October 11, 2024 Something is happening in the Scorched Wilds. There is a battle raging between a familiar force and an unfamiliar one. What will you do? Help or hinder?

October 1, 2024 Spooky things are happening as the afterlife start walking among the living once again.

September 30, 2024 Louve Dieudonné manages to keep Wolfbron Bluffs in the family. What will happen between the Bluffs and the otherwise peaceful pride of Lorien Plains?

September 20, 2024 Ilarion Rurik challenges for Wolfbron, will the Dieudonné lead pride fall?

September 8, 2024War broke out once again in the Lagoon when a wedding had some uninvited guest arrive. The war results in the most death matches the island has seen at once. The Summit was challenged by Brighid with Talisa answering the call. After many years of the Summit have the same two leaders, the Summit changes hands. What will this mean for the balance of Amaryllis? A witch hunt has started by Luther and Miaran which seems to be turning things on an island that is full of magic.

August 25, 2024 War broke out in the challenge for the Lagoon after Cassius tries to take the Lagoon from Isla. The Cove remains with Miaran. The leadership of the Mire switches from Sigrún hold to Rike when Luther comes back to take his birthland back. Elephants push into the Rainforest and push out the lions there. Soon after Lucifer lays claim to his birthland and takes over the Rainforest.

June 27, 2024 Conflict and tensions rise as prides come head-to-head with one another across Amaryllis - just as Pyrrha and Cassius take the leap to try and claim (or reclaim) their own thrones.

May 24, 2024 Rulers continue to shift, family strife ensues, and, per usual, tensions seems taunt and always lingering on the horizon.

April 24, 2024 Things are rocky within Amaryllis as the Dieudonne clash result in three deaths and forces a shift in the rulership of Firnen Rainforest. With Caladan Cove freshly overturned as well, what will the consequenecss of these events be?

March 30, 2024 The lull has ended as a long standing family, the Dieudonné, launch death matches against their own. The Plains sees a challenge from a new comer, Aphrodite, and the quite pride is pushed into the spotlight.

March 19, 2024 A momentary lull has overtaken the lands of Amaryllis as its inhabitants attempt to find their footing and rebuild after a string of challenges. How long it will last, however, nobody can be quite sure.

February 11, 2024 The Mire has fallen from the Stärke family and is now held by Luther Rike. The change has stirred but the fighting nature of those on the island. The Brook finds a new leader with Icefang and Isla takes over the Lagoon after a storm pushes out the old leader. Reti finds himself the leader of the Hollows after Alexander is hurt. The Oasis finds a new leader in Léonie who is soon tested by Harou.

January 8, 2024 The snow has finally begun to melt anew, which means that the world is slowly returning to the much-anticipated summer season. With the various holiday activities and the other jests put on by Nafasi also coming to a close, it is safe to say that winter is finally over.

December 5th, 2023 Nafasi had pulled a cruel trick and has sent Amaryllis back into a renewed winter season! But it's not all bad, because the lands will also see a handful of holiday-themed events popping up as a result. To make things more interesting, a wayward trio of travlers have also arrived and are facilitating a mass competition between the prides, bands, and rogues -- formally dubbed the Amaryllis Winter Games.

December 2nd, 2023 The spring air brings forth a number of pride challenges. A familiar challenger for the Cove and the Oasis arrive to try to earn what they want. The new leader of the Lagoon is tested in battle as well. What changes will come from the challenges? Who will remain standing and who will find their world turned upside down?

November 27th, 2023 In a challenge between mother and daughter, the leadership of Wolfbron Bluff changes for the first time in 5 IC years.

November 22nd, 2023 Two death matches, one resurrection, and an almost-war later, the lands find themselves in a constant state of turmoil and calamity. Families have been torn apart and endless blood has been spilt; but how is it all going to end?

November 3rd, 2023 The lands stir violently as a death match rages on between Aeistrios Saxe and Morrigan Greyflood. Observers spill into the pit in droves to witness what will no doubt be a historic battle -- and it is clear that this familial fued is far from over, no matter who wins and who dies.

October 12th, 2023 With winter comes the surge of more pride challenges; Ludivine challenges Ryker for Firnen Rainforest and is victorious in her endeavors, meanwhile an outcropping of maims breaks out on the sidelines. In a shocking turn of events Luther returns to challenge Bruno for Ecrosia Mire, will the former heir prove victorious or has Bruno got what it takes to keep his brother's ambitions at bay? This has undoubtedly shaken things up as Bruno declares war against Andal Oasis and Allies in the process!

