Asbjørn glared out into the fray. Eyes ever peeled for Aeistrios yet it appeared he wouldn't be coming. Perhaps he crawled off to die of his wounds. The Heir could only hope. A brow arches as the new king of Andal keeps all of the youth within the desert. Strange. Was he an ally of the Saxe? If so then why banish everyone else? Peculiar indeed.

Next time for sure, @Daneri. He responds with a soft smile. You should bring your sister next time too. Though he tried not to sound too eager about it. He had just never met identicals before. Could they read eachother's minds, he wondered. Had the Gods run out of ideas and just duplicated them? Or did they just like the design so much they thought the world needed more? It was all simply astounding to him. Lots of questions that, like their game, would have to wait for next time.

He stands, nodding a farewell to the gathered yearlings before turning to @Sæunn. I'll let mother know you're well. And as if on a second thought, paused toward Daneri once more. He approached the girl so that he did not need to speak over anyone else. My first birthday celebration is a belated one, but will be coming up. Along the Stygian shore in a couple days. My family runs a trial for their children. It's how we earn the surname, Sigrún. I uh.. Cue an awkwardly sheepish grin. I'd love for you to come. I'd really like your support. Usually it was for family only but he'd make an exception for a friend. And he'd be sure his family did as well.

be careful what you ignite; you wanted a spark but honey you got a wildfire

"I won't divide us more." Her sister's voice echoes in her ears but Leiah shoves it to the side, there would be no more feelings here. All she could feel was this deep pit of rage that she wallowed in. And she didn't want out. Her teeth sink into her sister's cheek and tear, but it isn't enough. It will never be enough to tame this hateful dragon within her. Siofera shoves outward, effectively moving her back a good foot or two in the sand. The shove was hardly aggressive though and it's only purpose was to piss her off even more. She retaliates by rushing back towards her sister, attempting to shove her chest against Siofera's before her teeth would attempt to snap at her face yet again. Relentless, and hungry for blood. "We are already divided. Father has done that for us." She snaps, because it was the truth. Their family was fracturing, and Leiah was the only one who wasn't blind to it.

Excitement courses through her veins as she realizes that her father's opponent wouldn't be coming. Realization begins to sink in that she was now a princess again. Just as she had once been when she was initially born in the Oasis. She leans into her father's touch, a smile beaming up at him before turning her attention back to both @Jude and @Apollo. "Do you hear that, we are royals now." She said with amusement before rising off of the sand. Surely this place was going to take some getting used to but Lucia was more than ready to be a royal. She was more than ready to make this place her own. She would rule with an iron fist beneath @Scorpius, and it certainly wouldn't take much to keep all the boys in line. She would rise at her father's beckoning, moving to follow dutifully behind him. She would be sure to send a snarky smirk in the direction of @Heisa and co, more than pleased to stake her residency in front of them.

By the time she arrived fashionably late, it seemed she was already second best. Naturally she expected Aeistrios to pummel whoever this was. Shove his face in the dirt. And not let him up; not tell him he was special or anything; because that was her position, an aim she gazed up upon most zealously despite her sullen resentment of the Mire's scents and confines. She was going to be a rock star. This new challenger was not going to steal her limelight as the most useless Aeistrios groupie.

The limelight was... not here. Fur rippled along her spine, fluff accentuated into spikes. She paced, she stalked, she waited, her yellow eyes glimmering with that type of silent fury that just begged for someone to question her so she could smack a bitch sideways. More than the plum male's absence, the fawning of the audience infuriated her. Could she ever be so worshipped by so many thralls and hounded by drooling, useless tongues, or would she always be relegated to second stage?

If only she could attain infamy without the effort that achieving fame required.

The merle lioness remained hidden like the good spy she was raised to be. Eyes of molten silver lurked in the crowd that slowly increased in size. I was wondering when the owner of these lands was going to show up. She was here for the morbid to watch blood shed, not because she was insane or anything. She just found it difficult to see the harsh reality of the world. As her way to remind her why she was who she was. Minding her own business and staying away from other's stupid drama. But at the end, he didn't show up. Her face formed a frown—a frown of disapproval. She was here to see fights. Yet there was only one with cubs, and those were boring as hell. Rolling her eyes, she stood up and sighing left without being caught, it seemed, and with her scent washed, she hoped she wouldnt be tracked or anything.

the crowd of them wait with bated breath and magdalena assumes most of them are simoultaneously hoping and praying for the bastard's downfall as well. it seems, mercifully, that their prayers have been answered indeed. her hide crawls, the feeling prickling and uncomfortable as the minutes tick on and on and on still.

he was gone.

