CUB EVENT!! 1st round is getting the cubs gathered and they can dye themselves the pretty colors, 2nd round will be everyone chipping in a line to the song Bronx is leading about Morrigan, 3rd round will be them all singing it together and exits

It hadn't been easy for the older lion to gather all the dying supplies, in fact it had taken him many trips out to the neutral lands and back bringing back the various sands and clay that would make up the bright colors of dyes they would use today. With a few shades of reds, purple, and even a few blue and beige colors he hoped this would suffice. Any other supplies he needed to create other colors wouldn't hold up in the cold unfortunately, so these would have to do!

Setting up the dyes in little hollow logs broken in half, he set them up along the back wall of a much larger cave. One to hold him and the huge amount of cubs he was about to call for. Despite feeling the cold chew at his bones he had a smile on his face while he carefully decorated the cave wall with paw swipes of clay and bright sand. Standing back to appreciate the splash of color to the cave he chuckled. Hoping this would help entice the youngsters to be creative.

Turning he chuffed for the cubs of the summit to come join him for a day of fun, something to take their minds off the cold and any grumpy adults. Bronx may have been getting older in body, but in spirit he was still a cub at heart!

Fearne's ears twist up with the rumbles and calls that carry over the Summit. Something to do? He's quick to follow and approach the scene- glancing up at @Bronx for just a second with bare recognition in his mismatched eyes. It's a pride member, not a total stranger. And there's a solid chance he's heard the lion's name before and just forgotten it.

Quickly who this lion is doesn't matter much- there's something bright to be found. Fearne is drawn in towards the hues, leaping from the grey of the Summit and easily catching his attention. He scrutinizes the material. It's a foreign sight on the Summit and quite clearly, between it's intentional settling in the log and some signs of it still on Bronx's paws, it's been brought her purposefully. Fearne leans in and sniffs at the sand and clay, wrinkling up his nose as some dust makes him feel like he's going to sneeze. What's this for? He asks with a voice that amounts to genuine curiosity with a twist of impatient if you don't tell me soon I'm going to keep asking questions._{CODE | LINEART COLORING BY ME | BACKGROUND}

LUCÍA

There was a call, no, a summons that pulled the girl from her previous task of carving her name in a cave wall on the mountainside. Boredom was something that Lucía had unfortunately become accustomed to. Her cousins were all way too young to play with and her brothers were just plain annoying. All of the other cubs that seemed to live in the Summit also just didn't interest her. And though she should have been interested, Lucía didn't mind dancing to the beat of her own drum. She was a lone wolf, and she was okay with that. But this call had drifted towards her and echoed in the cave, a nuisance really and she would huff, exasperated before storming from the cave. She'd finish her work later, she supposed.

She makes her way across the snow-covered landscape, her sharp ruby gaze landing on @Bronx and then flickering to @Fearne before turning her attention to the different dyes that were set out before them. What's this for? The boy asks and Lucía can't help but roll her eyes before strolling in closer, leaning down to gaze at the sand and clay. "For painting." She responds before reaching down a tiny paw to scoop up some of the clay. She begins to smear some on her front legs, watching as the colors of her own fur begin to darken and turn more russet. "We can change.." The comment is more so to herself than the other cub, intrigued by the idea of changing her own coat colors, to disguise herself should she ever need to. This would be a good lesson after all.

She might not have had the skill with children than her wife always had, but she certainly had found a heavy appreciation in the innocence they were allowed to live in. And so when she heard a call for the youngest Illyrians, Morrigan would follow after @Fearne's small pawsteps, keeping her distance so as not to ruin his independence, wondering if any of his littermates would join the little gathering. She would look to @Bronx for permission to observe before moving to settle on the outskirts, making clear she had no desire to intrude or take charge of the handsome husband's, as she had once called him, plans. The two children already present were inspecting what appeared to be some type of paints? Interesting. This should be fun to watch indeed.

When Mazarine asked for more fun in her life, she didn’t think that nearly losing her life in a fogged mess created by pumpkins would be something that would happen. Lungs still occasionally hurt whenever she took sharp inhales. Even now when she coughed a bit from the aftermath. It took everything for Maze not to whine out in mild pain. Stretching limbs to press paws against @Izobel’s back, she tried to awaken her sister. The runt heard a call on the winds and became immediately curious as to what it could be. When none of the others chose to move Maze left them behind. Slipping from the den and venturing off as she’d done so many times before.

