Once upon a time, a god was ripped to pieces and placed within four boys: the brothers Bjorn. The Heart, the Eyes, the Lung and the Hands. The priestesses that cursed the god were, in the end, made sacrifice for it - and the brothers fled from their bloody tomb with four shield-maidens in tow. Sheol and Faolán are the two that remain. From days spent in the captivity of the brothers hungry claws to nights wrapped in one another. Their relationship flourished from sisters-in-arms to something deeper, something undeniable. Their love grew - grows - stronger with each passing day.

Draven and Sheol have always had a tumultuous relationship that is often equal parts hate and affection. He nearly died at her hand, once, and neither have ever forgotten it. An undercurrent of danger lingers over their every interaction.

Faolán has all but tamed Draven, wrapping that red, red thread so tightly round his throat. She tugs and he heels - or so they all think. She wields her femininity like a weapon and the brothers Bjorn fell in line.

To add some additional information on Draven and how he may react to this:

Draven has long suffered nightmares, due to the split soul of the God he harbours. He has a close affinity with a flock of ravens, and believes himself to be able to “see” through their eyes in moments of deep meditation, so to speak.

With the development of his relationships with the maidens Draven has fought more intensely for control against Bjorn, essentially serving as two unique identities in one body. One the vicious and blood thirsty god and the other the lonely orphan boy who only ever wanted to belong.

It is Draven’s belief (and thus life-long intended purpose) that reproducing will “free” him from Bjorn and the gory nightmares/memories that haunt his evening hours.

I am unsure of the direction I will take him after the cubs are born — there is the potential of deep mistrust/hatred if he believes that Bjorn now lives within the offspring. Or, possibly, resentment if his struggles and nightmares continue despite having done his duty. There is unlikely to be any true love, and if there is it will be in fleeting moments.

It may develop over time depending on if Draven finds peace and contentment or if he spirals in to madness. In any case, much fun to be had!

EDIT:
In addition to the above there is the ability for adopters to write the child as if they are Bjorn reborn, as this is what Draven/the brothers always believed would happen.

GENTLE x HAUNTED x HUNGRY (for?) x SWEET x INNOCENT

A gentle, sweet child that is tainted by the curse of Bjorn. At first, she probably won't notice it; the god would likely groom her into trusting the dark voice in her head, but as she gets older, she might experience blackout episodes where she comes to in a place she doesn't recognize, or remember going to. Sometimes she's amidst carnage, sometimes she's wearing their blood, and most of the time, she doesn't remember a thing.

Perhaps if her parents watch her with a careful eye, she will promise them that she's just fine - while under Bjorn's careful orchestrations. Sometimes fragments of memories come back to her at the worst times, and sometimes she gets so caught up in them that all she can do is lose herself. Sometimes that involves just sitting quiet, kind of dazed; and other times, its inconsolable sobbing. It's clear to see that she is often troubled, but by what or who is anyone's guess.

Lilja is deeply ashamed of her secrets and would do everything in her power to keep them just so: secrets. Bjorn will make her do many wild things in the woods as she grows into her body, unknowingly allowing him more and more control because she just thinks its her conscious speaking back to her (or some little, similar naive thing).

Lilja seeks love where it is given, and her weakness is that she loves to feel wanted or needed. She will likely throw herself at anyone's feet that need the help, offering her assistance at any little task. Any boy (or girl?) that shows her an eye of interest is likely to pique hers as well, but only in the most innocent, school-girl kind of ways.

Reserved - Ambitious - Disciplined - Loyal (to Bjorn)
Inna is one who will stick to the shadows—stick to the role that he's been given—until it's time for his rise. He bears incredible patience as he waits for the right moment and this patience translates into the reserved demeanor he carries throughout all of the interactions of the day-to-day. He does not act until he has thought through the situation, but don't think he hasn't already considered many scenarios before they ever happen. His mind is constantly focused on the future and how his long term plans and goals might end up and the steps he needs to take to get there.

He is steadfastly disciplined and is very self-controlled. When duty calls, he will strike (and HARD) but he understands when he must hold back; violence is not his first instinct. But when it IS time, he is a relentless force that cannot be stopped. He cares not for anyone who stands in the way of his duty and will even set aside his own ambitions for those of Bjorn.

Goals/Ideas
The hitman
Thinking after his first birthday, he finds that he's inherited Draven's visions, though they only come in puzzling bursts at first. Different faces. Faces he doesn't know but that he never forgets. (possible future hit list, lol)

Maybe as he ages, different parts of Bjorn begin to emerge on each birthday, and parts of himself are lost, until all four have combined and he becomes Bjorn once again?

Despite her gigantic proportions, Morwenna is a nymph of the night. She is all parts grace, yet so full of her mother’s fire - persistent and bold. She is extremely observant of those around her, but she tends to keep the observances she makes to herself. Always storing information, and always trying to get the upper-hand on those around her. Morwenna is meticulous; this is only shown in the way she acts around others.

It is likely she will strive hard to keep this composure. Always, she wears a mask of calm. Even in situations where most would be prone to fright, she holds her façade. To Morwenna, there is no time to waste on trivial issues most do. Every waking moment to her matters, for she wishes to waste no bit of her life. This may be easily read by others as unnerving, and has the potential to lead to issues later on down the line.

She is cold and calculating - always seeing things on the logistical side. However, she is not incapable of emotion, nor is she weary of companionship. Morwenna has the capabilities of forming enough of a bond with another to ensure a mate, yet it all falls on them to be aware. They must know of her demeanor, and they must crave it. She is extremely meticulous about those whom she chooses to give herself to - both platonically and romantically. It is a feat in it of itself to get close to Morwenna, yet it is not outright impossible. To those she knows well, she is still as shunning as she is to a stranger. However, there is moments in time when her true feelings shine through.

I think it would be really interesting if she only spoke in rhymes or referred to herself in third person. But, if that’s a bit too far out let me know ! Don’t mind scrapping that idea