whether the fucker had fled the valley, crawled under a rock, or had finally gotten his throat ripped out was unclear and with his children lining the proverbial stands, it seemed magdalena hadn't been the only one out of the loop. the wet press of @Melusina's nose in her flank draws the girl's attention, body shifting back so that both sisters are standing shoulder to shoulder. an ear flicks as the sounds of further scuffling is heard, and mismatched eyes turn to the fight again, catching the sight of one sister gently shoving the other back only to be met with snapping jaws aimed at her face. the venom rising in her throat tastes completely acrid and magdalena is mere seconds from spitting it at the two of them when she feels her sister shifting at her side.

almost as if drawn on a string, she follows a step behind, gaze fixing on the child her sister is starting towards. dominic, she hears mel call out. not someone that magdalena is familiar with, and therefore immediately not trusted. the girl continues when her sister stops, shoulder pushing forward to angle herself in front of melusina, standing between her sister and this boy. her attention is leveled on him with a harsh stare. "who are you?" gone are the soft, requesting tones. instead she demands an answer from @Dominic, every inch the over-protective sister that she should have been all along._{BG — ART — CODE}

@Zsolt doesn't know who the guy is either and it makes karsa sag in minor relief. at least he wasn't the only one. however. it looked like they were going to have to figure out who this challenger was sooner or later because aeistrios doesn't show to answer the challenge. "probably a good idea for him to skip out, he's gotten kinda banged up lately." the yearling notes, using the tip of a canine to push between his claws, trying to gently dislodge a particularly annoying tuft of desert grass that had managed to get stuck between them. "seems like one of those stubborn types though, i'm sure he'll be back soon enough." if all the scrutiny hadn't broken the proverbial camel's back yet, karsa had doubts that it ever would. blue eyes swing to the other fight ongoing, wincing as one girl's teeth sink into the other's cheek. "looks rough over there..." he notes, ear flicking as she's pushed back only to launch forward once again.

A voice calls out to him. Familiar and yet strange. His chest tightens with instinctive anticipation? Fear? Somehow, deep in the recess of his mind, @Melusina had become associated with danger. The boy almost winces as she comes closer, though remains steadfast in his quiet, impassive stature. Odd blue eyes narrow, focusing heavily on the small girl. So much smaller than him now. When had that happened? It was almost surreal, seeing her like this now - how much time had passed between them? Too long. Distantly he recalled having some sort of fascination following her around. Wanting to make sure nothing bad happened to her.

His jaw set, the growing muscle there tightening as she begins apologizing. Emotion chokes him for a moment, but Dominic has made a promise to himself. To never let anyone ever see him cry again. To see his pain. No, there is nothing on his features as that guilty expression goes on full display for him. Was it his responsibility to forgive her and relieve her of all of this? There is a heavy weight on his shoulders screaming, yes, but the boy is reluctant to comply.

Lips purse into a straight line, his expression unreadable as their gazes lock and he peers at her from behind long lengths of growing mane. Melusina is all soft, delicate lines and the very epitome of a princess. Over time, Dominic's appearance was nothing more than that of a scraggly beast with little to no care for his physical appearance. Why should he care? A sigh escapes his jaws finally, the sound soft - barely audible. As he is about to speak, however, another pushes herself between the two of them.

The expression that had been softening suddenly hardens back into that protective mask he made for himself. Who are you? She demands, and Dominic finds the fur along his spine raising. Ebony lips quiver, resisting the urge to flash teeth at the girl. She is as small as Melusina, but with a blatantly different personality. The pale blue of those eyes shifts to meet @Magdalena's softer shades. Nothing is said for a long moment before he finally stands, "No one." He replies simply, then turns to leave without another word.

Doomed and Damned, Henrik seemed to be since the moment he had entangled himself with Renfri and the Saxe blood. His question had gone unanswered- he was still oblivious to the fact that Renfri no longer walked the land of Amaryllis as a living being. But it was clear that Aiest had no intention to keep his hold on the land he had claimed. It seemed to be a pattern, of sorts.

Irritated with his lack of knowledge and information he does not need to be told twice. Banned from the land he would turn to take his leave. There was nothing left for him there.

After what seemed like forever, Scorpius would stir, declaring that Aeistrios would not be fighting, that he had forsaken his pride. His children. It took all his nerve not to glance towards Heisa, instead focusing on what the new king would do. The adults were banished, plain and simple, he couldn’t blame him for that, but Evren would frown, mind going to Iofiel, the Oasis loyal sand-cat. As his father had always said. Loyal to the land, not to any given king- but he’d served them all regardless.

Yearlings and under would remain in the Oasis and he stiffened slightly. Heisa. Did that mean she was a prisoner here now? Or was this to protect the brood left behind by the purple psychopath? Scorpius beckoned his family forward and just like that, the show was over. Evren turned, angling so he would purposely find the purple blob of @Heisa stomping off. Maybe I’ll see her soon.. he thought, glancing to @Faustine and then moving off, roughly brushing into @Saladin as he did with a grin.
