Claws hook into his elbow, eyes wincing from the tenderness of the area, his own claws seeking to try and rake down her body, attempting to do as much damage as he could. All around them more battles exploded, the sounds of his aunt and her opponent growing ever more desperate and loud. He needed Isla to come out on top. He could not lose yet another home.

The woman would come up alongside him, distracting him, forcing him to pull his attention solely from the male to focus on where she was attacking him. It would have been nice if the girl they fought for had divided and taken on Heloise, but alas…he could not be angry at her inexperience…well he could and was but…that was for another time. In his splendor he perched, long tongue lolling and scarred lips hitching around yellow fangs. In his eyes, joy at her bitter reply and her offered blood. His face could show little through its knitting of scars but she would know (would know in darkness, silence, and a winter storm) his continued petty joy in ever needling her. Pettiness was the most decadent of sins. For those with time on their paws and few cares. Did it not imply his supremacy, more than any other act? Not that everything he did was not a vile act of superiority, but still.

And still, he had been alert, trusting his ears while his eyes feasted on her maim. A scrunch of sand - near. He hunched his body, ducking, gathering his center of gravity, then splaying toes against the downward rush of what felt like a whole planet's mass. Mire, he smelled. And the individual scent, a stranger. Ah, did he not always attract the envy of strangers! He felt the pressure of fangs twist a bite through his scruff, bruising the skin and fat and dampening several puncture wounds. He felt, less, a weight and pain on his shoulders. Skin bleeding, wet blood like a storm burst. Yes, very wet and tender feeling. He could not yet know anything beyond the pain and the adrenaline to suspect poison.

Front paws aimed to shove himself backward as he fell, his front half crunched toward the sand and his naked hippo ass squirming to try to pull himself out of a pin. Fangs swung around and back over one shoulder to try to slash the lower part of the enemy's closer side.

Karsus nearly had the wind knocked from him from the fall. And all but managed to barely scoot his backside just an inch or two to his right to avoid a rather disastrous clutch to the groin. Regardless, he lets out a hiss at the sting inches from his stones, and lashes out without even thinking.

His teeth had let go to speak, and Karsus all but lost his full grip at his opponent. A growl escaped him, pain ran the length of his bits and down his side and leg. The wheat boy takes his front paw and swipes at the sand, upward in a jagged motion to try and blind the other momentarily. His neck lurches up, his teeth snap shut towards the soft supple flesh of his jugular in an attempt to clamp down, through and tear it. His right paw (the one that had tried to fling sand) sought the red flesh of the armpit, tearing down, then up in a J motion.His left paw went right back to the neck, trying to latch himself back into a better position and to try to keep the other from moving too far out of his grasp.

His hind legs tucked and sought to push straight up, and knock the lion boy right off of him.

Naza hadn't expected a real fight to be brought to her doorstep so soon. The scuffle with the boy back home had been nothing compared to real bloodshed.

And pain.

It was an odd sensation, both delightful and unbearable, as the pale boy's teeth sank into her own flesh. He was stronger, bigger, hungrier than her previous opponent. Dare she say she found it endearing, charming even, that he would grace her of all people with his wrath.

He hits his mark behind her cheek where the head and neck latch. She makes a soft sound, though whether it's from pain or pleasure she cannot quite discern. But her body reacts as her brain catches up--Nazara jerks hard to the left, away from him, and down. Her right arm moves to lower on his neck as she tries to sink claws deep into the flesh of a forming mane, then jerk in a Z motion. Her left arm bends and its claws seek to latch onto his under-neck with similar motion. And her teeth mirror his, trying to snap down at the joint of skull and neck.

Astarte snarled with frustration, blood coated her lips and claws and it enthralled her, battle was her purpose, and it became her high. She could tell she was doing good damage, and she refused to let up, not until a large paw slammed against her head and pinned her to the sand. She roared with anger and snapped at the paw holding her down, attempting to get her fangs around his wrist, her front paws would aim to lift up and bat at his head, or his chin, maybe her claws would find purchase in his face where she could tear strips downward into his jugular.

The lioness was like a wildcat, curling in in herself, shoving her body against him, batting at him with all different appendages, she only hoped she landed her blows.

Her head stilled as his jaws tightened, but she refused to let go of his limb just yet. She wanted to have some sort of leverage to use against him if he decided to start crushing her skull. She had a sneaking suspicion she might be short an ear after this fight if she wasn't careful, but since she had two of them she supposed it wouldn't be the worst thing.

She attempted to rake her own claws down his limb from his elbow as his claws left deep slashes in her side. She'd have to sleep on the other side that night, clearly. Because she was going to be walking out of this, thank you very much.

She pulled her claws free of his limb and lifted her paw further, attempting to reach up and sink them in around his ear that was closest, because she didn't think it was fair that she might lose an ear but he'd have both of them. Though, she'd settle for whatever part of his head she could reach.

The man didn't even attempt to fight back against her, and she couldn't turn her head to see that Colsun had him in a rather good grip. Not when she was so busy with trying to even the playing field against him. Which she realized she had managed to do as something slammed into her side, forcing some of her breath out of her in an "oof" and pulling her away from Lathan. She attempted to keep her claws and teeth on him until the last moment, attempting to use the momentum of the other woman's shove to worsen the wounds, but she wasn't certain how successful she was as she immediately turned to face the other.

Her hind end swung around to keep her more in line with Colsun, barely managing to avoid crashing into him, possibly bumping into him however, and she lifted her left front paw with her claws out as she attempted to smack Freja in the face. She didn't particularly want to cause a lot of damage, given they were trying to free her from the Brook pride and all, but a fight was a fight. She could offer to patch her up later if they succeeded.