He moved with calculated precision along the rocky shoreline, where the tide had receded to reveal a hidden world of tidepools nestled among charcoal-colored boulders. The air was thick with the scent of salt and brine, the rhythmic crash of distant waves providing a steady, hypnotic backdrop. Each step was measured as he navigated the uneven terrain, his paws leaving faint impressions on the wet sand.

Pausing near one of the larger pools, Dominic bent low to the ground, his gaze sharp as he studied the creatures that had been caught in the retreating tide. Small crabs scuttled across the sand, while shimmering fish darted in the shallow waters, trapped by the rocky barriers. There were a few bits of greenery that he wasn't familiar with either. He leaned in, sniffing it softly - it didn't look like seaweed. Almost looked like grapes? Brows furrowing, he'd gather the wet orbs and tuck them in his pouch.

Focusing back on the hunt, he let out a low, resonant call, inviting others to join him in the hunt, the sound carrying easily over the water. The shoreline held an array of possibilities, and Dominic was determined to make the most of them. As he surveyed the landscape, he felt a familiar thrill — the anticipation of the hunt.

She loved the ocean. Many of her family members did. Her parents in particular had seemed fond of the places where the sea met land. And so Chimra had grown up often playing on sandy beaches and rocky shores. Even now she sought out such places when traveling new lands. New places such as this one.

The rocky pools fascinated her. Little watery lands with self contained worlds. The astral marked lioness was content to sit and watch one of these little worlds until the call went up causing her head to lift and her form to rise into a standing position.

Softly she murmured her hunters prayer, asking her god, Su'fu'duan, to bless the hunt she was about to venture forth on. To grant any prey found as painless an end as possible, and to bless her with success and a lack of serious injury.

With a stretch she jumped down from her former perch and wandered towards the summoning male, wondering what it was he might have spotted to hunt. Pink gaze slowly scanned the sand ahead of her noticing hoofprints sunk into patches of sands between pools.

Hoofs. She lowered her head to sniff lightly, working to identify the scent and shape. Her instincts said Giraffe. Although it was an odd place for one. And the size was small. A calf? Quietly she sought to draw close (but not TOO close) to the male. Nodding to @Dominic with a faint smile she would softly gesture her head towards the prints and say "Giraffe calf, I think." it would be hiding nearby, perhaps laying down to make less of a target of itself. She was willing to continue tracking if he wished, to flush it out.

Simalarly to the smaller dark lioness who had come before her Mirai found herself tracking some ... odd tracks in the black water dampened sand. Tracks that led her down the shore to rock pools.

Honestly Mirai had no idea what to think of these little ponds at the edge of the sea. You could not drink them. And the little creatures inside were not worth trying to eat. Yet the caramel feline thought perhaps there was a certain entertainment appeal.

It was not often one could watch fish swim so clearly. Or the funny way the tiny not-spiders moved sideways. Sure she was a dedicated huntress. But one had to take a little time off once in a while...right?

Yet when she heard the low call to a hunt Mirai tossed aside leisure for focus. It was time to go back to work. Her gaze shifted to the sand between pools, working to figure out what might be worth hunting for.

Following both sound and large round tracks she found the other two gathered without much issue and chuffed softly to announce her arrival.

Finally, a big piece of prey to tackle. Kyra carefully avoids the tidepools, she wasn't in a particular mood to get her fur wet or coated with the uncomfortable grit of sand. The summon for a hunt has her trotting forward, a chuff slipping from her lips as she finds the rest of the group. There would be enough of them to help make this hunt easier. She lingers on the side, waiting for one of them to take charge, her tail curled around an ankle in anticipation. She was ready to feel the familiar hot, iron taste of blood upon her tongue.

She was starting to believe that just following that painted lavender man around would do well for feeding her entire family forever. She'd paused in her exercises of swimming against the tides to turn toward what might prove to be a better use of her time. Exercise with a meal, and it had come to the shoreline once more. Pulling her soaking form from the waves she was paused long enough to do her usual routine of sharpening her protruding fangs and the claws of her webbed toes before moving toward the sounds. This time it was a giraffe, a new sort of challenge from what the same man had offered before, and she waited for a moment between the few that had already gathered, giving way to their experience before challenging the beast.

The sleek leopard crouched low in the underbrush, his crimson eyes narrowing as he watched the group of lions prowling near the tidepools. The salty breeze carried their scent to him, a blend of power and hunger that made his muscles tense with anticipation. He knew these lions well; they were skilled hunters, formidable in their strength and unity. But the leopard, with his solitary cunning, had learned to use their strength to his advantage.

