloise, @Tullia, and @Talisa with a bubble of pride within her chest, as well as a twinge of worry for her daughter. "you stay with heloise -- talisa, tullia, and i will help lure it over." soft tones murmured to her (now-grown) progeny, aiming to place a gentle nuzzle against her maw, before the group would push forward in unison, intent on finding success today within the grove.

when it was all said and done, they had managed to take down the impala without too much difficulty, and, hopefully, this had been a good learning experience for ygritte, for nymeria did not want her to feel incapable simply because she was different. sparing a glance across the hunting party, nymeria would look to move forward and attempt to brush her shoulder against tullia in a show of appreciation, before gesturing towards the kill with a raised paw "have a few bites, and we can move the rest to the cache." nymeria offered, pausing a few moments longer to give everyone the chance to enjoy the fruits of their labor, before moving back towards the depths of the territory. exit.
