His comment was true and Aphrodite would just nod her head before returning to the subject of the Mire. I've met Zahra and have spoken to her about a possible alliance. From what if taken in she will be a good and better leader than Luther was. She would comment. She had never met Luther, had seen him when she first arrived when he had fought and killed his father only to have Morrigan bring him back. Granted, Aphrodite didn't really know the relation between Luther and Alaric but did it matter when neither really died. But Aphrodite had also not seen either male since that fight but she knew enough about Luther to not like him.

Taking note he nodded his head but was unsure if he had met either of those who she spoke of. "Allies are a good thing. We can’t have everyone and their pet hippocampus hating us." His voice was smooth with a small teasing jest in there aimed at the hippocampus. "Though I am not sure if I have meet Zahra, or Luther. If I have their names aren’t ringing any bells." Speaking honestly he shrugged his shoulders hoping that his reply wasn’t taken the wrong way. He might explore but he hasn’t been as far as the mire pride yet.

True but we can't have everyone as our allies unfortunately. She would explain. The world would forever know peace if that were true. But then if they had nothing but enemies then Amaryllis would never see peace. And right now, the only one that was keen to sink her teeth into was the Oasis. She had remembered that Harou had called for her freedom, and that Milano and another had defended her, which brought her attention to the present. A small smile formed on her features at the mention of not meeting either. You cannot miss Zahra. She is a very beautiful red lioness with dark markings. She would state, having admired Zahra not only in battle but while she had gone to the Mire to visit. Luther on the other hand. I have only seen him once and I was in my own fight with a red striped woman. She would state, not realizing that was Milano's mother.

He knows a world of allies was a false world. Hate was a strong emotion and so was malice to let it fester behind the curtain of peace wasn’t a good thing. "No there always needs to be good and bad in the world. Times of tension and peacetime it is how things stay balanced." He wasn’t a complete idiot after all he knew how the world worked. Maybe not the very darkest and dangerous parts of the world like @Aphrodite and Miaran, but he knew enough.

Just like he knew that he would be loyal to his Queens and not hesitate to defend either of them. He would defend anyone in the pride without hesitation or without even needing to be asked.

Listening to the descriptions of the two given he noted them away. "I will keep my eye out for Zahra. Though this red stripe woman is she a threat?" Curious he wanted to know if there was someone out there that needed to be watched out for. He too didn’t know that it was his own mother.

And if she needed to be the bad in the world then Aphrodite would gladly stand up to the mantle and be the villain in someone - anyone's - story. Including her own. But for now, she was at peace with her decisions in the world as she would listen to him. I owe you a thank you. You and Otter, for defending my freedom against Harou. I am in debt to you both. And she would be until she could return the favor. Whenever that may be.

And then he was speaking of Zahra and the red striped woman, in which Aphrodite would shrug her head. I can't tell you. She attacked me at the Mire when Luther was fighting someone else to the death and I was a rogue. I haven't really seen her since. She would admit, removing herself from the muck she had been standing it and felt it begin to itch.

Hmm, he had always thought he would one day play the hero not the rebel defector. He didn’t mind it was just how things played out. If @Aphrodite was the villain he would be right there to play the part of henchman for her. Not that she wasn’t capable of getting her own things done. Still everyone needs back up sometimes.

Speaking of backing her up as she thanked him he just shrugged his shoulders. "Don’t worry about it. I would do it again without hesitation for you or anyone in the pride. You all are like family to me." He admitted. Of course it probably sounded cheesy but it was the truth to how he felt.

Thinking about this strange woman that attacked Aphrodite while she was a rogue he tucked it away in his brain. "Hm, maybe she got caught up in the moment? Honestly that sounds like something my mother would’ve done. She is quite impulsive when it comes to fighting. Maybe I get it from her." Giving a chuckle at the end to lighten the mood.

A smile was brought to her features at his words. I'm glad to hear that. I want the Cove to be just that, a family. We all depend on each other. Regardless of blood or not, Aphrodite wanted everyone to feel like they were welcomed. That they could trust the two Queen's and come to them like a family member. She wasn't one to throw that away and knew that she would do that to those if she trusted them fully. I have grown very fond of you, @Milano, and see you as family too. She would soon admit to the hunter.

Then he spoke about his mother and she chuckled at the thought that he got his impulsive acts from her. Perhaps that is something we have in common about our family traits. She would comment. My grandmother was quite impulsive on some of her decisions, mainly those that had to do with fighting. She would continue going up next to a tree and rubbing her body against it to get rid of some of the dried muck on her pelt. It was becoming impossibly itchy.

"The cove being a family sounds nice." Admittedly it really did sound like a nice idea. Sure he had some family but he wanted to build his own and why not build it with his pride? Smiling at @Aphrodite 's words he felt his face hot and flush for a moment. His tail flicked behind him as he fiddled with his paws moving from one to the other. In away he was still just a teenager but he wasn’t a child. He was growing up and maturing into his own. "That makes me happy I always wanted a big family blood and not blood. It makes things better and interesting." He wasn’t sure just how he felt about Aphrodite other than wanting to protect her as family. She was strong, pretty and confident. Being around her he felt comfortable. Like an older sister but not quite the wording he was looking for to describe her.

Ears perked hearing about her grandmother and he chuckled at that too. Seeing her rub on a tree he turned his head to the side curiously. "Itchy? Perhaps we can find a creek or something for you to wash off in?" Yes he was indirectly telling her to take a bath. He had after all already called her stinky.

It does doesn't it. She would muse at the thought. Just as she kept itching off some of the dried dirt. Ears twisted on top of her head as Aphrodite would glance over to him and give the younger male a small smile. Something you will eventually learn from me, @Milano. Once you have earned my loyalty it stays, but you have to do something terrible to break it. Miaran had gained her loyalty fairly easy. Reti had it before she had even met the man but it was now more in take than ever before. And once you become someone I consider family, my loyalty is stronger than ever. And then he brought up her itching and she'd give him a teasing growl. That'd be much appreciated.

He was learning quickly that there was more to @Aphrodite than he had originally expected. He had thought she had just been a new queen not used to others calling her by her title, but he had quickly realized that she was much deeper than that. Her dedication to her pride, to her wife. Almost every hunt he had she was there. Like clockwork it seemed either she, Miaran or both was there. Which for a small pride was very morale boosting.

"I don’t plan on being disloyal to you or Miaran. Though I don’t know finding away to - that sounds like a challenge of some good mischief." Be teased his face clear as day showing that he was very much joking about trying to find away to break her trust.

Giving a wink he chuckled again softly as he looked around. Ears perked on his skull as he listened to the sounds around him to maybe find the sound of water. He couldn’t really depend on his nose right now all he really smelt was her. Looking back at Aphrodite as he motioned with his head and started walking. "This forest it is the farthest north I have explored in Amaryllis so far. I am surprised that it is so crowded with trees." As he spoke it probably wasn’t the most interesting things coming out of his mouth but he was also trying to distract her from her itch.
