'Show them how we treat unwanted guests!’ the words rung out in his small ears, and he thinks to himself they are silly words. Because he was certainly not unwanted, his gran had come all the way outside of Amaryllis to bring him home after all. Yes he wasn’t focusing on the fact that she had actually gone looking for his dad. He was better than his dad anyway, and dad even said so! Why would he be lied to?

A quiet hum in his throat was given while he carefully moved from cover to cover, he just wanted to see. That was all. And as he hid in a washed up log, he watched with golden hued eyes the fighting taking place. His little claws kneading the bark excitedly. Then his nostrils flared a bit smelling something that had only been described to him, the smell of familiarity and danger. Wolfbron.

Quickly his eyes darted amongst the crowd looking for the red maned lion that was his gramps, almost hungrily looking for him. If gran came then he would go to her without objection, but for now he was content to hide in the log and watch.

A thud came against his side, and for a split second, the old man thought he was being attacked, but there was no pain, no damage. Pulled from the frozen moment in time with his own father, Roan finally blinked back into the present to find a young girl clambering at his side, appearing to seek comfort and protection before realizing she had made a mistake. @Clove cut her words off the moment she realized she had not found her Papa, but the second she pulled herself away from her grandfather, Roan knew exactly who she belonged to. There was no denying that mask, those freckles, those green eyes.

"Tai," the mauve lion practically blurted out the name in disbelief. Though, of course, he knew she was not Tai, but she must be his daughter. "It's okay. I won't hurt you." Roan was quick to try and remedy the situation, not wanting Clove to run off just as quickly as she had appeared before him. "Are you hurt?" First things first. Make sure she was okay. If she was running for her father, it must be for a reason, right? Hopefully, she was just scared and not injured, but Roan wouldn't leave her side if she stayed put.

There's a lot of jiving bodies on the dancefloor, but he could see the one moving swiftly between them, against them as she came straight fucking for him. He braced for impact as he turned slightly towards her and met her force with the right side of his chest and right shoulder. At the time that they met (bodies), he had three paws on the ground, one raised in preparation to cleave her side, and all three slid into the sand on an angle with her force. His right paw never did what he intended it to do, though, because he decided to pay more attention to staying upright than whatever he was going to do with that paw. He was caught up in the explosion of their bodies as her front legs wrapped around the bulk of his shoulders and her jaws somehow found the place where his shoulders bunched before he finally burst into action.

Right back at her.

With what little traction he could gain in the sand, he attempted to push forward, to shoulder her in the chest or the neck - whichever was accessible with her teeth lodged into his back. And then that free paw - yes, the one hanging there waiting for its time to shine - finally swung into action! As he flexed his claws, he attempted to drag it down her left side, hoping for it to be successful as he clenched his jaws against the pain blossoming both in his shoulders and his chest.

The dutiful Gentry moves across the borders of the Lagoon without hesitation, this is war and there would be time for asking permission another time. Carefully the red maned lion moved to accompany Louve's side, this time no one would try to attack her. He felt he had failed his duty last time and it irked him terribly. Pyracantha had been searching for Mars but he trusted his wife’s strength to come back on her own, unbeknownst to him she had. With a little goblin in tow. Carefully eyes scanned the battlefield unaware there were a set of little eyes upon him.

Um, excuse me. What happened to the 'relaxing on beaches all day' vibe she was promised? Okay, so maybe she wasn't promised that, but that was the impression she got from the Heir. Roz arrived to the chaos just in time to see who she assumed to be her new queen jumping into battle while commanding the Scillan members to greet their guests. Despite her size, the maned woman was a fighter by no means; only when she had to in order to survive, and she'd done pretty well surviving thus long. That ideology probably wouldn't fly all that well with these lions, though, so Roz just kept herself a bit on the outside of all the chaos.

Where was skunkboy in all this anyway? Dual-colored gaze swept the area for the only pridemate she had met since joining, finding @Colsun a ways off and yet to partake in the fighting. There was some stripy girl talking to him, so Roz hung back, continuing to just watch the chaos unfold. So much for chill.

