Talisa simply hadn't any real idea how to go forward anymore. Walking on the ground seemed like such a mundane and thoughtless act compared to the beauty and spiritual nature of Maua's blessing upon them. A moment in time that could not so easily be forgotten even if she wanted to (which she never would). It was upon seeing Maua's face for the first time in a long time that had truly sealed every thought in her mind. Perhaps one day she could ask the Deity what her intentions truly were for bringing in the non-Natives and ruffling a lot of feathers but today she was just thrilled. Thrilled to be bringing in one of the first children to be born between the two "factions". Proof that they could coexist happily but more or less, just ecstatic that she'd found a soul mate within the masses. @Morrigan

Being an outsider herself, Morrigan still hadn't realized the significance her children's' birth would hold. She was too busy imagining what motherhood was going to hold for her. There was still a sort of open space in the relationship though, as she'd started to assume the uncles might have to take up a fatherly role where Morrigan could not. She thought of sweeter things, like how many they might have, what Talisa might wish to name them, how her family might have looked when her sweetheart told them the news.

She was all to happy then to find the trail of her beloved as she made her way away from the burning black sands of the beach toward a looming cavern ahead. She'd avoided any more caves than necessary since she'd taken up living in them, but that was before the sun had decided to try to kill her on a daily basis. As the Greyflood padded deeper within she was surprised to find it both very open and airy, but much cooler than outside.

There @Talisa sat against the soft golden sands and backdrop of beach waves. The warrior was quick to cross the distance between them, seeking to embrace her perfect wife and also looking for any subtle changes in her body, though it was surely too early to tell. You couldn't know with magic children though, she supposed.

Any moment in time where she was able to see @Morrigan was a good moment. Somehow she doubted that that would ever change and even then, she was going to treasure the seconds that she did have. Especially since her beautiful warrior would be stationed in the Hollow -- perhaps somewhere down the line she'd have a more negative opinion of that but for now she was happy to stay where they were if it was what she wanted. Happy to raise these children in the Brook and not realizing just how exhausting that would be when it was just her.

I don't see how you're not buzzing with anticipation, she cooed as she rubbed her cheek against the grey woman's shoulder as they approached. Talisa felt like her whole body was vibrating at an excessive speed. I'm told that pregnancy can be a beautiful time for a mother or it can be hell. She had gotten a lot of mixed reviews of it from several mothers over the last three years and she hoped that by Maua's blessing that she could get the beautiful pregnancy and now the painful one.

Morrigan would definitely be facing feelings of guilt and doubt when the time came closer to motherhood, but she could only hope that Talisa's kin would be there for her when she could not. Though, given her occupation didn't require her to be home very often, she thought she could get away with making the long trip north as often as she could. If nothing else it would keep her in shape for the coming winter.

@Talisa asked how the Valkyrie wasn't buzzing with excitement and a grin broke across Morrigan's face in response, "Oh, I am. I just hide it better than you do," she teased, aiming to place a kiss on Talisa's white speckled face. Her smile listed a bit when her wife mentioned the pregnancy possibly being a more painful endeavor than a beautiful one. "I pray its an easy one. I already feeling guilty that you have to shoulder the braver part." The warrior sat down next to Talisa, wishing it wasn't so hot so she could enjoy an embrace more.

Talisa wasn't quite afraid of being pregnant or potentially having a horrible pregnancy; in fact, she was ready for either one. But of course she wanted the nicer version of it! Who wouldn't? Talisa just wanted the whole experience! There were still so many things about her mateship to @Morrigan that was a big question mark but seeing as how they were in a whirlwind romance still, she felt like it wasn't imperative to break down the walls as soon as they're built. Oh? You woke up and chose cheeky today, huh? She laughed and pushed her nose into the underside of her wife's jaw as she placed a kiss on Talisa's forehead.

Don't feel guilty, my sweet. Easier said than done, of course. Like I told Maua, I have been prepared for this my whole life. I want to bear the weight of the children I wish to bring into this world. I am honored to carry your children. While it may not have been through any widely known methods, being blessed by Maua was the cream of the crop. It was better.

Though, there was still one thing that she felt was pertinent to share with the grey lead. One that had made her wonder for a while and occasionally tormented her because she didn't know how to bring it up. Now that she was pregnant, her relationship felt even more solidified but Talisa knew it was a conversation they should've had a lot sooner. Talisa just didn't know how to breach the subject without it being really awkward. If only because she had never had to explain it but she would attempt to amend it, if that was her only option that let her keep the gray and white beauty.

