The Dieudonne had held this land for so long, it would be refreshing and quite exciting if Ilarion managed to topple the Matriarch. While Icefang watches, claws sinking into the dirt she expects that Louve will conquer and hold onto her family's home. @Elaine ♔'s arrival catches her attention, especially when the sovereign is announcing for the pride to be ready to defend those that saunter over the borders. "Be on alert," she murmurs to Obsidiana. She does not expect to be attacked, but it would be wise to keep an eye around themselves.

@Olive's presence causes Icefang to smirk as the petite fairy struts over and settles herself on her unoccupied side. She speaks of Velasco's claim, though the queen does not know the details herself or who the brown woman might be referring to, but rather she takes this moment to frazzle her tiny companion. One claw inches forward in an attempt to gently grace the side of Olive's jaw, her vocals dropping into a soft whisper just for Olive to hear. "I'd much rather take you" she tells her in a hushed breath before dropping her finger and turning her attention back to the fight. For the quick, passing eye they would only see a quick flick of an ear. The only indication that Icefang had even heard what the Lorien woman said.

Residing in the serene beauty of the Grove, the Executioner found herself not too far from the Bluffs when she heard the call for Louve's crown. As her many wounds were still in the process of healing, Miaran chose to remain in the shadows during this significant challenge. On the edges of the territory, she positioned herself to blend in with the landscape, observing quietly. Given her uncertainty regarding her standing with the Matriarch and the cannibal pride, she felt it best to keep her presence discreet. Would Louve retain the long-held crown, or would the Plains pelt-wearing contender seize the opportunity for the heavy and bloodied crown?

Amari watched intensely, eyes expressing winder and curiosity.

More lions joined to watch the fight for the throne, wondering who might win. Even though she didn't know those who were fighting. Strangers at most. But not less interesting to witness.

A woman then came to tell them to leave, she would had left but she was not trespassing. And her stubborn self wasn't going to follow the woman's order of going away.

She was breaking no rules simply here to watch so she remained there.

Thankfully a woman who shared her own pride's scent sat by her side. A soft toothy smile formed on the cub's lips. "Ya, ya may sit with meh." Besides she didn't own this place so she had no reason to deny her to sit there.

With a kiss to his wifes forehead he was off, if she wished to follow so be it but Tripfire wasn’t going to ignore this chance. A chance to taste flesh and draw blood. To feel someone recoil from him as his claws tore into them. No, he was going to feed his ache.

Arriving to hear Elaine's speech he gave a delighted little bellowing laugh, calling out to the observers, “**I do believe you heard the lady. Time to go mes chéris (my dears), or I'll pluck all your eyes one by one," He ended his words with a hiss. And the smile that had been stretched on his maw twisted into a hateful snarl while the large red coated male made his way across who were present. Tail lashing eagerly behind him, the minute Elaine said 'fetch' he would be seizing flesh.

Oh but he couldn’t help himself, after all grandpa Tripfire had given him mixed commands. He said stay hidden right? And after rolling in the dust of the bluffs which highlighted his brown fur, he wouldn’t be one to sit idly by. So, sneakily he descended down the pathways his grandfather took, happy to note that his grandfather was so hellbent on joining the group he didn’t hear when Giovanni slipped up occasionally.

Peeling off from him he would climb a nearby rock to get a better advantage and watched his grandfather join the group. Hearing the laughter and the command he felt his fur fluff in excitement. Oh, so they were kicking the others out? He would help!

Giovanni turned his gaze to the observers, a look of disgust on his maw, how dare they peek! Yeah! And then his eyes fell upon a white pelted cub, a fat one at that! Jogging over he made special care to not cross the borders and sat before her with a sneer. “I think you saw enough, mhm” he taunted her with a gleam of mischief in his eyes.

The call echoes into Lagoon air and Isla is more than quick to make her way toward Wolfbron. It seemed as though Amaryllis had found its way into a phase of chaos, those living here seeming to want to draw blood and soak the soil with crimson. Her thoughts on the Bluffs no longer being held by Diéudonne was a complicated one, one the Greyflood wasn't even sure she wanted to unpack just yet. Seeing and speaking to Elaine at the latest war sparked an old flame, something she was most certain had been snuffed out for good. But what was life without its hurdles?