She was keen on keeping watch on the sidelines until she was needed, and yet that was not going to be the case as she caught sight of someone barreling towards her. Stopping in her tracks, Aphrodite braced herself the impact but when it came and she felt herself being hit and skidding back, it was his leg and paw holding her up that caught her off guard. Ears twitched, hearing his words as she would keep her face neutral, or perhaps a bit more pissed than normal, but she would nod and shift her weight enough she would be able to attempt to snap in his direction but she stopped her jaws just inches from his face. Then let's talk and dance. Her words were whispered for him alone and she played this game with him.

As he leaves behind his childhood friend, @Jazmin rushes to his side. The relief he feels to see her - a genuine friend - in the midst of all the chaos is entirely misplaced. It isn't the time for him to feel happy to see anyone, let alone be grateful she hasn't become a turn cloak. “Luther of Ecrosia Mire has brought war to the wedding of two pride mates. Looks like Vermeda and Caladan are arriving now, too. You should find somewhere safe to stay, Jaz, it's not going to be pretty. Can you prepare some medical supplies? I have..” and during this, his eyes scanning the group catch sight of a familiar lioness. @Anniston. His heart sticks in his throat because where there is Anniston, there is Orson – right? And Orson.. Orson would not side with Luther.

His mind churns. Is she being held hostage? She reeks of Ecrosia. No, no. She must be held hostage. She must be there against her will, like Freja had been. Colsun's vision narrows. As much as he loathes the woman, he knows what his brother would want him to do. He knows Orson would want Colsun to look out for her, because the two were weirdly inseparable as children and teenagers. Fuck. “I think I have to try and save that bitch,” he says with an exasperated sigh. “Be safe, Jaz, okay? Remember our lessons, and call for me if you need help, okay?” He lowers his head to briefly press his forehead against hers before he turns, releasing a challenge for Anniston Frei.

Talk about déjà vu.

It was pure, simple, absolute, luck that found him so close to the lagoon when the call for aid rang out. Hadn't they just helped defend Scilla? He vividly recalled giving some other yearling some new facial decorations (and then helping patch him up after, but that was a whole other thing) pretty recently.

Zaahir left off his herb gathering, though, always eager to get into a good scrap. And by the time he arrived on the Lagoon borders, things already seemed to be in full swing. Which, unfortunately, made the task of picking out a good target among the various tangles of bodies a bit harder.

So the red youth would content himself, for the moment, with stalking the outskirts of the battle, looking for someone he could have a little fun with. All in the name of alliances and support and all that, of course. Not just because he'd been bored and restless at all.

This. This is what he was aching for. What his blood screamed and yearned for as it bubbled in his veins like a demon screaming. Vincent is a golden adonis as he arrives - or so he thinks. His massive form slinks in, not hesitating at all to step over that intricate line of lion territory. In fact, he took a moment to piss on it, along one of those nice palm trees that sprouted up near all the scuffling.

Sighing, the beastly creature spots a nearby striped woman. Oh, how lovely. Though the closer he got, the more he realized she wasn't a lion. And she smelled like this beach. A scowl crossed his features as he snorts, "Despite being kind of hot, I think I am obligated to fuck you -" He pauses deliberately, a slowly smile curving his lips - a glistening shimmer shown on his exposed teeth as they brandish at her. "Up." As his teeth clicked on the word, Vincent attacked.

He ignores whoever was talking to her and goes straight for her throat. Teeth attempt to snap around it as the mass of his weight attempts to barrel into her with as much force as his powerful back legs would allow.

He wasn't actually sure he liked sand. It was squishy and shifty and interesting to walk on, but it also stuck in his fur in an annoying way. Well- maybe that could be useful, actually. Ears perked toward the sounds of someone yelling first, for a party, and then for help. How interesting. Had to be some sort of record, as far as party-turned-disaster went, right?

Nico flopped to his side on the shore, begrudgingly rolling himself in the sands and taking on the scent of the local beaches instead of...vague rogue. The point being, he aimed to smell more like sand than lion, and, thus, go unnoticed when he crept over to check out the developing chaos.

Stealthily, keeping low and quick, and using the growing shadows of dusk to his advantage, Nico made his way toward the lagoon borders. He'd fold himself into as small a loaf as possible, tucked behind a convenient coastal boulder (just barely within the border markers), to peer around and watch whatever was happening within the territory.
