So she tolerated the occasional rasping cough as she sat outside her den, enjoying some of the afternoon sun as she sorted out her herb stores. She would have to send Alvena out for more, because making the trek down the mountain and back up again didn't sound appealing to her, but first she needed to figure out what she actually needed. This at least was something she could manage, and was well used to doing.

Summer
Summer is in full swing now, with clear skies, warm nights, and ample sunshine! As such, the deserts begin to grow dry, the shores remain a blissful escape, the north is spared with cooling winds, and humidity continues to rise in the jungle. Rain and storms are long forgotten troubles by now, which is both a virtue and a vice during the heat of the season.

OOC: Funny that I have been coughing for months now and here you are posting a thread about it lol
Hanneth moved through the snowy lands taking it all in. It was very different than the peaks but her memories of the first pride she decided to stay in was distant. She had small memories but most are from the Tree and the Jungle. Mismatched gaze watched as the wind pushed up some snow and moved it around as the sound of a cough mixed in. Hanneth's ears pricked as she looked around and didn't see anything at first. Maybe it was the wind? She brushed it off at first but when she heard it again she couldn't leave it alone. Hanneth stood and made her way to see who was coughing. It wasn't good normally but in this cold, it could easily mean something else. She spotted @Faelyn sitting outside her den. Has she been coughing? Concern crossed her features as she approached her daughter-in-law. Faelyn are you ok? She looked down toward the herbs that were in front of the pale lioness. Hanneth wanted Roan to have Faelyn till the end of time. She had watched them both grow and then grow together. She didn't want that to change. She moved to headbutt Faelyn gently.

Another little cough masked @Hannath's pawsteps briefly, but when she spoke Faelyn looked up with a warm smile. She was touched the woman was concerned about her, though she didn't want her to have to be. She was, of course, the family's other medic though, so it did make sense.
I'm not sure, honestly. This cough simply won't go away no matter how much garden cress I stuff down my throat. But otherwise I feel mostly fine. A bit run down sometimes but fine other than that, she replied. Admittedly, she didn't feel great when she woke up in the mornings sometimes, but that was neither here nor there she thought.
One of those... getting older things I suppose, she commented. She wasn't as young as she'd once been, unfortunately. Time moved inexorably onward, much as they might like it to stop from time to time. Have you and Dero been doing well? I know the colder weather can be tougher on old wounds and joints.