The scent of other Illyrians came from a direction she now wandered t’wards. Coming to easily find @Fearne and @Lucía. In front of them was a larger lion @Bronx whose smile gave her pause. What’s he up to? She thought to herself with cautious steps coming to stand next to the ruby eyed cub. Mazarine took a sniff at the colored clay. So curious she was as a single paw dipped into one of the more darker colors. Its pigment looked quite nice; but, it didn’t stop her from shaking the mess off. {What are we doing with this?}

Zahra was by no means a cub or youngling who needed training or those old group lessons she used to go to when she was much younger. But it didnt mean she couldnt attend them if they offered some sort of entertainment and an excuse to rest from her duties every once in a while. And thus Zahra arrived witha soft smile on her lips, her pink eyes traveling over those who had arrived before her. Seeing some familiar faces One being the small cub she spoke to some time ago, @Fearne. She smiled a bit more.

Quietly she made her way towards the queen @Morrigan and lied down nearby. "Greetings, my Queen. How are you fairing?" She asked as she stretched her toes a bit.

The rumbling summons that echos over the peak doesn't escape Diego's notice, even occupied as he is. He pauses rather awkwardly where he clings to the crags of the rocky cliff he was trying to scale, the uncertain twitching of his bobbed tail accompanied by the full-body quiver of his growing muscles. It's not that he doesn't want to answer, of course, but er...Now what?

Divine intervention gives him his answer. Or rather, his muscles finally gave way beneath the strain, and the fiery cub went tumbling back down to the gravelly path below with a yelp, his claws raking down the grey stone to no avail. At least they were sharp?

A low groan whines from the discombobulated fluffball as he slowly props himself up, glaring up at the distant ledge as he rubbed his head. One day. He stuck his tongue out defiantly - and then bounded off towards @Bronx's call with his usual lack of grace, unphased.

Cubs were delightfully bouncy, didn't you know?

"What's all this stuff?" Big copper eyes stared with wide curiosity at the cavern's painted walls, before zeroing right in on the stores of brightly colored pigments. "Is it for eating?" He would attempt to shove past @Lucía's painted legs so that he could shove his curious face into the dye she was using (what belonged to his cousin also belonged to him, after all), nose wrinkling in confusion at the earthy scent before he turned his attention to something more purple-y.

He wasn't sure what this stuff was or why the others were smearing it on themselves, but some of the colors kind of reminded him of the sweet berries that could be found further down the mountain. So...obviously he had to see if it tasted the same, right?

The strange smells are put to the side, as Diego closed his eyes and leaned down to take a great big lick...

There is nothing brave or independent about Alette. There never had been. From the moment she could open her eyes she had insisted upon keeping them closed. Insisted upon not learning to crawl or walk or play. If a bug passed gas then the princess was more than likely to jump clean out of her skin.

So naturally she only comes because @Morrigan was here. And to Morrigan is where Alette promptly scuttles over to. Shirking away passed Zahra and coming to push herself headfirst between the Queen's front paws; face buried deep into her mother's chest fur. A little ear trains back toward the group of other cubs to listen. But not even their questions are enough to entice Alette to look.

To the event he wanders slowly, not at all in a rush to get there but he follows after his brother @Diego's scent with a carefree stride. Not at all bothered that there were quite a few already gathered but instead, he finds the figurehead of the pride @Morrigan and moves towards her. Though as he does so realizes that another young cub is with her and bent into her chest. Guelle couldn't see her face at all but he takes a seat beside his High Sovereign and inclines his head, buenos días mi reina. Acknowledging his queen in spanish because it sounded so much better than english. Plus, he was told that it would make him look more intelligent and that always helped. Though, his view quickly swept to the dark figure of @Alette and he cleared his throat, hello. I am Guelle Casales. Would it make her show her face or make her push herself further into, whom he presumed to be, her mother's body?

She was completely enthralled with the paints, content with coloring herself a darker shade. It was the arrival of @Diego that earned a scowl from the young girl, her ruby gaze narrowing slightly as her cousin asserted himself next to her. What's all this stuff? Is it for eating? "Ay Dios mío Diego No te lo comas!" She hisses at him, embarrased that he would even attempt to do such a thing. She swore all the boys were basically cave men and just as smelly too! "Pintas con él, mira." She says before a mischievous smile flickers across her face. Taking a large chunk of purple onto her tiny paw she shifts, turning to slap a huge pawprint across Diego's face. There was no force behind the movement, she had no intentions of hurting him. But now half of his face was covered in purple goo. "Wow, you look better already!" She snickers, trying to hold in the belly laughs that threatened to escape.
