Thankfully, the boy stepped down from the fight when all the sane people did as well. Maybe he wasn't so bad after all, voicing his desire just to hunt and protect his family. Before Roan could say anything else to @Milano, though, a stranger came barrelling in at the boy, sending the pair skidding in the sand. Something about the fight looked personal, so the Hodari decided it was best not to get involved, even if he did now feel bad for the younger man.

With no one left to fight in their brief scuffle, the mauve man turned his attention onto @Hanneth, making sure she had not been seriously injured during the minor attack. It was a great struggle to then turn his sights on the very fight that had broken up their own. The death match was already nearing its end, Roan could tell, as the two combatants signed their own warrants in blood upon the sand. He had to look away. To think he might lose another brother... Roan just didn't want to face it. It was a small consolation that at least their entire family wasn't present to witness what could possibly be the loss of a brother, a father, a son, an uncle. Avana had looked up so much to Reti, the brother that had named her upon birth. Roan didn't want to think about having to take this kind of news back to her outside of Amaryllis should the swirled lion fall.

Roan couldn't force himself to watch the fight, not when there was still other chaos going on around him. It was bad enough that his parents and his son were already present to see if Reti lived or died, but the mauve man needed something else to focus on for the moment. It was then the Hodari was reminded about his own familial revelation that had occurred just moments before Hanneth was attacked. The Summit lion's head whipped around in search of @Clove, noticing that she had not gone to Hero like he instructed. Right back where he left her, it appeared she was caught up in her own debacle with a larger yearling. What had spurred the fight, Roan hadn't a clue, but he moved closer to his assumed granddaughter. Having missed the interaction between her and her sister, Roan was not immediately aware that @Dalila was more potential kin, her features not being quite as apparent as Clove's colors, but the elder Hodari lingered around the fight all the same.

He held pace with her annoyingly well; she missed his tail entirely, teeth snapping shut with a clang around air, and his ankles were quickly free from her grasp. At least he had some nasty little cuts to show for it. He narrowed in on her side, teeth catching a good bit of skin as she tried to shuffle away. As near as he was, it was her turn to swat at his face, and she did just that, aiming to hook her claws in behind his jaw and tug hard to bring his face close to awaiting jaws. "Come a little closer, cutie. Let me show you what you missed the first time."

Sip The Blood.

Wars were stories before bed, something to drift off to, tucked away from the dangers of them but now they were here. Real. Over and over. Josephine arrived in chaos that she had never seen before. Fights all over, she didn't even really know who was on what side as she made her way over the blood-soaked sands. It felt sticky under her paws, something she wasn't used to, and left a strange feeling spreading through her as she looked around. Her sister seemed to be in a fight, or at the tail end of one. She saw Louve and a few others who were watching and waiting. Then she saw @Palpatine in a battle with a bunch of cubs, odd but she wouldn't let a member of the Bluffs fight alone. Even if they are just cubs.

Josie moved in and attempted to grab @Fury by the back of her neck while attempting to swipe a paw at the cub's back legs to knock her off balance. She didn't see a need to really hurt the cubs but getting them off Palpatine would be useful. Where were the cubs parents? Her mother would have skinned their hides if they had come out at this age and jumped into a challenge. She didn't note a pride scent on the cub, so maybe she would just bring it back with her.

They’re both putting their all in it seems. Milano was struggling due to his adrenaline headache but the feeling of guilt he had from his fight if one could call that one earlier was gone. Replaced by ego and annoyance. He was worried about Miaran who was fighting to the death, but he was even more worried about Khadija. He didn’t have time for this fight but here they were. Feeling his ankle now bleeding he snarled. Yes that would need to be treated carefully so he didn’t have trouble hunting later on.

Finding a chonk of her flesh in his teeth as she pulled back and went for his face he found her pulling his face painfully to her. Ears pinned even as she spoke he squinted. "Blah anyone ever tell you your breath stinks?" He hissed taunting her as he attempted to then reach forward and snap his jaws at her face attempting to bite the top of her head.

Teeth sink into his flesh and Asbjørn reacts by trying to slice deeper into the woman. The pain caused by the other male eases as he shifts to defend himself from the tiny red she-devil. Who Asbjørn now could tell was a member of the Hollows. Savante then more than likely. The cave dwelling dirt people. It was about the extent of his knowledge.

