The arrival of @Recluse brought the King's attention from the battles going on, purple eyes settling onto the Noble with ears swiveling towards him. Such thin patience he had, even more so when it had been tested already today. He feels his fur bristle, and suddenly Recluse has all his attention. "You are right, it seems I am very lacking in friends." The intense glare to his Noble would suggest his words were indicated at him.

The battle with @Elio brings him back to their focus briefly, and Aeistrios finds a growl as he sees @Melusina try to escape his son's wrath. "She tries to escape you, Elio! She disrespects your power! What do you do?!" He yells, aiming to reach his son's ear, to encourage him on to harsher attacks. Make her bleed, make her bruise - how dare she make a joke of his child by running.

But alas, he remembers Recluse who is near him, and his features sour. "Where is your loyalty, Recluse?" Asked as innocently as if he questioned him about the weather, his gaze slowly glancing over to him.

If the woman had just submitted and shown some degree of remorse for interceding in business that was not hers to interfere in, Renfri might have been capable of showing mercy. The woman was an interest of Aeistrios’ and she had not agreed to be the keeper of his wives and lovers. It was the interference in pride and family matters that he spurred her to intercept, but she would have just as readily reminded the woman to keep her mouth shut and stepped back to let Aeistrios deal with it on his own. If only she hadn’t tried to run. Her own daughter had tried it once as a means to try and escape punishment, and she’d learned the hard way that Renfri was a predator. The chase only made her more vicious. It was like fanning the flames of an already uncontrollable fire, and if anyone stood any chance of calling her off now, it vanished with the sight of her pathetic scrambling. A snarl ripped from her throat, only distantly aware of the conversation happening between Recluse and her husband, but that was a matter she would deal with later. She lunged forward again, parted jaws aiming to try and grasp one of the womans hind legs so she could attempt to yank her back down to the ground. Dominic was not at all versed in the ways of battle. In all his short life he'd only experienced one fight and it hadn't been anything near as serious as this. There was a fear in his heart; a rampant beat that made his chest hurt and his nerves feel on fire. The adults around them did nothing but urge it on, encouraging this brutality between children. A flare of hatred flared in his dark, simple little heart.

Pain erupted as little claws sank into his flesh, and even further when the other's teeth came down on his pointed ear. Lips peel back, those needle-like teeth flashing in frustration, but he doesn't cry or make a sound. Dominic, even in his young age - has no desire to give them the satisfaction. No matter how much it hurt. He couldn't see it, but blood trickled down from each wound, marring his plum coat.

He wasn't aware of it, his mind far too underdeveloped to know battle tactics, but the other's balance was no doubt compromised due to his limb lifting. At least, this is what Dominic's instincts told him. And so, the young boy acted accordingly. Jaws attempt to grab onto the throat of Iritrios before using as much of his weight as possible to slam downward in an attempt to bodyslam the other boy into the ground.

Things seemed to have exploded into chaos around him, but he was only really aware of the sounds of approval, the encouragement of his penchant for violence. This was what he was supposed to do. This was what would make his parents, his family, proud. It was enough to egg him on, even as pointy teeth latched onto the side of his neck and the weight of the slightly older cub came crashing down on him. A frustrated noise somewhere between a growl and a grunt left him as he went toppling towards the ground, but as he felt himself shifting, he attempted to use his other limb to try and hook his claws into the side of the other cubs neck, hoping to pull the other boy to the ground as well. The sound of chaos within her home was not new to her, but it was no less stressful. She was glad that by the time she arrived, others seemed to be handling things well enough that she would not have to leap into any fights of her own. At least, not yet. Upon her arrival, she only caught the tail end of her fathers words, seeming to inquire about their noble’s loyalty. She had been there when he’d stood up for the Scillian Queen against her mother and had known that Renfri was not one to take well to being questioned. Had he now done the same to her father? She eyed the small man out of the corner of her eye, but she moved to stand alongside her sister, in her usual spot at Seifri’s right side. Glancing towards her sibling with a raised brow, she wondered what exactly she had missed.

Seems so long I've been waiting, still don't know what for

@Aeistrios remained deaf to her, whatever bond they had formed, which she had put to him in her plea, was met with silence. It was a full betrayal of trust, any illusion of worth was shattered. She should hate him for it, curse him with the death he so longed for, but she only felt the sting of rejection.

Despite leaving the immediate area, the vile woman continued to pursue her, her intentions unclear. So far as Bordeaux knew, @Renfri would only be satisfied after clawing her to pieces.

Bordeaux would keep running, slowed only by the lioness reaching to try and grasp at her hide leg. She would be stopped abruptly, stagger, but remain upright. She could do nothing but flail her captured leg violently in an attempt to dislodge the lioness before again attempting to flee. She would get loose, but the strain that had been put on her leg was painful, as well as the cuts near her foot.

ESCAPE ATTEMPT #2:

The other was quick to retaliate, so quick and Dominic was pulled down with the other boy, claws digging at his neck again, the blood on his coat grows, the pain causes a heated pain to radiate all along his neck. He tries not to let this deter him, jaws move to attempt to keep a grip on Iritrios' neck, wanting to shake his head side to side and back and forth, attempting to make his mark and cut up anything he could with his little dagger like teeth. Even if he lost here, he wanted to show he wasn't weak, he wasn't to be bullied. They could throw him around, kick him, but Dominic had determined the moment this cub attacked him he would fight back tooth and claw.

The woman did not stop her attempted to escape, and Renfri would not halt her pursuit. It had seemed from the moment they met, the healer had wanted to paint the Queen in a particular light from the way she looked at her upon their first meeting. It had irritated her then, but now, well. At least she was finally giving the woman a proper reason to be afraid. It they were all going to see her as a villain even when she did her best to smile and be polite, then she would give them exactly what they wanted. Her grasp on the woman’s leg slipped, but she was even more relentless with each moment that the chase dragged on. She lunged forward again, aiming for the same limb she’d previously grasped. Again, her goal was the same. To try and latch down, and attempt to bring the woman back to the ground. They both fell, but it was not without a new rush of pain as the other boy began to shake his head viciously with his teeth still firmly locked on Iritrios’ neck. He growled in his pain and frustration, but he wasn’t going to let it stop him or slow him down. He would wear his wounds proudly, and flaunt to his siblings about how well he had done to intercept the trespasser. And he was just as sure that he would get extra praise from his parents once he was done. Win or lose was a flimsy concept to him at the moment, it was all about the violence. He turned his head and aimed to try and grasp the cubs fleshy cheek (or whatever he could reach in the midst of all of his thrashing) between his teeth. The other boy seemed just as intent on not making a sound as he was. While he had his parents to praise him and uplift him after this, Dominic was alone. He had no father, his Mother wasn't here. He was alone and he realizes then that coming here had been a bad idea. Slow to the draw, Dominic. He chides himself. Melusina was a...friend? But he was a fool to even think or consider he could've done something to save her. He was so helpless.

A growl erupted from his throat as he continued his thrashing, though claws raked down his cheek and over his close eye, causing the boy to almost cry out in pain, but no. Despite the warm trickle of blood going own his face, his reactive response was to try and clench down harder onto Iritrios' throat, unsure on what the goal was, but wanting to make sure this boy remembered him.
