Through exhaustion and the inability to feel much in her mouth Pyrrha's tight grip falters and releases the paw. Her swollen and bloody face bores an intense gaze ahead and Pyrrha loosely and sloppily aims a final glancing bite to Miaran's left cheek. Her right paw recoils back from the strike and then Pyrrha slams it downwards once again on a path towards Miaran's left forepaw to attempt and drive her claws down into the top of her paw. Her stance in the wet sands felt strange, wobbly, as the exhaustion began to reach into the deep parts of her muscles and her body screams for a break from the exertion.

It was a successful maneuver and she heard him hit the ground just as she was whirling around. But she was struggling, hard, and felt that herself wearing down much quicker than he. He was already coming toward her again, paws lifting to grasp at her and pull in. She tried to dig her feet into the ground but wasn’t able to get much traction as the sand gave way, so instead, went with the forward momentum and aimed to meet him in his hug. She lifted her chin and raised her jaws to snap at his throat in an attempt to make one final mark of her time here, her own claws seeking the muscles upon his back.

Daedric had barely had an opportunity to familiarize himself with the Cove before a looming threat of displacement came. Prides had proven to be unstable places in which to live, unlike living with a group of wandering nomads who made every place their home.

The boy would watch the goings on, paying extra attention to the main battle happening for the crown. He would do his best to learn what he could from it, be it in the initial attack or the manner in which one defended against one. As he watched, he would take note of the queen, attempting to claw at her opponent's sensitive tongue.. interesting.

While he sat, remaining tense and ready should some stranger attack, he would sharpen his claws on a bit of rough ground, mismatched gaze unwavering from the duel before him.

His hug was a success but it had left him open. As she went for his throat he shifted his head just in time to feel her fangs against the side of his neck close to his throat but not quite there. "Damn." He snarled and hissed moreso at himself than her. Scolding himself for not keeping his throat always protected even though in battle that wasn’t always possible. Feeling the blood running down his body he was starting to feel dizzy. This fight was taking a toll on him. Attempting to return the favor he attempted to run his claws down her skin as her own ran down his back. Damn were all the desert lions brutal in their fighting style?

The challenge goes up and catches the male by surprise, he rises from his resting spots and makes his way slowly toward the sound. Someone has wandered into their lands to challenge their ruler, he lets a low growl rise in his throat, he knows it is the way of the lands but still - it rubs him the wrong way.

The scent of intruders fill his nostrils, and his lips curl. There are so many of them. He recognises that it is a spectacle, and of political importance, everyone wants to see if a new king or queen is about to rise - who will be the victor?

What he sees is the high sovereign locked in combat, from where he stands he can't gauge whether she is winning of losing and he lashes his tail. There is nothing he can do. His head twists to search out those he knows and a rumble rises in his throat as he sees his brother also locked in combat.

The growl rises to a roar and he barrels forward, claws unsheathed and fangs bared, but he honours his brother's pride and does not interfere. Falling short of the combat with a huff, his claws biting the sand beneath him, his frustration palpable. Instead he twists on his heel and moves closer to @Aphrodite ♔, muscles tight beneath the fur. He is ready to fight.

"Who are our enemies?" The words are snarled, his tail lashing and his gaze flitting toward @Milano, his concern is written all over his muzzle.

A cry of bloodshed echoed from the cove alongside booming thunder. The storm had kept him awake and he'd wandered away from the brook into neutral lands until the cry for battle drew his paws onto the sandy beaches, rain and ocean salt tainting his fur.

The monster would arrive late to the party as he paid little attention to the onlookers. He had no business with them, and Miaran had not called for their aide so he was here to spectate. To watch their newest ally defend her thrown. And what a glorious battle he had arrived to witness. Even if it appeared to be nearing its end with how much blood already mixed with water and sand.

The monster would remain standing outside the border his claws digging into the sand and his tail lashing behind him as he waited for the results. It would be in their interest for Miaran to remain queen, and he had faced her in a mock battle. He knew her claws were sharp. He could only hope they would dig deep enough to crush this foolish youth grabbing at her thrown. Of course, once this came to an end he'd be there should the Cove call for the assistance of their allies to clear out the rabble. He wouldn't mind bleeding his claws a bit.

The Oasis lioness attacked @Milano and Aphrodite side stepped out of the way, bringing @Zinnia with her as she felt the girl come between her legs for protecting. That only further fueled her hunger for blood. Knowing the girl was there and could be attacked like last time. A growl erupted from her lips and as others began to filter in, Aphrodite felt herself growing ever tense. Soon @Tanmay arrived and Aphrodite glanced qt him with bright eyes. Andal. They are our only enemy. Yes things were rough with the Hollows but Aphrodite was not going to let anyone attack them. Not this time. But the Oasis. They were free game and there was at least a few here and some she couldn't see.

it's a femininomenon!

She follows her dutifully, a shadow to @Pyrrha's setting shoreline sun. Though their paths diverge quickly, Andraesa is not one to abandon her post without reason, and so she settles on the outskirts to watch.

Her lilac eyes are glued to the brawlers, gray on pink, storm on sunset, neither giving way to the other's onslaught. Maybe at first, she had found the petal princess something to be desired, something to be studied, but now... now some inkling of respect had trickled into her brain, corrupting her scientific reasonings and theories.

Pyrrha, beyond anything, was intriguing.

She crept closer, her interest not yet satiated at the battle seemed to wind down. @Aphrodite ♔ lingered near, protecting her boundaries and pride as other matters raged on. Despite the tension, despite their opposing champions, Andraesa could not help but offer the queen a little smile.

Your Sovereign is a whirlwind, I see. And your pridemate as well. she pointed towards Milano, with his oddly familiar striping and orangey coloration. Where had she seen that build before? The challenger has her work cut out for her.

louve does not hide. she does not skulk in the shadows or watch from any hidden point. the call for her ally's crown has her striding in, uncaring of who might see her or wish for her blood. perhaps, even, looking for a fight, if she was entirely honest with herself.

it had been too long.

she is late to arrive, eager to see the outcome all the same, sensing that the victor will soon be obvious. watching her newest friend closely and strangely pleased to see just how viciously she fights.

louve is guarded and alert, paying mind to her surroundings even as she watches, ready in case those gathered decide to turn on her.

He'd actually just been passing through the general area when the sounds of fighting caught his attention. And of course that would pull him away from whatever else he might have been meaning to do. Of course, he did spare a moment to collect a very nice looking piece of driftwood before reaching the border and flopping himself down respectfully outside. It meant he was a bit late to the party, so to speak, but he could see two fights reaching their ends. One seemed to be for the territory itself - two women tearing into each other. Another seemed to be a pair just a bit older than himself trying to tear actual pieces off each other.

Zaahir relaxed half on his side, his bit of driftwood held between his paws so he could chew on the end. Both to direct a bit of his endless restless energy and it always had the added benefit of helping to keep his teeth clean and sharp.
