The rising move is shown through the entrance of the smaller cave system that Vlad was staying in - how time seemed to fly. How weakened his muscles became after the long periods of rest within the home cave. The beast stepped out of his den which was littered with bones from his previous meal and made his way to the pit.

Stepping down into the pit his ears would swivel back against his head his irritation was palpable. Maybe another round in the pit would make him relax a little or at least he hoped that it would. Lips would part as the creature called, a long strong of chuffs meant to beacon forth an opponent. Only time would tell if he managed to enjoy this.

She is not adjusting well, and with the rising warmth of Spring at hand the lilac woman sets out with an aimless purpose. There's an itch behind her ear that just won't scratch and it doesn't take a genius to determine the source. There is no depth to this nagging sensation, no grandeur image painting a reasonable explanation. Reverie is bored, and boredom made for a reckless companion.

Perhaps that's why she doesn't hesitate, doesn't waltz in like a gladiator high on anticipation like breathing in primrose. Instead she hears the call and enters quietly - wordlessly as if on a hunt.

The unfamiliar man is larger, but it doesn't deter Rev from all but springing down into the pit. Her mis-matched gaze barely tracing over his dark stark frame before lurching forward. It's as much of an introduction as he'll get - I'm here, were you waiting long?

Her shoulders roll forward defensively, legs spreading for balance when she strikes. Attempting to come up on the brute from his left side at an angle. Her jaws snapping for the left side of Vlad's face in attempt to bite (maybe a little too hard). Reverie's right paw then swiping out in an attempt to hook her partially exposed claws behind his left forelimb; just behind the joint in hopes of catching.

Now with one year she felt bold enough to venture beyond Vermeda's borders alone. Just to see the world for herself now that she had the capacity to do so. And of course the first destination was going to be the Pit. Where lions often fought for whatever reason there was. And she wanted to be a fighter like mother was.

So she wanted to come and get familiar with these places. And perhaps she could catch a fight going and learn from it right?

And today seemed to be lucky day. For she had spotted a fight. With calm expression she sharpened her claws on a nearby rock before sitting down to observe the two exchanging blows. Hoping this would be a fun show.

Unrelenting.

That is the first thought when his eyes catch the flash of movement that is Reverie and her explosive approach. His upper lip would curl high above his teeth, a predatory grin given to his new opponent. The woman rolls like thunder up onto his left side, her teeth aimed at his face; seeking to carve away at his flesh. But his weight would shift onto his front right paw and hind paws in an attempt to rock away from her teeth even as they slashed along his cheek.

His head would try to turn and surge forward with slackened jaws but mouth soft. The creature practiced measured control as he aimed to grab along the tip of her muzzle, with his upper fangs attempting to lightly press into the flesh along the left side of her muzzle just behind her nose.

In his eagerness to try to gain control of her head, he doesn't even notice her paw until her claws are cutting into the flesh along his left forelimb. The pain flashes upwards and inwards across his stomach as blood collects at the surface. The beast would try to raise his left forelimb to both try to tear it from her grip and also try to lash out at the flesh around her chin.

He grins and Reverie cannot help but be drawn in; just how lethal are those teeth - or were they just for show? Show me. There's something unbridled in every one of her movements, impetuous even.

For while his weight shifts enough to pull back from her fangs, her chest rumbles in a frustrated response at her teeth having only dragged along his cheek. She does not miss the way his head turns but there is already so little space between to pull away unscathed.

Reverie feels his larger jaws begin to wrap around the end of her face; and she jerks her chin up to try and smack into his open jaws. Causing his fangs to dig and scrape perhaps deeper than intended along either side of her muzzle. Attempting to keep her jaw slackened just enough to try and bite around his own bottom jaw in an audacious predatory kiss of fangs.

The scent freshly drawn blood weeding it's way into her senses.

He is controlled; but she is heedless, wild.

Which is probably why she didn't see his paw coming, yet having already bucked her chin up, his long claws rake just along the side of her cheek toward her ear instead as her own paw loses it's hold. Forcing her to displace her weight back into her hind legs in order to strike again; attempting to swat at his left shoulder instead.