Lorant followed them at a distance, his pawsteps silent against the damp earth, each movement calculated. He waited, watching with sharp intensity as the lions began their ambush. His mouth watered at the thought of fresh meat. As the lions closed in on their prey, the leopard shifted closer, careful to remain hidden in the distant cliffside. He knew the moment would come when the lions, distracted by their feast, would leave an opening. When they did, he would strike swiftly, claiming his share before vanishing back into the shadows.

i'll be your slaughterhouse, your killing floor

amaryllis is a pandora's box of wonder and awe. every new terrain would reveal its secrets, its unique charms. exercising, gaining his strength, raizo is finally getting used to his mortal body. his flesh feels warm, toned, laced in sweat as he surges forth; charging into a sprint over the pliant sands. after he does a lap around the shore, he comes to a pause, biding his time, regaining his breath.

taking his time to further sharpen his talons, the golden beast would drag his nails over the harsh, granite surface of a nearby boulder, disturbing the rubble beneath his feet, as he takes the moment to sharpen his claws. his claws would tap and slide viciously over the boulder, sharpened over and over until they glistened in their obsidian sleekness. satisfied with their new-forged sharpness, raizo would then move away, shifting his muscular figure towards the side.

up ahead, the scent of prey beckons,

the scent yet another hunting party looms before the golden-haired basilisk.

as easy as sin, the flaxen beast would join them in their hunt, his massive paws devouring the earth below, the flex of his talons stretched outward as he aims to close the distance between them, to cleave his talons into the giraffe's side. his jaws salivate readily, fangs gleaming over ink-stained lips as he snaps for the tender, meaty flesh; hoping to ravage those long, gangly muscles and tear beyond the flesh.

Only this and nothing more
quoth the raven "Nevermore"
It's only natural that Kinga's paws should pull her back towards the sound of the sea. The ocean still represents a vast collection of unanswered questions, and she not going to give up on scooping out it's answers anytime soon. So far, however, she has learned far more about this rocky shoreline than she has about the boundless water's existence. She has learned that when the tide drops, it can reveal countless treasures and oddities behind. The pools left behind hide a plethora of fascinating sea life and complicated structures of brightly-colored...rocks? They seem unusually alive, but Kinga knows no other way to describe the coral she sees.

She also learns that there are plants that continue to survive amidst the rocks, despite the overabundance of salty water. Distinctive specimens bearing thick, spiky-edged leaves that she simply has to detach for further inspection. If she's correct in her guess, then aloe is quite a find - useful for all sorts of beauty tonics and fur softeners, she thinks.

When the sight of the towering giraffe breaks her concentration, she knows somehow that a certain lilac hunter won't be far behind. Carefully tucking her samples away, the magpie would creep closer, her ebony form flowing gracefully around the countless pools.

The bone marrow of a giraffe might could be an interesting addition to her tonics.

She had always appreciated the shoreline as an ideal spot to collect aloe. There was something comforting about the salty breeze on her lips while she admired the horizon. Today, however, her attention was drawn to a different plant, one less familiar but intriguing with its clusters of pods and golden blossoms. As she crouched to examine it more closely, even reaching out to taste a leaf, a sudden roar interrupted her focus.

The unexpected sound drew her paws toward its source, curiosity replacing any initial wariness. She hesitated, unsure of the crowd that had gathered. Being among many was still a strange sensation for her, especially without a single familiar face to ease her discomfort. For a moment, she feared another conflict might be unfolding. However, as she approached and noticed the group's attention was fixed on a giraffe, her anxiety lessened. It was an unconventional choice for prey, but the number of lions present made it a feasible challenge. She'd prepare herself to participate, ready to assist in what she hoped would be a swift and effective hunt. Simultaneously, she kept her pouch accessible, prepared to offer aid should any injuries arise from their ambitious endeavor.

Oh hell. Being a small and pretty little thing, she isn't exactly equipped for situations like this - beyond having the same fangs and claws as everyone else, that is. But even demure young ladies had an appetite, and it was about time she put her skills to the test. She wasn't an especially well-honed huntress, but Cora would have been loathe to let any of her girls get married off before making sure they could feed their husbands and children. So she knew what to do, she just preferred when others did it for her. But hunger gnawed at her, and the giraffe looked practically on the cusp on collapse anyway... So why not just sidle in towards the end and act as if she'd been here the entire time? Yes, that sounded like a good plan. There were a few bigger looking cats here - a couple with distinct scents attached to them, with the intriguing promise of prides and kingdoms to learn about. How exciting! With all the bluster required, a keen mimicry of the other hunters, Lucy hopped into the group and started swiping at the patchwork hide of the giraffe. Hunting quarry this big was intimidating, but needs must and all that.