She ascends the mountain with ease, years of scaling Illyria still embedded in her muscles. The red dirt mixed with snow is a welcomed feeling, and as she nears the top her good eye instantly spots the fight already commencing. Tail flicks behind her as she keeps to the other side of the border, ears twisting forward as she hears @Elaine ♔ direct those that weren't apart of Wolfbron nor an ally to either leave or face consequences. A part of Isla almost pushes her past the invisible border, almost wanting to test the speckled woman to see what exactly she would do if it were none other than the Scillan Queen she would have to face. Instead, while purple gaze watches the woman for a brief moment, Isla pulls her attention away to see who all else was present.

Icefang's form is hard to miss, fur ruffling along her shoulders and spine at the site of the woman. It takes everything within the Queen to practice restraint, the sight of a colossal black lion now catching her attention. A sigh of relief is expelled as she notices @Colsun seeming to be in good shape, Isla making her way over toward him. She attempts to press her nose into the side of his mane, a long inhale taken before retreating. "Are you okay?" Her tone is low, only for Colsun to hear, concern obvious by her facial expression. In the back of her mind she hopes their children would stay away; she didn't need anymore of her family ripped away from her.

After being giver permission to observe from her husband, Nagi had come to check how the dynamics of these natives were like. Wondering if they were civilized or simply savages. Learning about other cultures had always been of great interest to the concubine whom always showed an inclination towards politics and studies of the intricate society of lions.

She arrived finding a diverse group of lions. Women between them. How was this possible? Where were their husbands? Their lords? And even more why was a woman being fought by a man? How horrid. She went to observe Respecting the borders and staying away from others to keep a decent distance from all of these strangers.

At first, he did not fully understand the implications of the call. His first year of life had been so blissfully safe and secure that the very idea someone might try to come and seize his familial stronghold did not enter his mind. What he could recognize, was the aggression. The intent of violence. These things were second nature to the youth.

He arrived in time to hear his aunt's orders, his demeanor immediately shifting from observational to predatory. Though many seemed to be respectfully outside the border, that did not mean others had not tried to sneak in. Why should they suffer invisible trespassers any more easily than visible ones?

Armande would move off with the intent to trace the border line, both as an intimidation tactic (he was much scarier in his own head than he probably was in reality) and to see if he could catch any drifts of strangers' scents leading even marginally over the line.

She shouldn't be following her mother, but a cub's curiosity was too much to ignore. Mavka slinks her way in the direction Isla had gone, keeping a safe distance to not be seen by her mother. She takes a break every now and again, unused to such long treks, and when magenta gaze lands upon the towering mountains before her she almost wishes she had stayed back in Scilla. Almost. Sucking in a deep breath the Princess begins her ascent, huffing and puffing about halfway up and feeling as though her lungs were about to collapse when she made it to the top.

Mavka takes a few moments to compose herself before she spots her parents, face lighting up once she sees her father and instantly forgetting that she was supposed to be sneaking. Growing limbs carry her toward @Colsun, almost running directly into the side of a foreleg as a purr begins to rumble throughout her body. "Papa!" The girl croons, beginning to rub herself against her father before remembering Isla was right next to him, slowly glancing up and giving an apologetic smile.

wolfbron is called for and its defenders rain down from the bluffs like demonic rain. manon is not the first, nor the only one who slinks into the fight with murderous intent. already her aunt calls for the heads of those who dare cross into wolfbron land - well, she hadn't said that specifically, but to manon it had certainly been implied.

she has taken the long way here, sweeping across the borders of the pride to make sure that no attempted hooligans are trying to break in while the pride is occupied. thankfully, the rest of the wolfbron borders are clear. it delays manon enough that by the time she arrives, her mother is already in battle against the challenger - a man. no, this would not do. manon would be sure to watch the fight with interest, tongue licking at her lips in anticipation as blood from both opponents is splashed across the red rock below.

manon's tongue clicks against the roof of her mouth in a disapproving noise as she prowls along the border in front of their audience. finally, she comes to settle next to @Faustine. "les bluffs n'aiment pas les hommes étrangers." the bluffs holds no love for outsider men. she comments, jaw clenched and bloody red eyes shining with malice. even if this man won, he would find himself ousted just as quickly as he had come. her eyes then turn to the gathered audience on the other side of the borders. claw dig hard into a piece of long dead wood before dragging downwards and repeating once and then twice. if any of them were going to be stupid, manon would ensure her claws were sharp and ready for a fight.

was it also a bit of a threat? certainly.
