Vincent hadn't really been thinking about how her teeth digging into his muzzle would feel when he attempted to swipe at her head. It hurt like hell and he growls, saliva gathering at the edges of his mouth as he attempts to grind his jaws along her leg. Wanting to grate her flesh within his grasp and further damage her limb.

She's lifted up due to their size difference, though Vincent can't see this so much as he can feel both legs upright against his form - one being in his jaws. Claws dig into his chest and as this happens, he attempts to shove every bit of his weight forward to cause her to fall or collapse beneath his larger form. Blood trickles down his golden coat, both from her and himself. Lacerations would blossom beneath her claws, the vivid red a stark contrast against his lighter coat.

The Tiger's gaze locked onto her, as if convinced she remained still not to protect the life stirring within her but because she had no desire to gain this particular rank. Just when the weight of the moment felt suffocating, a flash of vibrant red careened past her, crashing into the formidable striped creature with an exuberance that stole her breath away. She found herself captivated by the tumult unfolding before her—a fierce yet oddly exhilarating spectacle.

But she was not alone in this chaotic theatre. Suddenly, a familiar specter emerged—the ghost of Renozuri. Yet, in her swirling vortex of emotions, Miaran resolutely chose to turn her heart away from the past, denying him even the briefest recognition. Instead, her attention was drawn to the white Queen, who approached with an air of unspoken urgency. The question hung in the air, and Miaran paused, caught in a wild tempest of uncertainty, before finally responding, I am not positive who would win. The moment felt suspended in time as Velasco's child approached, and she barely spared him a fleeting glance. Her focus surged back, unyielding and fierce, toward the battle unfolding before her—a primal clash for a rank.

Renozuri found that while he couldn't see the battle, it was easy enough to determine who might win. The beast that had issued the call had sounded massive, larger than anyone he'd encountered in life. A woman had challenged him, and while most might find that admirable, the devil simply found it stupid. He stands, having not even noticed Miaran's blatant act of ignoring him. The beast didn't care. Icefang seemed preoccupied, and he had no interest in socializing outside of what he'd already managed just being here. With soundless steps, the ghostly figure of the devil would disappear out of sight.

No matter the strength she threw at the beast, she knew when shed been beaten, though she was not just going to shrivel into a ball and weep beneath him, she knew to save herself from more injury, she should submit. Her fangs give one more wrench before she lets go of his muzzle and lets herself be shoved to the ground, her eyes glare at him.

Blood coats her lips as she hisses, her paw retracting from his skin, the other one still in his jaws, Astarte growls softly, blood coated her body, bathing her in crimson but she can see that he took is bathed in hers and his blood. She may have lost the fight but she had put one hell of a fight into it.

She does not pay attention to the rest as the fight concludes and while she had her doubts that @Vincent would lose, part of her was still bothered that @Astarte had lost. At least the tiger had proved that he fought with a brutality that she could admire. The queen steps forward and leaves @Miaran and @Haipo on the sidelines as she addresses the massive beast. "Congratulations, the title is rightfully yours." Her words were an indication that the blood shed was over and that he should release the grip he had on Astarte's paw still clutched in his jaws. Blue eye darts down to the female as she gives her a soft nod. She had fought well, even if she was not the victor today.

She relents and Vincent can't help the smile that curves his bloody lips, even as his teeth dig into her flesh. He wants to clamp down, harder and harder - he wants to hear her leg snap in his jaws. It is only the voice of @Icefang ♔ that pulls him from his violent trance, congratulating him on winning.

Slowly his jaws would part, saliva and blood dripping from his mouth as he releases @Astarte. Tongue slithers out, sliding along his lips in a distinctly slow manner. Silver eyes level on the crimson woman that had challenged him, that smile still ever present. "Thank you, Queen." He replies, all the while still staring at his quarry.

Finally, after some time, he tears his gaze away and focuses on the Queen. He doesn't bow, he doesn't say anything else; he gives her a slight nod of acknowledgement before turning to leave. The length of his golden tail swaying behind him idly as he began to clean his muzzle with the thickness of his tongue.

For a moment, she believes that @Vincent might bite down and crush @Astarte's limb though thankfully her words seem to snap the tiger out of his blood induced haze. He parts with his grip and offers pleasant words as he licks the blood off his lips before turning and heading off in another direction. The queen's eye settles on Astarte for a moment with a simmer of sympathy before she too turns and heads off. She would find her later for a private talk. The result hadn't been a surprise for her and with a soft dip of her crown to @Miaran and @Haipo she also leaves departs the scene.

Both fighters were covered in blood, locked together as they growled and snarled. Then, the bigger lion lifted his opponent into the air. Yikes. Size and muscle, though sometimes obvious advantages, were advantages nonetheless. Haipo winced where he was sitting, imagining just how he might look if he was in a similar situation. Oh, that would not be pretty. But how to avoid it? His ears briefly pressed flat, curly tail wrapping around his dark back paws. Dodging was only an option before getting grabbed. If it happened… The yearling missed his abuela’s departure, so lost in thought about the hypothetical. He needed to see if Papá had any ideas maybe. With that idea locked firmly in his mind, Haipo looked back to the fighters. They had broken apart, the victor taking his leave. One day, Haipo would be able to hunt and fight just as well as some of the adults. He offered another nod to @Miaran before leaving to try and find Papá.
