TO WATCH YOU CRAWL OUT OF YOUR CHANGING SHAPE

his heart thuds in his chest, alive with prayer - alive with violence. perhaps, it is his stubborn nature, his refusal to bend down and give up. the diaphonous blue mist rises to meet his toned flesh, caressing and smoothing down his tall body. every day, the scars would collect across his frame. in light of the recent events, he seems to be covered in more scars, more blood, more wounds. but, what's new? this was his life - it had always been his life. violence would find harou, even when he tries to seek for peace.

moving across the hard ice, his hulking mass would surge forth through the haze of falling snow. they would pepper his face, landing upon his eyelashes and cloaking his brawny shoulders in a soft veil of ivory. this time, he does not enter the pool of hot, warm water to wash the blood from his fur, as it sputters and bubbles luxuriously by his feet. harou lowers his head to lap at the warm liquid, letting it fill his mouth and slide down his throat. his ears flick atop his bearish skull, listening to the hour of the night as she falls to a crisp, wintry silence.

only the thrum of the surging liquid, and the harshly singing gales, would touch the desolate evening.

It's as though their subconscious was tethered. Isla couldn't remember the last time she had visited the hot springs with @Harou not present, but it was a welcomed sight nonetheless as she moves through the plumes of fog and steam. Ears twist forward as she releases a chuff of greeting, purple eye watching him as he laps at the pool of water. It causes a brow to rise as she wonders just how satisfying warm water felt running down your throat.

"Harou," she breathes as she closes the distance between the two. She is unsure how he would react to her new scars, to her new handicap. Would he see her as less of the warrior Queen that she was or would he feel the need to wreak havoc on whomever caused it? She is holding a breath she didn't realize was being held hostage, exhaling slowly while giving him a small smile in greeting.

snowflakes continue to flutter down, caressing the flesh of his shoulders and spine. an eerie tranquility would settle over the rising mist, the stirring diaphonous threads running through his long blue-black hair, rustling the tendrils of his silken mane. a disturbance in the atmosphere suddenly shifts, however, causing the leviathan to suddenly lift his gaze from above the warm waters.

slowly, he looks up, up, up. red eyes dance to @Isla ♔'s beautiful form, studying those thick dark legs, the shashaying of her hips and colossal curvature moving gracefully towards him. his gaze descends upon her eagerly, taking every inch of her form, assessing quietly. it's the sight of her cloudy eye that gets the most reaction however, as harou's features would darken into a scowl.

"your eye." he breathes out, a hot rush of air pushing past his obsidian lips. he seeks to close the distance between them, to breathe upon her until they were centimetres apart. "who?" while he had attended the scillian battle versus the brook, he was too busy commanding from the sidelines to know the full details of who did what and how.

a hand would try and rest against her cheek, caressing gently, as he tries to get a closer look at her eye (if isla lets him).

She stays still as he nears her, her good eye watching him while he inspected her - especially her face. His words cause for ears to flicker, the tightening of ebony lips as they drew into a thin line. "Icefang." The woman's name is almost hissed out, Isla's tail lashing behind her, showing her true feelings for the white woman that ruled the Brook. "She blinded my sister and I went to repay her the favor." A short laugh escapes her, trying to keep things lighthearted between the two of them, "the plan backfired."

Her cheek presses into @Harou's touch, purple eye closing as she inhales a deep breath, trying to soothe herself and calm her thoughts. "She will get what will ultimately come to her in due time," the Queen comments, strength and certainty lacing her words. "But enough about me. How have you been?" She had seen him at the war between Scilla and Vermeda but she was too preoccupied to know if he had gotten into any fights of his own there.
