She wasn’t even sure why she kept returning to this place. More, well most of her memories had returned to her in her time away, but what that really meant did much matter. She had a family out there somewhere. Adopted children and children of her own blood though she didn’t know if she would be welcomed back into their lives if she found herself standing before them. Still she would be happy to see them even from afar. Maybe she’ll find them within Amaryllis?

Taking a deep breath she let out a sigh. Scanning around her the orange faced lady came to a stop in the middle of the passage. “Wonder if anyone will come.” She questioned aloud as she searched her surroundings.

Sand crunched under her paws as Cassandra made her way into the Passage. The paths carved through sand were familiar to her, and she walked with ease and casual air through the land. Maua's Passage was a place she was used to making her way through, knowing she couldn't be stolen and wanting to keep others from having the same happen to them. Tail flicked lazily behind her as she meandered through the land.

Spotting a form up ahead, Cassandra would pause for a moment before continuing onward with a more peppy pace. A polite chuff was given as she got closer, to alert the woman of her presence. "Greetings and welcome to Amaryllis. How can I help you?" She said, stopping a polite distance away from the other lioness.

Toes wiggled in the sand as she stood there. Ears perked on her head twisting at the sound of steps crunching. It wasn’t long after that she heard @Cassandra calling out to her in a chuff. As the sound echoed the orange faced lady turned her gaze towards the brown hued woman. A smile crossed her face as she shifted to stand at a more comfortable position.

“Hello. I am Arjana Huntsong and um… I am unsure.” She answered truthfully. “I have lived and loved within these lands before, but left because things I’d rather not talk about now happened. I am mainly seeking a place where I can settle down for the rest of my life as I enter my elder years.” She explained calmly looking at the younger lioness.

"Is it retirement you seek?" Pyrrha has been listening in and it seems to her @Arjana is merely looking for her quiet place to curl up die. Crawled away in the back of some pride as creatures as want to do in their final moments. If this was true then Pyrrha had nothing to offer the woman.

But despite what she's said the rogue seems in good health to the royal's assessment. Older but not necessarily impacted greatly by the grasp age had on them all eventually. "I am Pyrrha. If you're able and willing I can offer a place in Caladan. But I do not offer it without expectations of contribution in return. My parents have successfully defended their position multiple times, we are strong and stable."

She moved through the passage at a lazy, relaxed gait until she spied a small cluster of lionesses in the distance. Picking up her pace, she moved with more determination as she neared to recognize @Cassandra, and another -- or at least, she swears there is something familiar about this female. The other, is young, a strawberry lass whom Ghyslaine smiles at kindly as she arrives- noting the comment of elder years. Politely, she waited for a gap in the conversation to speak, and she would then offer warmly. "The Plains is stationed central in the lands, and if it comfort and safety you seek, we can provide that." She says simply. "I am Ghyslaine, Heiress to the Plains, and we're fairly laid back- focused more on enjoying life and each other's company than anything else. If it is retirement you seek- you would be welcome among us." She adds with a grin- content to let the female choose from any option presented to her and defend her right to choose if someone else came along to take that away.

A flick of her tail was given as @Arjana spoke of having been in these lands before - and perhaps if Cassandra had been more observant she would've recalled seeing the woman at one of the many challenges she'd attended when she was younger. "Well, the Brook can offer that for you - but we do ask that any able bodied member help out in whatever way they are able to. Be it hunting, cub-sitting or something else that suits their skills." Cassandra started to explain, twisting an ear around as she heard pawsteps approaching them on the sand.

Noting the scent of the Cove, and recognizing some of the traits of Sunder within the youth, she figured the yearling had to be one of Sunder's brood. She'd not had the pleasure of meeting any of them yet. "Sunder's daughter, I presume?" She asked, posing the question to @Pyrrha ♔ as she spoke. It wasn't meant to mean anything, just the Brook Queen making connections between those she met. And then a familiar face showed up. @Ghyslaine had arrived, in representation of the Plains. A smile and a dip of her head was given to the wheat lioness as she spoke of the Plains. Her attention would turn back to Arjana then, curious to see what the older lioness's response would be.

Was she looking for a place to call her retirement home? A place to curl up and die? No. She might have been getting older but she wasn’t really ready to crawl in a hole and keel over. She just wanted a place she could settle down and hopefully live out the rest of her remaining years. Thought Amaryllis was an unpredictable place and who is to say what pride will remain as it for how long. Looking thoughtfully at @Pyrrha ♔ as she arrived and said her piece the orange faced lady shook her head. "Not retirement per se just a place where I can settle down in the lower ranks, but still help out when needed. I might be getting older but I am not dead yet. I might not look it but I still have some pieces left to me." She chuckled softly as she sort of motioned to herself. She was pretty scared up and not the prettiest to look at anymore that she did know. It no longer bothered her.

Ears turn to @Ghyslaine having heard the lioness arrive. Thinking about what was said from the Plains heiress she thought about it. About all the information given to her from all three even though @Cassandra had been the first to greet her and she was sure the Brooks was lovely under her it was Ghyslaine's offer that she decided she was going to take up. She was fond of the idea of living in the plains. "I thank you for each of your offers ladies and it has been a pleasure to meet you." She said politely dipping her head to each one before stepping to Ghyslaine. "Though I have decided that the Plains shall be my home. Lady Ghyslaine if you’ll please lead the way?" With that she would wait until her new Heiress was ready then leave with her.

It did not take much for @Arjana to make her decision and she is pleasantly surprised when that is Lorien. She smiles to her, before politely dipping her head to @Cassandra and @Pyrrha ♔ and she would step away from them, making her way to lead Arjana to their home, and inform her of the ranks and the few laws they had- and the lay of the land, as conversation would drift and move on the way back. Ghyslaine felt a swell of success and looked forward to discussing more with the female, and picking her brain about ways to improve life in the plains- taking her age into consideration, it would be useful to learn anything they could from her.
