Morrigan had not expected to be noticed so quickly by the other children, but she was no surprised when @Alette's dark figure appeared beneath her limbs, bending automatically to place a soothing kiss of greeting on the petite girl's head, smoothing down the fur that had been disrupted by her choice of hiding place. She couldn't help but be reminded of Alette's oldest sibling and the way he'd often done the same beneath Talisa. "These are our friends, meine sweet," she coos but not press the child to unveil her face. "@Zahra, this is my daughter, Alette. Lettie, this is Zahra Sigrún. Her father was my best friend and commander when I first arrived here."

Another joins them and she is grateful for the distraction, one she recognizes but is always surprised by how quickly the children all seemed to grow. "Guten Morgen," she returns @Güelle's greeting with a smile, waiting, too, to see if the boy her own age could coax Alette's lilac eyes away from her mother's chest.

She stayed buried. Only nuzzling more into @Morrigan as she kisses the top of the girl's head. {Herllo, Zhra.} Her voice fully muffled out by the Queen's thick fur. But aside from the nearly incoherent greeting, Alette still didn't budge.

Ears hone in as another joins. Someone younger by the sound of his voice. Another cub like her. But it wasn't any of her siblings. Was he.. Talking to her? Hard to tell with when she looked like an ostrich with it's head in the sand. Ever so slightly her head turns, one lavender eye peeping out to spot the golden boy. {What were those words?} She whispers out toward him. Other cubs were saying weird things too. Things she didn't understand. She understood that it was another language. Her own family spoke more than common. But each had a different name. What was the name of his?

Syren had been a ways off when all the cubs had been called together. And at first she wasn't going to go. No real reason outside of just plain laziness. But the longer time ticked by the more and more curious she became. Until finally she relented.

She had stood off to the side for a bit. Simply watching the others before finally stepping forward. Her dark head cranes to see what the man offered. She watches one boy go in for a taste and Syren scrunches up her nose. And as a girl, Syren assumes scolds him by the tone of her strange words, slaps him with some of the gunk; well Syren can't help but to burst out laughing.

Curiosity had Jude moving from his nice and cozy den to head towards where all of the commotion was. If this was some kind of party, he definitely wanted to be a part of it! He practically sprinted across the short distance to where the other cubs had begun to gather and it was perfect timing too, because he just so happened to see Lucia smearing paint across @Diego's face. The boy attempted to sneak up behind his cousin, motioning a 'shh' sound at @Syren as he crept up behind his cousin. Grabbing a large scoop of purple dye he takes a pawful and slaps it down on top of Lucia's head, bursting out into a boisterous fit of laughter. "I dunno, I think Lucia looks much prettier now, what do you guys think?" He muses with a wide grin, bobbed tail twitching with excitement.

CUB EVENT!! 1st round is getting the cubs gathered and they can dye themselves the pretty colors, 2nd round will be everyone chipping in a line to the song Bronx is leading about Morrigan, 3rd round will be them all singing it together and exits

It did not take too long for others to gather around him, and the first was a small cub that was investigating the dyes (@Fearne) but before he could answer another cub approached and demonstrated. A little chuckle left his lungs while he nodded, "See? it changes the colors of your pelt." he looked to @Morrigan with a nod of approval far be it from him to tell her to go elsewhere. Besides she would get a first seat view of the song he wanted to create.

Soon other cubs came along, he noted @Alette hiding into Morrigan and with a soft smile he approached. Moving to keep his body low he carried over a small gourd that had some colored sand in it, he gently nudged it forward with a wink sent to Morrigan to encourage her to play. Bronx could never force a cub to play when they did not want to, so instead he would bring the toys to them.

However things quickly began to crumble out of control while @Jude and @Syren began a little war of colors. "Alright, alright guys, let's calm down a bit" he said with a chuckle. "Now, how about we all come up with a few words that show much we appreciate our Lady Morrigan?" he said trying to distract the cubs from becoming wild and chaotic.

Hmmm paint? Interesting. It immediately interested Fearne however who began to see ways he could make himself look like other animals, or like plants and trees. He went right for the green and brown, paws diving in to get a hand full to smear down his forehead, over his muzzle, and down his chest in one long green line.

All things considered he was a pretty well behaved kid amongst the group that was growing louder, but leaving Fearne well enough alone to his own devices. So he's ready when @Bronx asked for lines of a song about "Lady Morrigan."

Lady Morrigan is my Mummy! He suggests as the first line, and a perfect one at that he thought. Because it's true. Just... Not for all the kids here. He didn't quite consider that though._{CODE | ART | BACKGROUND}

Like all the other cubs she heard the summons, but Wyn wasn't so quick to join the group. The young girl had always naturally been an outsider. She preferred the solitude of her own company but didn't mind sneaking about and observing from time to time. This day was no different as she moved across the snow-covered mountains. She kept her tiny body low to the ground, plowing through the snow as silently as she could manage. By the time she arrives in the vicinity the other cubs are already well involved in some painting activity. Her pink gaze narrows to watch as Jude, @Diego, and Lucia throw paints at each other and she rolls her eyes, unfortunate really. Lowering herself into the snow she would continue to watch as @Bronx attempts to wrangle them all, good luck with that idea. Those other cubs were heathens, that much was certain.

Morrigan looked down at @Alette with warmth in her mismatched gaze as she waited to see if she could be coaxed out. Her curiosity seemed to win out in the end for @Guelle and his family's language, but just as she was focusing on what his answer would be exactly, for she had never asked that question herself, she was taken back by what the leader of this shindig had just said. A song about her? Her brows rose in obvious surprise and she felt something they High Queen did not often feel, just a bit of embarrassment at being the focus of something other than bloodshed. @Fearne himself is the first to contribute, announcing his own proud connection to Morrigan, and the scarred warrior is suddenly very glad indeed she chose to participate in this gathering.

There was a distinct amount of pleasure in the seconds that followed @Morrigan's own other-language words that kept his smile firmly planted on his mug. Deeply exhilirated by the fact that not only had she reciprocating in a different language than common but she reciprocated PERIOD. Thankfully he wasn't given a whole lot of time to bask in the glow of being recognized by their almighty leader because one of his @Alette's pearly purple eyes were peaking out of the chest hairs of the great leader herself.

A question on her lips that most certainly made his grin all the more gleaming. Spanish! It's my family's tongue. Excitedly he replied, not realizing that sometimes being excited made him a little louder than usual, Like to say Hello, we say Hola! That was always a good start to teach someone how to communicate like they did. They might not be instantly fluent in it like he and his siblings and cousins were but saying hello was a damn good start!

Ears quickly pivoted to hear @Bronx express that they should praise their great leader. Right, this was an event! Guelle had temporarily forgotten that this was an event and not just a i'm meeting another cub moment. Lady Morrigan is strong and ponderosa! He exclaims, eyeing the host before looking to Morrigan and Alette. That means powerful.

Jude would have liked to continue with his michief but when @Bronx gathered them in close, earning his attention, he quickly dropped whatever paints he had and meandered his way closer to him. They began offering words that could describe their Queen Morrigan and Jude smiled at his brother's suggestion of Powerful. But now it was his turn to offer something, and he wasn't going to let this be an opportunity wasted. "She is hermosa. Beautiful." He would say carefully, his purple gaze locking onto the woman before turning his attention back to Bronx. Even with all of her scars Morrigan's coat told a story, one of many hard battles won. That was beautiful in itself, if you asked Jude of course.
