Luther's jaws coalesce round the bottom of her chin and muzzle, severing open thin skin and blossoming red wells of blood round the piercing points of his teeth. She lets the attack land and lets the target come to her. Jaws open still and ready to grab at the chub of his oh so angelic cherub cheeks and muscles round the gnashing jaw.

Child-drowning? A brief shock swept over Emory’s features before he could stop it, taken completely aback by the suggestion that there were others who would do such a thing. And the matter of an impending attack? How much truth was there to it? He didn’t dare look to Dio—there would be no speaking to her through this, he realized quickly, especially when Luther took off addressing the lot of them with his own haughty tone. Couldn’t he lay off the superiority kick for a minute?

Em only half-listened, still reeling, still piecing together what was happening during his father’s spiel, until it devolved quickly into a fight. His entire body tensed, bracing, as Luther leaped at their trespasser, and the albino prince took his opportunity to slink and sidle in closer to his sister.

This wasn’t how he’d envisioned the punishment of this particular trespasser playing out, and he felt the conflicting sensations of it churning uncomfortably in his stomach as he reached out and nudged Eris’s shoulder gently with his muzzle, still not taking his rose-colored eyes off the fight. “Schau nicht zu,” he warned her quietly, gently, taking pity on her already incredibly fragile state. Don’t watch. She didn’t need to see this.

He stepped in front of her, half over her prostrate form, head low in an attempt to block as much of her view as possible under the pretense of merely offering protection. His nervous glower was stony as he continued to watch the fight play out, silently praying it would be over soon.

Furious, and yet brimming with a sadistic excitement, the cruel King's attack lands, teeth rattling against the harshness of the blue foe’s chin bone. And yet it lands. Bruising or not, pain or not, pure spite makes him seek to drive his teeth in deeper, to try wrap them tightly around the woman’s lower jaw and to try and crush it underneath his hold.

It results in carelessness. Perhaps intended carelessness. Diomedeidae’s own teeth pierce into his cheek, leaving deep and nasty wounds that might very well scars his handsome face. Well, a man with a few scars was a hit with the ladies, was he not?

The pain then amplifies, in addition to the surge of pressure from piercing teeth there is a slight twist. A deep seeded, building, pain from her bones and muscles as they were twisted in the cadence of the dance. He metaphorically digs in his heels and worsened the damage with literal digging in of teeth and Dio does the same. She presses down deeper into the wounds she's just made across his cheek and aims to drag the opening down towards his muzzle and lips, curling the cuts rather than necessarily making them deeper.

Her heart thundered away in her breast, fast but steady. There is fright in her heart and soul but for now at least it was fuel more than a hindrance. Survival instinct take wing.

The sounds of commotion didn't take long to reach her ears, and despite being wounded herself she wanted to go watch what it could be happening. Quietly she went through the Mire lands with stealth and desire to have her presence hidden, inexistent. She just didn't want trouble even though she was not going to do anything against the sick rules her bastard brother had installed for them all.

She arrived to see such an scene. She hides within some bushed, eyes of green taking in all teu details she could get. And it seemed the the wretched lion was into taking yet another prisoner, was the lioness insane? To come and trespass here? Here out of all prides? Right into the pride with an abusive tyrant on its head?

Either way she aimed to hide and watch, using the darkness that the foliage provided to disguise her shape. While she aimed to be quiet and cover the tracks to where she was hiding.

Dio's strength gives way. She's held her own, she's proud of that. But she is not a practiced fighter by any stretch of imagination and endurance to withstand a longer fight she lacks in spades. The energy she has, the surge of need to survive and defend, wanes away until she feels nothing but a tremble down in her legs. She would not have the energy to run if needed, if she could get herself free of the lion's grasp. She has not been able to do enough to deter him or give herself window to flee and she knows it.

Dio loosens the pressure of her jaw and stands still there, eyes diverting from Luther she can only hope he will find reason to eventually let her go if she did not continue to fight it. Relinquish. Surrender.