Could she feel it traveling the space between them? The aggression that stretched out from her to him? The creature is somewhat amused, even in all her feminine beauty and grace there was something elegant about her savagery that he couldn't exactly put a claw on.

But even as his upper teeth push into her flesh due to her chin's jerk — he found himself inwardly winching. The creature would keep his ears pushed back against his head even as a snarl rips from him as her jaws close around his bottom jaw. A dangerous position to be in, his mouth held hostage. Her bottom teeth puncturing along the bottom of his chin and releasing rivets of blood from the new wound.

Vlad would attempt to sharply flex the muscles in his body as upper jaw attempted to push down further into the bridge of her nose — an attempt to tighten his hold. Her fury finally striking against his own akin to a lit match to the pyre. Even as his left shoulder suffers the puncture of her claws and the pain works its way through his body, the male would wait a moment before retaliating with that raised left paw — attempting to slap it into the right side of her neck; claws extended and fully aiming to entangle themselves in her flesh.

So why is she fighting so hard? Slipping well past the edge into that hungry abyss, eager to swallow her whole with her own rage. Yet even now she can begin to feel the reciprocity of her aggression in the way he moves. Stop holding back! She wants to scream at him, suddenly reminded of the firm way Ardent had handled her previously. Like a child.

She does not want gentle, she wants real and one way or another she'll get it.

Though in this case, Reverie might have bitten off more than she could chew; their jaws locked in a mis-matched grapple, Reverie can no longer tell if the copper taste on her tongue is her blood or Vlad's. The sensation of his jaw flexing, tightening, causes feral hiss to escape her chest. Instinctually she gives a jerk all while attempting to keep her own hold but damn ; the pressure of his teeth and maw cause a crushing, burning sensation along the upper half of her muzzle.

A fuel to the stoked flames while a quiver runs down the lilacs woman spine, attempting to drag her risen paw downwards then just as his own massive mitt strikes against the side of her neck. It's like a hammer and causes her to stagger sideways at first, her hind legs shifting to try and regain balance while a new pain blooms along her neck where his claws cut past the shadowy tendrils of her fur and flesh.

He is captured in her grip — jaw held hostage by her bloodlust and yet he finds it giving him cathartic waves. Even as the blood pools and she jerks her head and deepens the wounds under his chin. Flesh torn asunder by the woman with pain singing from every severed nerve ending. A small part of him wonders why he is holding back, why he keeps himself from digging his claws and fangs into her, why he shows such flippant disregard for both his own growth and well being while caring so much about both things for a stranger.

She was in a manner of speaking everything he wanted and hated all rolled into one package. The light so distant and yet it was held between his teeth — captured and within his grasp. How little it would take to suffocate out such wicked light. But there is that shaking of his own muscles as his paw makes contact with her that snaps him out of his thoughts as well as her claws tearing through his flesh — blood; when was the last time pain made him feel more alive than dead? He couldn't remember.

Jaws would attempt to squeeze further still; to give her the violence she craved even as she staggered to the side the creature would attempt to wrench his head in the direction that she staggered in an attempt to throw her off balance once more. Perhaps throwing the random woman into the dirt would sooth some of the confliction he held caged within his heart, but he doubted it. His lifted left paw would try to lash out against at the side of her neck at the same time as his head; in an attempt to aid him in his attempt to throw her down.

What did you really think would happen?

Reckless. Impudent. Foolish.

He takes advantage of her imbalance and between the crushing pressure over her muzzle and the sudden twist, she falls without grace. The contact of hitting the ground enough to cause her to release her own grip at last as a hiss escapes her burning lungs.

Oh but it's there! That rush, that hot electric spark hungry to ignite.

And then it's gone.

The taste of blood turns sour in her mouth and as she lays there looking up at the dark stranger, emptiness seeps back in. No, no, no...

And it's gone. That rush. That sweet zenith of burning delight and purpose - gone.

It does not quell the fury behind her steel and icy gaze as she pants and licks her bloodied chops before pushing out a dark paw in an attempt to push him away. He's won after all - what more is there?
