Muscles tense and twitch in protest against each other. Her claws slash at his chest forcing more blood to flow and soil the mucky ground beneath them. It's a wonder the two of them haven't slipped and fallen by now as her paw throws muck onto his chest. Jaws continue to remain clamped though she feels fatigue from the pressure of her jaws on him and eventually she releases if only to attempt to aim a nip at his cheek. Let her continue to soil his stark white pelt. His own claws come up now and rake at her armpit, Amorette snarling as sensitive skin tears and she is forced to unhook her arm and back off if only to protect whatever skin still remains.

remain calm, the end has arrived

Ow. His beautiful pelt, a symbol of all that he was and would be, was quickly marred by blood and dirt. Both could be taken care of afterwards, though, and at least she was backing off... though not before ripping a tuft of fur from his cheek. Now he could straighten, and his paw which had been reaching underneath her came up in a swift motion, attempting to hit her in the cheek. His claws were out, not holding back just as she hadn't with him. If he was even capable of doing that anyway. Probably not, honestly. He did enjoy the fight, though, so while he was outraged that she hadn't just bowed before him as she was supposed to, he was delighted that he'd gotten a battle out of it. All the better to prove he was right, right? Just... ignore the fact that his chest was shredded.

Foolish bastard. As she expects, the woman driven by her primal hunger to protect her meal. Her greedy and selfish need to keep every morsel to herself propelling her to maul @Everick into submission. Teeth find their way to his ear and she grips and rips until she feels the thin flesh tear as half of his left ear is removed. A mark to forever remember her by. Then she separates, satisfied, as she spits the bloody white piece into the muck. "Still want it?" She taunts, a snarl suffocating her words as she lashes her tail and moves to stand over her half eaten carcass.

He felt a piercing pain in his ear, a white hot searing sensation that didn't fade as she jerked away from him. A low bellow of pain left him, escaping his best efforts to keep it in. His pink eyes stared at the strip of white on the ground, trying to make sense of it through the haze of pain, and when it finally sank in that it was part of him a wicked snarl left him. He almost lunged at her again, fury filling him at her audacity to taunt him, to say nothing of the fact that she had maimed him so visibly. He would forever be reminded that he had lost to a woman, and anyone who looked at him would know. The only thing that kept him from getting right back into the fray was the fear deep down that he would lose again and just make things worse for himself. You will pay for that, he snapped, thickly accented voice even more inflected with the pain he still felt. This was a blow not only to his body but his pride. (One that he had sorely needed, but he would never realize or admit that.) With that he turned and stalked away, going to take care of the bleeding himself which was only going to make things worse, but he was hardly going to admit to anyone what had happened. He could hold a grudge for a while, and she would discover that when he came back for her. -exit everick-

His howl of pain is invigorating and Amorette flashes her fangs. Tail lashes behind her as she remains standing over her meal, the boy claiming that she will pay for her deed. She stares him down as he turns to leave and only when his pale white form disappears into the distance amongst the rainforest's foliage does Amorette lower her crown to resume feasting. She was unbothered by his threat. She had won, he had lost. It was rather simple in her mind. If he tried to mess with her again, she would be aiming to take more than just half an ear. Next time, she might attempt to take his life.