The grip his opponent had tries to tighten and Asbjørn shifts his body, attempting to use his weight to his advantage and shove against the blue lioness. If he could get her to the ground and get her pinned beneath him, then maybe she would be the one subdued.

His feet shuffled beneath him, finding it hard to find a solid foothold in the ever-shifting sand. Heavy lions did not do well on the beach, and even though he had experience walking on unstable ground from living in the muddy mire, it wasn't quite like sand. His tail lashed out behind him as he battled on three legs that were sliding out from underneath him despite his attempted iron-grip on the ground.

When he lashed out at her and came for her face with his jaws, he was only able to snatch a superficial piece of her hide. Still, he knew it was painful and right now, all he wanted to do was hurt her and then take his prize home. However, much too quickly, his shallow victory was spoiled as her right paw came swinging towards his face. All he could do was brace for the impact because he sure as hell wasn't letting go. Squeezing his right eye shut, he felt her claws rake down that side of his face, parting the skin of his face, but thankfully not touching his eye. Grimm snarled between his bite, letting her feel the reverberation on her face before attempting to jerk his head back suddenly, hoping to rip at the skin on her face in one last hurrah.

For a moment it is just the two of them. Him and her. His claws in her shoulders. Her teeth in his face. Then the jostling of her body felt through his hold on her as another slams into her. And then a second. And if his mouth hadn't been too busy trying to sink fang into the side of Cassandra's neck then he might have laughed. She was the one wanting to call for a Queen. What the hell did she expect? Did she hope not a soul would step up?

A body slams into his side, knocking him loose from the woman, an involuntary gasp for air sucking in passed snarling lips. Teeth snap, piercing into his skin over and over. The Darkling whirls, his own fangs attempting to snap and carve their signature design across this man's upper side near the shoulder.

Yes. Cassius would bleed. But so too would he.

Fuck. As exciting as the notion was, fighting was definitely not a strong suite within the creatures fragile stature. It was a reserved reaction for only dire situations, but what other situation is as dire as the need for war? Vengeance? Burning hatred and disarray? Simply put, there was none unless death. They are driven forward by the glut within the pits of their gut, a twisting churn that has bile nearly rising in the catacombs of their throat at the exertion of muscle and mind. It is all only worth it when viper fangs seal along the outer rim of the calicos upper knee - iron and savage crimson that splits the valleys of her tongue.

The shift is there. Like the cosmos scattering within the stars, and they nearly do not recognize it. So consumed with anger and rage for all of the things that the Xue'kai continued to take, and take, and take with no remorse. It is not until Ixora feels the impending crash of Horith's behemoth frame tipping that they would release the juncture of his knee. Uneven paws aiming to scuttle backwards just far enough to avoid the weight of his entire frame collapsing on them. They snarl. Lips pulled back against pretty pink gums as Horith's shoulder collides with their scampering frame - shoving with bruising force and unbalancing the raven witch in time.

With uneven footing and settling fatigue, Ixora would attempt to aim one final blow to the calico creaton - with unsheathed and poised claws. The crimson prince would attempt to aim one final swipe towards any of Horiths vulnerable frame to make their message clear.

The sudden departure of @Matthieu's crippling weight allows rapid expansion of air into her lungs. Icefang groans at the release of pressure feeling Remi's claws pricking at the delicate area of her throat. She feels her own paw cut at his face and the yelp of her grandson as he rushes in to assist her (as she would expect him to). With the freedom of her lower half, Icefang ignores the claws that are at her throat and instead she pushes aggressively into his grip, also ignoring the increasing pain on her wrist as Remi clamps down further. She rolls over onto her belly attempting to yank Remi closer to the ground (and her) as she pulls her wrist towards her. Hoping that he follows the movement or is either forced to let go, Icefang attempts to snap her jaws at his face trying to force him to back off away from her.

The hook of a claw does the trick and as @Moradin trips and crashes, Zagrius is quickly on top of him slamming the male's head into the earth and knocking him unconscious. The prince pants from the pursuit, but he is satisfied that he has successfully prevented the male from departing. Whatever the reason, he is sure that Vater will be proud. Stepping away from his slumped body, the male heads back to stalking the sidelines when he notices a female laced in the Lagoon's beachy scent. Now, she looked as if she needed company. Rushing up from the side, Zagrius attempts to sink his fangs into the side of Rosalind's neck, his right paw also coming up in an attempt to slash talons into her left shoulder.
