Failure gutted her like a pig – the heathen’s body scrambled as the two lionesses found themselves falling apart, distance swelling as the victor became ever-so evident. The yearling’s eyes flashed quickly in a look of displeasure at the realization of it all, her lips curled, stained with blood, as she reared her head promptly back in @Miaran ♔'s direction. “qui es-tu ?” who are you? she questioned, nearly a demand as the persian words fell naturally across the air between them. Given the fact that the older woman had spoken their sacred tongue with such brashness prior, Delphine was sure that, should she turn out not to be Dieudonne herself, she would have ample more questions to ask. But that revelation would come soon enough, and Delphine already knew that idle chit-chat would not serve her attention for long. Frankly, she was tired and bruised and bloody now, both physically and in ego, and would soon look to rid herself of these crimson-stained walls.

As soon as she got the answer that she sought, that is.
