He didn’t want this. He didn’t want this. He didn’t want this.

This was wrong what had the elderly lioness have done to be attacked? Spoken to her god? He talks to his after every hunt and even sometimes when he needed guidance outside of the hunt. Would Miaran attack him for that too if she heard him? Though he didn’t know what this was about. That was until Miaran said that the elder was a witch and she had too. His heart ached. His head hurt he was confused and lost. This fight was because someone had a different faith than her own? He did know about her hard mob upbringing but this wasn’t her homeland things didn’t have to be that way.

His heart wasn’t in this fight already and when @Aphrodite ♔ gave him a look he looked at her with shame and pain in his eyes. Soon enough Reti was calling for Miaran’s head and she ran off to fight him. @Hanneth then told him to let go of @Roan as the male kicked it out at him and he quickly did so. "Yes ma’am." He said quietly and quickly responding like a naughty boy who had just been scolded. His jaws were sore now from Roan’s kick but it wasn’t like he didn’t deserve to be smacked in the face. Backing up he lowered his head. "I am sorry I didn’t want this. All I want to do is hunt and keep my family safe. I don’t agree with attacking anyone for their beliefs. Especially the wiser generation." He spoke earnest words to Hanneth and Roan, while eyeing Aphrodite and the lady from the Bluffs fighting her.

Bleh... Noemi didn't really want to head all the way to the southern pride again—it really was quite a haul to get there—but she couldn't pass up the opportunity of inserting herself into things that didn't pertain to her. So when the call went out, you can bet her ass got there as quick as she could.

And who was the first face she could pick out of the sea of lions? Why, none other than the asshole that tore up her shoulder during Pyrrha's challenge for the Cove crown. Everyone else disappeared except for him. Time for a little fucking payback.

With a snarl, she surged forward, crashing through vegetation in a wild attempt to slam into his side and send them both tumbling to the ground.

With head bowed he wasn’t even given a proper chance to talk out his grievances with the wiser generation before she came barreling in like a wrecking ball knocking him down. Being push across the sand he felt his side hurt as he remembered his training with Felix about not staying down. Attempting to get to his paws he attempted to take his front right paw and throw sand in her face. Chin tucking over his throat to protect it as he tried to stand up and attempted to slap her as hard as he could with claws out across the nose. Eyes narrowed and ears back he snarled. "Rude bitch!" If she wanted another fight with him he would give it to her. And unlike with the elders he wouldn’t feel guilty about it.

The Cove man (boy) was quick to retaliate after their hard collision. He managed to find his feet and whirled around to face her, slinging sand—that she just barely avoided—with one paw and aiming for her nose with the her. That one, unfortunately, landed, causing her eyes to well up involuntarily from the sting. She jumped back, shaking her head quickly to rid herself of the tears; she might be a rude bitch, but she wasn't a weak one. "Nice to see you again!" she snickered.

With increased ferocity, she attempted to dart around to his backside, aiming to slash at the thin flesh of his ankles and nab his tail between her teeth, hoping to yank back hard if she found purchase.

The tension that was there could be felt. Everyone had their own issues here, but he could feel the tension between him and the desert flea. Snarling he kept his eyes locked on her. He was already sore and had an adrenaline headache starting to form but he had to keep going and stay focused. As his claws made contact with her face he let out a growl in order to hide a purr. Though as she darted around behind him he shifted to turn. Trying to keep her away from his back end he was too slow as she grabbed his ankle but he did manage to pull his tail away from her in time. Snarling from the pain he attempted to twist around towards her and attempted to bite her on the side. He could feel the blood dripping from his ankle and was already upset that was going to make hunting harder.

He hardly seemed to flinch at anything she did. Kicking his stomach, scratching his face: did @Orei even feel any of it? It was the most dissatisfying thing imaginable, trying her best to one up this lion, her brother, who thought he could dictate her life, only for everything she did to be insignificant, unworthy of a response. It made her feel helpless in the worst way.

The anger and aggression in her changed, shifted suddenly to panic. That wasn’t how this was supposed to go.

She couldn’t draw her foreleg away from his face fast enough; his jaws clamped around her wrist in a firm but gentle grip, pinning it there, rendering it useless. Aneistri struggled against Orei’s hold but fighting him only managed to bruise her wrist against his teeth, his hold unrelenting. Her growls became more frantic, and she pressed upward against her brother’s much larger frame with her other three paws—hinds to his stomach and free forepaw to his chest—trying her damnedest to push him away while still also trying to free the captured limb.

“Let go! Let go, let go!” she screamed, demanded, pleaded. In frustration, in anxious retaliation, Aneistri drew the paw on Orei’s chest away and instead lifted it, swinging wildly at his face in an attempt to batter him into releasing her.

The fatigue surged within her like a tidal wave, relentless and consuming, as the warmth of her blood seeped away into the encroaching darkness. When Reti sank his fangs deeper into the tender flesh of her paw, Miaran’s heart thundered in defiance; she "attempted" to claw more at the soft insides of his mouth, refusing to surrender, consumed by a fierce need to wound him further.

Drawing strength from the depths of her pain, she steadied herself, her hind legs braced, feeling the instinctual fire ignite within her. Her fangs grazed his muzzle, a warning, a promise of the fury that simmered just beneath the surface. With a primal roar echoing in her soul, she lifted her battered arm, fueled by instinct and desperation, "aiming" to drive her claws deep into his throat, to rip through sinew and flesh with every ounce of strength she could summon.

Words had abandoned her; her ears were deafened by the cacophony of screams and chaos that enveloped them, fading into a distant, forgotten world. There was no turning back now—the axe had swung, and the blade was poised to sever the last threads of her sanity, but she would fight with every breath, every heartbeat, as if the world itself depended on her resistance.

Everything happened so quickly. She was attacking Miaran and then the witch was gone and she was being attacked by someone else. But it was @Reti ♔'s call for Miaran's head that took her attention and @Elaine's attack hit her target. A growl formed and Aphrodite looked to Elaine then just as @Hanneth called out for her son. I yield. I only attacked her because she attacked my children's grandmother. Otherwise Aphrodite probably would've never went for the bitch. Ears twisted as she turned away from the Wolfbron woman and towards both Hanneth and @Roan.

Aphrodite moved closer to Hanneth as she spoke about making Miaran's life a living hell. Literally and Aphrodite offered her shoulder to the woman. Not even noticing her freedom was at stake. That her own daughter was helping @Iðunn fight Velasco for it. No, her focus was on Reti's fight and she knew this would determine if she went for the Cove now or not. It wouldn't matter where she was anymore. Miaran needed to be taken now.

OOC: Aphrodite has forfeited the fight and is standing beside Hanneth for support.

His mouth is filling with blood as she slashes more at the inside of his lower jaw making things difficult as the majority of his breath became came dependent on his nose - a slightly dangerous gamble.

Bronze/black/brown toes are spread slightly, claws gripping the blood splattered ground aiming to aid balance worn by fatigue and blood-loss.

The sensation of her claws digging in deeper prompted his jaws to fall lax and wide, tongue attempting to push her paw out of his mouth as his body coiled, muscles bunched and tensed.

Reti leaned his head and frame slightly to his left and attempted a forward lunge pushing from all four grounded limbs with jaws aimed at the right side of her throat and neck, attempting a grasp and hold.

Miaran's jaws sought his throat as well. Narrowed multi hued eyes caught the image of her fangs approaching, fractions of seconds drawn out one a a time, in concert with a thundering heart.

This was it. The last push. The final surge of energy and effort, the heartbeats that decided it all. He did not want to die, but if he did ... well... it was a life well lived.

Right up till the very end.
