The flesh she had between her fangs finally loseenes and she manages to rip that bing chunk of flesh with her. Blood sprayed everywhere, including in her face. Wondering if he will reward her or be proud if she brought this piece of fur and flesh to him as a macabre offering of her win.

The slender lioness was careful in her search, she walked softly, around the border and friggin lions, gently calling out for her grandson, her ears pinned back as a look if worry furrowed her brow, her tail flicks in short jerks. Pyracantha chirps a little louder, trying to call out and lure him to her, she doesn't even notice she is being approached.

She is startled by the feeling of someone's head pressing against her, a small gasp coming from her but she catches his scent and leans into her husband's embrace, giving a small smile, finally, shed found home. "My love..."

She is ready to recount her adventures and tell him of @Giovanni when the cub appears, winding under her feet and around her legs, she lowers her head to press a kiss to the child's head before giving him a stern look. "You are not suppose to run off... You know better Giovanni." She scolds him softly, wrapping a paw around him gently, but with enough to hold him close.

"Meet our grandson."

She looks to her husband, keeping her voice quiet, even though it would be hard to hear her anyways with all the fighting.

Only then did she release the woman and back away a step to allow her the space to get up.

Wow, and others said Heloise was crazy. Ye talk too much, she commented. Granted, she could barely hear the other woman under the discordant howling from the spirits. Good thing she was used to that, or else it would have been seriously distracting. Then again, little was more focusing than the pain of her cheek being ripped open, or claws sinking into her shoulder. If she wasn't careful, it wouldn't just be her markings that looked like bones, she would be flayed open to them.

Word from down the grapevine was someone was getting hitched at the lagoon. Adalyne had been lingering near it ever since @Colsun had invited her to take shelter there during the storm. She was the type to hesitate about things like officially declaring herself part of a pride, but the lions there had been growing on her.

As she’d strolled casually towards the lagoon the sound of battle and scent of blood greeted her. She tilted her head and quickened her steps towards the beach unable to help but wonder what sort of wedding she was about to show up too. Judging by the screams of both terror and battle as she finally came within view these lions had some pretty strange customs.

And the. She heard someone cry out, aiming to lay claim to lagoons heir. So it’s that sort of party. understanding dawned on her as she spotted a strange lioness jump towards Colsun’s defense - just to be rushed by a comically smaller lions. With a huff and an irritated growl she wondered for a moment what sort of lion ganged up on another, but by the looks of things around her many lions here did just that. She hesitated, wanting to go to his aid, but also knowing it wasn’t really her place. So she stood there watching the two giant lions and the stubby legged fellow.