"I would say maybe I'm becoming immune to your charms..." she began as she settled down next to her beloved, "But if anything they've only grown stronger." @Talisa would assure her though that she didn't mind bearing the burden of their children. It seemed impossible to love the native woman more than she already did, but somehow every time she spoke she only added to it. A pacifist braver than some warriors were. In many ways braver than Morrigan herself.

"I only envy you'll get to know them better before I do," she told her wife fondly, knowing she would be able the feel their children a while before Morrigan could ever set mismatched eyes on them. If she'd know what Talisa was thinking, she might have soothed her from the beginning, but truthfully Morrigan was just so new at all this that she wasn't exactly sure at which point she was supposed to ask exactly what their matrimony meant.

An exceptionally sly mhm slip part her lips as she blinked incredulously at this wife she had chosen. So cheeky and so charming, she loved it! I hope so. I want to keep surprising each other for many years. Talisa never wanted to know @Morrigan completely because not knowing made the experience all the better. Obviously there were some things that would need to be discussed but the cleric was more than happy to continue learning about her wife with each day that passed.

That I can't reassure you on. Though, I think it's crucial that I point out that I wanna be called Mama. Not Mom, but Mama. Morrigan couldn't take it from her because she was claiming dibs. Not only that but it was a lingering fact that there were a lot of traditional things about being a Valour that she hadn't shared with her wife just yet. Things that were common within her family and quite common with Talisa given how easily it was for her to fall into a simple sort of love with someone. I'm not really sure how to breach the subject to make it less ... obscure? But it is common in my family for us to be polygamous. She paused and pinched her cheeks upwards, but if that's not something that you're alright with we can figure something out. Talisa loved her soldier; her warm, protective and kind warrior and would gladly put her longing heart at a steady boil.

Hearing Talisa say out loud that she intended to spend t the very least many years with Morrigan sent a thrill down her spine, though of course she knew what marriage was supposed to mean, it didn't make it any less beautiful to hear. "All of them, if I have my way," she purred before the lovely woman continued. A chuckled bubbled to her lips and Talisa claimed her dibs on what name she wanted, and that just fine with Morrigan because she'd daydreamed of the same thing herself. The big, strong warrior woman wished to be called, "Mummy, I think for me," she said fondly, knowing it didn't exactly fit, but Morrigan suspected she'd probably end up rather soft with her children anyway.

@Talisa's tone turned a bit more serious and Morrigan wasn't sure what to expect as she began, as really their customs could have been anything at all. So it was a look of relief that finally crossed over the Greyflood woman's face. "I'm sorry if you've worried over bringing this up, my love, but you had no need," she began, taking a few extra breaths to gather her thoughts on the subject. "I'm not a stranger to the idea, and frankly I don't know how easily I could have promised my own whole heart to you... Though I certainly would have tried." She moved to press her nose briefly to Talisa's soft cheek before continuing. "Frankly I was surprised someone hadn't swept you up already," she teased, brushing the native with her ashen tail tip.

Talisa attempted to rub her head somewhat more aggressively as she struggling to find words that could perfectly describe how she felt. Eager as ever to just roll herself up into a ball with @Morrigan and never let go. This was most certainly the best version of love and she was so unbelievably lucky to have found it so swiftly. So quickly that she was certain that Maua had devised this or that her father had lent a helping hand without having told them. So with her heart hammering away in her chest, she listened fervently to the Greyflood explain that there was no need to worry -- that they couldn't promise their whole heart but would have tried for the sake of keeping them together. A complete mimicry of exactly how Talisa felt. No one's ever really connected with me before. Not like the way you and I did in the Grotto or on the Shore. Ruslan had been a close match but she hadn't been given a real for sure sign that he'd be interested in pursuing anything more than just friends. There was that brief encounter before but nothing that really said I wanna spend forever with you.

"I didn't even think it was possible for me," she began, relishing in the feeling of Talisa's touch, trying not to let her mind drift to the thought that they were very alone here, and @Talisa was exceptionally glowing since their meeting with Maua. "It's still hard to imagine feeling anything like I do for you for someone else, but should you ever fancy anyone I'd like to meet them. It's equally difficult to imagine not loving someone you did." Morrigan could help but think there were some things she could never quite replace her own father in, and amybe it was because of her own upbringing but she liked the idea of her children having some kind of father as well, especially if it meant a companion for Talisa when Morrigan couldn't be there.
